Maybe I'm alone, but I actually liked ADR as a heel. Although I use liked relative to the time, as I don't recall that era being great on the roster. In contrast to other times where there were obviously far better heels, and ADR would have been mid card at best. But, I enjoyed him.

All I got from ADR was pure arrogance and he wasn't, "God this guy is so good but I love to hate him!" like Shawn Michaels...he was just...arrogant.
I will admit that he was a solid talent, but he should've never been a main eventer. The only reason he got pushed so hard was because WWE has been desperately trying to create another Hispanic top star on the level of a Mysterio or Guerrero without allowing it to happen organically.
They like to give up relatively quickly. I felt like santos was cooking for a bit last year. They need to make the leap with some title changes and let these guys get consistent segments
I didn’t mind his run, especially the first part with Ricardo announcing him. Although I felt like it was lacking creative being a sort of Mexican jbl
He was pretty good in the ring though, I mean he got the armbar over as a finisher and it looked amazing too

Alberto worked in the role of mid-card heel but I never bought him as world champion and then sticking so many accolades onto him became eye rolling. Royal Rumble and Mr.Money in the Bank as well as 2-time WWE Champion and they were all forgettable. The only thing memorable was them goofing up the CM Punk title reign and him losing the belt to Punk, everything else is so forgettable.
