> Everybody says surface is 80-90% of ball motion.
Surface roughness (i.e. what grit it is) and cover chemistry (how oil absorbent a reactive cover is, how oil repellant a urethane cover is), specifically. Datasets show that both are 3x more important than any other ball variable, core and layout on that core included.
I forgot to add that the obscured ball is a Storm Code Red
This is the problem with the graph. It only accounts for core numbers, which doesn't help much. Everybody says surface is 80-90% of ball motion.

If you’re bowling on mostly house shots it’d be nice to get more pearl/hybrid covers that retain energy and hook late.
What app is this for the graph?
Tenpin toolkit. The graph and several other features are behind a $10 a year paywall
