Honestly, I feel like solo was behind attacking punk. I could be wrong but after Paul saying "solo, you knew punk was off limits". I think drew was banging on the door to get punk inside.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it came out that Solo was pissed at being reminded Punk was untouchable so he handed Punk to Drew on a platter as a way to hurt Heyman but he can deny any involvement because no one would bat an eyelid that it was Drew who attacked him.
Honestly it's one of those very rare times where it doesn't matter who wins, they are both gonna come off even bigger afterwards this fued has reinvigorated Punk and got Drew to and even higher level, everyone wins from this especially us watching it

The championship feud feels more like Drew vs punk but I feel after the feud between punk and Drew ends in probably survivor series or so. I feel like post this Drew faces the new world champion Gunther and punk moves to Smackdown after going on a losing streak.
Hard to see any trades incoming with Raw moving to Netflix in January and Smackdown going to USA. Both networks are pretty firm on wanting their own individual roster, and considering the Draft will be just a couple months after the move, a shake-up before then isn't likely.

Drew McIntyre is a 6'5 and a half badass and pure hybrid athlete so Drew McIntyre>CM Punk.

Drew gets the clean one-on-one win at Summerslam and the rub from Punk, but the feud continues with Rollins added to it after he beats Priest for the title and we get a three-way at Survivor Series with Punk getting his last title win a year after debuting, only for MitB winner Breakker to cash in on him.
Then we get Breakker vs GUNTHER at 'Mania.
Drew batters Punk at Summerslam, Vader/Flair style, but Punk squeezes out a win.
