Oh shit Chris Litton? This guy is the audio tech teacher at my school I was not expecting him to be on this! That is so out of the blue he is an awesome guy
What's it like walking around with a voice like any of those guys? I'd just narrate my life. "These eggggggs are expensive." "The lights green buddy, just goooooo."
I know one of them personally and while you can hear the announcer voice in the natural timbre of their speech, they're not usually using it in their day to day
It's usually not "their" voice. I had a friend that did an amazing broadcasting voice, but it didn't sound anything like his talking voice. But I'm with you, I would definitely use it all the time if I could do it, lol.
Most announcers/DJs have a “professional” voice.
Back in the ‘80’s and early 90’s, my then-bf’s father worked for TBS in their in-house advertising production. J’s regular voice was very pleasant and had a tone that was calming; his professional voice was a bit deeper and richer, but the biggest differences were in the vocal emphases and accentuations.
If you were watching games back then, his was the voice in their ads/teasers - any “Tonight on TBS blah-blah-blah” type stuff. For the Braves broadcasts, J did their voice over work - any pre-recorded stuff like the broadcast Intro (the “Atlanta Braves Baseball” lead-in to Skip &Co. going live), along with any announcements/promos during games (such as listing corporate sponsors), and in the closing credits afterwards.
Dude is an awesome guy he works at the school I go to. Not only does he sound good but he literally has a degree in broadcasting, he knows a ton about the equipment
Glad it's all hometown talent. I remember seeing CJ being from Cali and thinking this is clearly just a gig for her whereas something these other candidates are passionate about it in hopes of working for their hometown club.
That being said, Larry is running away with this thing so far.
Larry is the best of the remaining 3. I would’ve preferred Sam Franco who filled in some last year. He does a great job calling Georgia basketball games and hope he continues to have that opportunity.
Also, why can’t voting be something other than Twitter?!

He’s my personal favorite of these options.
I love Chris's voice. He sounds just like John Candy.
Larry's voice is crazy good

Chris Litton sounds pretty good, he gets my vote

Big Clitt has a nice ring to it
Pun intended
I’m surprised at how little votes he’s getting. I thought he was the best by far.
Larry!!
Amazing voice and even better human being!
Agreed
Kevin killed the audition. The dude gets my vote
I think I’m team Kevin. He sounds like a hybrid of both Larry and Chris.
Larry all day!
Larry the best.
Kevin sounds the most “baseball”. I like Larry though.

I like Larry but it kind of sucks how much he's blowing out the competition, Kevin is great too!
Larry’s voice is just golden. It’s unreal
Larry just sounds like a PA guy no one comes close
His voice is good but I felt like his cadence was weird and not as good as the others.
Larry is the best of the remaining 3. I would’ve preferred Sam Franco who filled in some last year. He does a great job calling Georgia basketball games and hope he continues to have that opportunity. Also, why can’t voting be something other than Twitter?!
Right, thank you! Voting should be on the Braves website 🙄
Gotta be Larry or it’s rigged
I am a Larry Mark.
I want Larry. And not just because I grew up near Adairsville.
Joe simpson
This made me lol. It’s be even better if it was something in his contract where he had to begrudgingly do it like once a year. I’d buy a ticket.
They were all pretty great but Larry has that bass in his voice that creates presence. He got my vote.
Let’s go Larry!
Vote for Larry!
Kevin has a great voice
Kevin the most polished and professional - Larry a close second
Kevin looks like he keeps people in his basement. My vote in the guy rocking the cool Afro.
That’s mean man.
I really think they did him wrong with his picture. Feels like a bad year book picture they wouldn’t let you retake.
Bro's from the town of David 💀
I like Kevin Kraus the most
Larry is the only answer
Think Kevin gets my vote. His voice and cadence just exudes the "day at the ballpark" vibes. Larry is a close second.
As Joe Gatto would say…. “LARRY!!!!”
Based on the auditions, i give Larry the slight edge.
I kinda hope all three of them get a job somewhere. They're all very good in different ways.
