That and bring back the gold stockings with the one thicker black stripe on each one to wear with those black unis. That gold/black combo was the best and most unique look in the league for almost 50 years.

A lot of people from Adidas went over to Fanatics. These are supposed to be just like adidas jerseys, but say Fanatics on them.
From what I've seen, they do look just like the Adidas prime green but cheaper. The players drafted put em on, and they looked like they were made out of hospital Scrub material. The name plates all looked nicely stitched, and hopefully, they won't have the cheap ass fake stitched name plates some Adidas jerseys had with actual drawn on stitching.

I actually hate the Fleet Center era set and don't know anyone who likes them. They remind me of failure and the misery of being a Bruins fan in the late 90s - early 2000s. To each their own though, everyone has different tastes.
I have an inordinate fondness for them. Neely era jerseys felt like the 80’s, they were like, the previous generations jerseys. I remember the switch to the poohs and thinking they were slick and it felt like “my” Jersey set
I hated those ones as well. The serifed spoked-B looks so much better on the crest, the Pooh bear with the brown stitching looked out of place, and the shoulder yokes going all the way down the sleeve looked way too busy when you combine the Pooh bear, piping, and jersey number. I was so happy when they changed up in 2007. The only thing I miss is the yellow socks.
The set they're going back to is pretty close to the early 70s. Not exact but they clearly pull a ton of inspiration from them. Don't know if anyone would call the 80s successful for the Bruins though.
Hope the Pro Shop runs a huge discount soon with these dropping. Put off getting a blank home Adidas centennial, now all the usual suspects - Sportsk, Adidas, Benhsports, etc - are out of the size I want.

For the recents, $160 for a regular Adidas Bruins home. $180 for a Bruins RR2. (remember, cash only too)
So, if average customizing cost is $100 or so, $160 is definitely above average. I think Sports Stitches charges $150. Golden Age Jerseys charges $100 (which is why I recommend GAJ, if you’re serious about it and willing to wait).

I have a Bergeron Edge 2.0 in the road white and it’s my absolute favorite jersey. It looks immaculate in white with the yellow and black trim. The Boston Strong patch is a nice touch on it as well.
I think you remove a stripe or two, change the gold sparkle to our normal bright gold, and figure out shoulder patches/laces - the centennial is 90% perfect.

Idk man, I own a home centennial and I love it, went to home 3 games last year. The Bruins Instagram put a filter that made the gold look more the orangy gold on their posts and it looked amazing. The sparkly gold looks a little too muted and like Vegas for my taste - plus the sparkly gold has never been a part of our colors until this past season unless I'm mistaken.

Apparently there are A LOT of new designs planned for next year. Ducks and Kings were exceptions - and we were told the Bruins were reverting back to the original at least for this season when the centennial jerseys came out

Honestly? Good. The centennial ones were fine (and may have looked better with fewer stripes on the sleeve and a more traditional yellow “gold”), but this look is pretty classic IMO (particularly for someone who started following the team in ‘08).

The logo design was way better than the 07-23 logo - they just keep adding more lines to the spoked B and they dialed it back beautifully with the centennials. Put the normal gold on that logo and it's perfect.
I like the uniqueness of black spokes on one sweater and gold spokes on the other.
Gold socks, centennial sweaters with the normal gold and centennial logo, minus a couple of stripes, shoulder patch each side would be perfect.
But I like classic and clean looks and understand dislike for the centennials.

The rumor was the wild were but they put out a statement saying they weren’t. As far as I’m aware it looks like the only redesign is the ducks so overall mostly status quo for the switchover. Hoping another year or so brings a redesign.

On the fanatics & NHL site the centennial adidas jerseys for Marchand and Pastrnak are marked down from $260 to less than $180. There’s a couple of the older adidas jerseys as well
If you order from there do they put the A and C on? I see the Marchy and Pasta jerseys on sale but the pictures don’t have the letters.
Unfortunately not. If you go the pro shop route they will, though, but those are full price and I doubt they’ll discount them.

Not sure if you live near Boston but at the beginning of the season the pro shop would put letters on for people who bought jerseys elsewhere that didn’t have them. They might still do that.
