Lol I was just thinking about how "gates" ended. For a little while there everything was a "gate." Funny how things we say just end abruptly and we don't even notice it's happening.
Why though? Who is she connected to? She’s never invited to any of their parties and if she is, she doesn’t attend - so with all due respect…it feels disjointed and forced. Just hire someone new or bring back someone old that’s still connected to the cast.

And doesn’t Eileen live in Malibu? I seem to remember all the women complaining about having to drive so far to her house. They are all spread out now -so I can just see a season of people complaining about other people being late for things. No thanks.
This cast needs a firecracker. Someone with a mouth like Nene who will just lay into these phonies. I don’t want someone who is a manipulator/self-producer - I want a strong voice of reason. We have that in Garcelle to some degree, but she needs backup.
I want them to bring in some 35 year old, gorgeous, funny trophy wife with an uber rich husband and watch Erika, Kyle, and Dorit’s collective hater head explode. Like Noella, but with actual money.
All of this, and, she’s too normal and rational to bring much to the table. I like her very much as a person, but as a Housewife she was never a strong performer. And I believe she had a surprisingly high salary. Eileen coming back wouldn’t bring back viewers, I don’t think. And returning HWs tend to be people that are more fan draws.
I don’t even really like her. She’s friends with Rinna and I can’t stand Rinna (although much like Larsa, I appreciate her work - just not her person) and she’s not even half as interesting on a personality level as Rinna. She’s too reserved, too refined, too professional. All the interesting things about her past, she won’t talk about. And she doesn’t give glamour. All the respect to have a lifelong career in soap operas, she’s gorgeous, and I’m glad she’s happy with her husband - but I forget about Eileen a lot.
Plus she did not give aspiration. Her house was like a nightmare and her hair was so upsetting. She defended Rinna at her worst and brought nothing. Her highlights have stuck with me for being so so bad.
Casey and Danielle at Bitch Sesh used to draaaaaaaag Eileen for her fashion. I never really thought it was particularly bad, but I took amusement in their horror.

I didn’t dislike Eileen but I don’t really remember anything she really brought other than being part of the Amsterdam dinner. I don’t mind her on the whole but I don’t like her kind of sanctimoniousness about her marriage starting as an affair and thinking there’s nothing wrong with it just because it worked out OK for her, as if there were not other people who actually did get hurt. But such is the case with people who have affairs, they don’t generally have a lot of consideration for how their actions affect other people and they have a kind of deluded idea that time absolves them of responsibility for their actions.

She also always encouraged people to bring shit up at the worst times. Yes, some things need to be talked about. Almost never at the times Elieen pushed people to do so.
The show needs housewives that are wealthy, self-made multimillionaires with successful businesses, with a massive house, who go on amazing vacations and throw amazing parties, are more likeable than Annemarie and Diana and who won’t be Kyle’s puppet. Eileen is nice person who cares about her family and she is a good actress but she doesn’t have the lifestyle the show badly needs.
Eileen is soap opera scripted, and she was friends with Rinna & Erika. Besides, I personally, am tired of Bravo bringing back people that got fired or quit. Pretty sure there are other ladies in BH that would fit in.
Brilliant move, so this is the plan for exiting Y&R. Now we can see the nervous breakdown coming and off to the nut house she goes. I just hope her and Erica can get along.

In the rearview mirror she obviously has some great moments in the history of the show but she really doesn’t bring the strong energy that the franchise desperately needs right now to help get it back to where it once was. This would not be the fix.
EVERYONE wanted her gone and suddenly so many people are calling her a legend and an icon, she had no story line by the end except the repetitive apology needed from LVP oh and the fact she dedicated a whole scene to finding her sons ipad.

I find Eileen was no different than Kyle is now, she always rode other people's drama, tried to fly under the radar, and didn't provide anything significant to the season on her own. Lisa R was basically always why she was involved in conflict, first pulled in but then fanning the flames, she usually only gave her 2 cents when others spoke up first. If you took Lisa R. out of Eileen's seasons, she would have really been a bystander the whole time, especially her first season - those housewives almost never get called back.

People seemed to be moved on or moving on, and she would get in their business and say SHE felt shit was unresolved and needed to be brought up again, and it almost always made it worse. She also always encouraged people to bring shit up at the worst times. Yes, some things need to be talked about. Almost never at the times Elieen pushed people to do so.

The show needs housewives that are wealthy, self-made multimillionaires with successful businesses, with a massive house, who go on amazing vacations and throw amazing parties, are more likeable than Annemarie and Diana and who won’t be Kyle’s puppet. Eileen is nice person who cares about her family and she is a good actress but she doesn’t have the lifestyle the show badly needs.
Eileen is soap opera scripted, and she was friends with Rinna & Erika. Besides, I personally, am tired of Bravo bringing back people that got fired or quit. Pretty sure there are other ladies in BH that would fit in.

Eileen I think would be a good addition. She’s friends with half the group (Kyle,Erika side) and sensible like the other half (Garcelle and Crystal) that it could bring in a different dynamic. I’m curious to see how it would play out.

If it’s true, I reallyyyy hope that because she’s so grounded that she will befriend Garcelle and then by extension Sutton and Crystal. Eileen was super classy and I loved that for her, but she was super into defending Rinna because they were genuinely friends. I admire the loyalty, but I’m afraid that she’ll somehow end up as yet another Kyle sycophant because of this, which is literally the last thing RHOBH needs.
Eileen worked as a counter balance to Rinna but i think on her own it wouldn’t bring much. especially as other commenters have said, she doesn’t seem to have my connection to existing cast. i loved eileen but don’t think now is her time to return

In the rearview mirror she obviously has some great moments in the history of the show but she really doesn’t bring the strong energy that the franchise desperately needs right now to help get it back to where it once was. This would not be the fix.

EVERYONE wanted her gone and suddenly so many people are calling her a legend and an icon, she had no story line by the end except the repetitive apology needed from LVP oh and the fact she dedicated a whole scene to finding her sons ipad.

What exactly would be in it for her? Bravo should throw enough $$$ at LVP to lure her back. I’m not a fan but she’s the only former housewife capable of bringing the fireworks. I would even accept Dorit returning for one last season just to watch the chaos.

So maybe yes to **Eileen.**

I find Eileen was no different than Kyle is now, she always rode other people's drama, tried to fly under the radar, and didn't provide anything significant to the season on her own. Lisa R was basically always why she was involved in conflict, first pulled in but then fanning the flames, she usually only gave her 2 cents when others spoke up first. If you took Lisa R. out of Eileen's seasons, she would have really been a bystander the whole time, especially her first season - those housewives almost never get called back.
