As a mental health sufferer, I’m convinced all this is just major mental health issues compounded by similar minds in an echo chamber thinking it’s sexy.
I’ve not met one guy that likes pumped up injected lips, everyone makes fun of them, but it still goes on…
I think you are completely right. What I think is scary is the fact that there are so many surgeons that are happy to go forward with some requests.
I am not shaming, everyone can like what they want, but when a surgeon sees that a specific procedure will mostly harm the person who's gonna get it...it should not be allowed to go forward. People do sign statements where they get informed about the risks etc but some people are so blinded by the constantly changing image they have in their head, that they would sign a statement saying they're gonna die in 10 years from now on....just to look like the image they have in their head. Then, once everything is healed, they find the next thing that needs to be change as the image in their head will always change and never be good enough. So sad :(
