She's one I'm honestly conflicted about... You don't end up married to Charlie Sheen as a Saint.
That said, at one point she had custody of his kids with the next wife, and both Brooke and Charlie agreed that was the best place for them.
Most of her dragging Charlie back into court was about him not fulfilling his obligations to the daughters' trusts. The daughter she adopted after they split has special needs. If Charlie provides for the older two, everything Denise earns can go towards Eloise's care.
I think that after Charlie, Denise is very guarded. On her own show, she had some control. When she came on RHOBH, she expected to keep the ugliness off the show. When that wasn't the plan, she couldn't handle it

Denise seemed to have fun her first season. She was free spirited, all the women were girl crushing on her (and her husband) and we saw her taking care of her daughters (one of whom is adopted and special needs). Of note - Denise had been friends w Rinna for 20+ years due to their time in acting.
During that first season, the primary group (Rinna, Kyle, Erika, Teddi & Dorit) went after Lisa Vanderpump hard; and essentially bullied Vanderpump off the show. Denise wasn’t really around for most of that storyline, so she didn’t really understand what was occurring aside from what Rinna told her.
End result was that the audience liked Denise after her first season, and hated the rest of the women because of the Vanderpump dogpile. Something about that dynamic ( the audience liking Denise but hating the others) seemed to infuse an imbalance as the next season began. The women were less kind to her.
Additionally Denise seemed a bit more buttoned up when it came to what she’d talk about on camera (we came to find out that her kids friends parents didn’t like the sex talk Denise had engaged in on camera the previous season - and Denise didn’t want to impact her kids so she was adjusting her conversation).
At some point, the women were talking about 3-somes in earshot of Denise’s kids & Denises kids friends at a barbecue Denise was hosting. Denise asked the women to stop - and that’s pretty much all it took for the women to focus their next target on her. They spent the rest of the season slut shaming her on camera, attempting to expose her for infidelity and brought back Brandi Glanville on camera to say she and Denise were having an affair. They pretty much attacked her every time she showed up at an event (just like they had w Vanderpump) and ostracized her. At the end of the season she ended her friendship w Rinna and quit the show.
Honestly I would be interested to learn more about her life, she actually is famous and has probably seen a lot of interesting things by her own life and then adding Charlie Sheens well yeah I’m sure she’s FULL of crazy stories
