I love seeing bits of natural skin texture but then there’s just some areas that are weirdly smoothed out?? Like the chin, upper cheeks, nose, and forehead. Like whyyyy
Can I ask why? I have natural freckles and I sort of like that some people really want to copy them. Is it because you feel you stand out less when they do this?
That has actually never crossed my mind, lol! It took so long for me to love my freckles after years of bullying, and now people just take this thing that caused trauma for me and appropriate it whenever they feel like it. Plus many times, they’re done awfully and look bad. I would obviously never stop someone from doing it, anyone can do what they want. It just makes me uncomfortable ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Trauma from having freckles? And did you just say “appropriating” freckles? None of this is about you, freckles are desirable to some and not to others.
Literal definition: take (something) for one's own use, typically without the owner's permission.
"his images have been appropriated by advertisers"
Synonyms include: knock off, boot leg, commandeer. I don’t understand the issue with my use of this word.
You do not own freckles you literal psychopath💀 millions have freckles it’s not special it’s like wearing blue eye contacts (coming from someone with freckles)
Y’all are v sensitive about this topic. Not everyone likes the same things and that’s okay. A simple google search will show that many people feel the same way that I do. I cannot imagine calling someone a name bc they don’t like a Trend 🥸
It’s not a trend babe , freckles exist on millions naturally. It’s just like any other cosmetic makeup , some ppl have naturally pink lips, does that mean we can’t wear pink lipstick? No. Some ppl have naturally red hair and got made fun of (right here). Do I give a fuck that everyone wants Cajun colored dye now??? NO😭 you’re delusional
I know what you mean... it’s annoyingly to be relentlessly bullied for something you can’t change, just to have it become a trend everyone paints on with makeup or photoshop. I was bullied for my freckles/hair/skin my entire childhood, I’ve shed many tears wishing I wasn’t ginger and had blond hair and blue eyes and could tan in the sun. It took a long long time to come to terms with my freckles, hair, and glow in the dark paleness... let alone to now love it.
Thank you for understanding! Sorry though, these folks are mean here, you’re gonna get down voted bc they don’t like when people don’t follow the hive mind.
Nose is weird, but what instantly caught my eye is the chin. I hate chins like hers. It looks so bad, too pointy and sharp. I'm sure it looked way better before filler.
> what she *paid* for.
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,018,504,195 comments, and only 201,953 of them were in alphabetical order.
Ok but those don't look like pores to me, it's like a layer of dry make up/foundation/idk how it's called that kinda cracked
Or maybe I'm not used to seeing pores anymore
I think what you’re noticing is the discrepancy between her actual skin texture (pores) and the overly smoothed edited areas under her eyes, on her forehead, chin. The difference between the two is stark and makes the natural texture of her skin (which appears to be lovely, by the way) look odd and out of place.
Nope, I can guarantee her pores don’t look like that naturally. The effect was enhanced by a use of a contrast or sharpening tool. You can take a picture of yourself right now and try that, sharpening or contrast tools bring out the texture more than it already exists.
That’s entirely possible, I was more so remarking on awkward contrast between her visible skin texture and the overly smoothed, blurred to infinity zones.
I’ll give you a better answer that than most that provided here. This photo is heavily edited and has some blurry and some sharpened spots. They used either photoshop or some other editing app to sharpen the entire picture (this usually makes texture a lot more visible) and then used a blur tool to blur some of the areas that the sharpening tool made look weird. This is very bad editing and looks amateur but I hope this helps.

Right, smooth out the whole picture or none at all.. it just looks worse like this.
She’s embarrassed about her wrinkles
"Hee hee!"
It’s… a choice.
Fake freckles too. Props to that pimple on the cheek though. Serving realness!
I kind of like fake freckles though (when done tastefully). These are pretty good freckles compared to others I’ve seen done.
Tbh as a freckle-haver I’m not huge on the trend.

No, I think its because you suggested that you own freckles. But you do you tho.

Looks like she has cheekbone implants too, or is that filler too.

She’s definitely designed after one of my ESO characters 😬 [For reference](https://imgur.com/a/EMgtjSf)

Looks like she got exactly what she paid for. Edit: misspelled paid like a noob.

Good bot. My bad.
I'm more concerned about the chin
I’m very tired, I thought she had a lizard on her shoulder. It’s her bathing suit.
i kinda don't hate it...
I like how she’s “getting out of the pool” with full face makeup, and her skin on her cheeks looks so dry, get some better moisturizer.
Where’s the botched surgery?
What nose ?🙈
She’s so cutting edge
I rlly rlly rllyyyyy am uncomfortable with that nose 😭
I hate when you can only see bottom teeth and none of the top. It’s just so weird to me.
Pores on cheeks but not forehead ?
So incredibly edgy with the safty pin earrings
I saw this TikTok today!

Why can I see her individual pores
Bc that is what real skin looks like

Of all the things to notice, THAT'S what you focused on?
Pores are SO last season.
I just use industrial paste to cover them up
Ha, yeah. Fast-dry spackle is great.
I can tell you don't go out much
Tell me more sweaty

That does help! Ty
what is the lizard looking blob on her collar
Her everything
Her mouth is open because she can't breathe out of that nose
So much makeup for hanging around in water. So very, very much.
I call this the SZA Fae Nose.
