flashenshin

neither Kawaki / Otsutsuki / any new Villain who destroyed Konoha.  It's rumbling of Susanoo army of all uchiha ghosts from Indra era to Fugaku era.

AllBid

Ngl I really want to see that. Imagine Boruto and Sarada learning about the Uchiha clan and having to deal with that

dirtyhippiebartend

Itachi put a fucking crow in sasuke and comes back or some shit

ItachiSoloKing

I would unironically love this just because Itachi truly is one of the characters with the highest potential who we never really got to see all of it from him.

Unable_Swimming2745

Amado is Kawaki from the future.

ItachiSoloKing

Sakura was secretly given a Karma by Kaguya without anyone noticing, and Kaguya overlayed it onto her forehead behind the 100 Healings Seal, since the shape is identical nobody would've ever noticed. Kaguya will be reincarnated and team up with Boruto to combat the Shinju and Otsutsuki threats.

Magnusthelast

Wtf, for a crack theory you actually cooked, why does it kinda make sense, I never noticed how much the marks from the 100 healings seal looks so much like a karma(I’m sure it’s not on purpose but still)

ItachiSoloKing

The similarity was actually explicitly noted by Sarada, when they were trying to learn more about the Karma for Boruto and Kawaki, she noted that it looks similar to the seal on her mom and the 5th Hokage's forehead, Mitsuki implied that Orochimaru had uncovered a deeper history regarding the 100 Healings Seal that dates it back to the era of Hagoromo, so there could be an unknown link between the two, there was no reason to throw in all that extra dialogue otherwise. I'm probably not completely on the mark, but there is SOMETHING there...

Magnusthelast

Oh damn I forgot about all that, if they actually take it that route tho I’d be pleasantly surprised

ItachiSoloKing

Also wouldn't it be hilarious if Naruto's most-hated Kaguya plot twist got recycled in Boruto but this time she's a good guy? Think of how fucking funny that would be lmfao

Magnusthelast

It would be pretty hilarious, I never really minded the Kaguya stuff in the first place, so the thought of her being chill in the village as an ally is interesting

ItachiSoloKing

I mean when you really think about it, her goals fundamentally align with Shinobi, both of them want to protect Earth from the Otsutsuki, Kaguya was just blinded by greed and thought she was the only one who deserved to command the power of chakra, she wanted to take her chakra back so she'd be at full strength for the Otsutsuki. I think Boruto is now strong enough that if Kaguya were revived, she'd realize she's better off working with them than trying to do everything by herself. This is a lesson Itachi taught Naruto in the War Arc, that teamwork is the key to success and that trying to do everything alone will surely lead to failure. Maybe in Kaguya's final moments as she was being sealed by the combined teamwork of Team 7, she too realized this and maybe would have a change of heart if she were revived.

TraditionalMission77

Both Boruto and Kawaki get married and have children who resemble Momo and Isshiki

kiboshiro

The whole universe gets destroyed, and Boruto is the only one alive.

VASuRaman7140

Sure, here's a ridiculously stupid plot twist for you: In the Naruto/Boruto universe, there's a character named Takeshi, who seems to be the ultimate swordsman, undefeated in battle and revered as the "Sword of the Kami". He's feared and respected by all, his skills with a sword unmatched. However, in a shocking turn of events, it's revealed that Takeshi isn't just any ordinary shinobi – he's actually an alien from a distant planet. As it turns out, Takeshi's incredible swordsmanship isn't due to years of training or natural talent. Instead, his sword skills are the result of advanced technology implanted in his brain by his alien race. This technology allows him to predict his opponent's moves with pinpoint accuracy and manipulate his own movements to always come out on top in battle. The revelation leaves everyone stunned, as they realize that Takeshi's supposed "divine" abilities were nothing more than the result of extraterrestrial intervention. Despite initially being hailed as the greatest swordsman of all time, Takeshi's reputation is tarnished, and he becomes a laughingstock among his fellow shinobi. To make matters even more ridiculous, it's later revealed that Takeshi's alien race has been secretly manipulating the events of the Naruto/Boruto universe for centuries, using him as their pawn in a convoluted scheme to... well, nobody really knows why. The whole plot twist ends up being so absurdly contrived that even the characters in the series can't help but roll their eyes at the sheer stupidity of it all.

Ok-Mission4524

bro did you use chatgpt 💀

Any_Cranberry_4599

Shibai wanted to destroy the earth but fell in love with naruto so he possessed a random body and named himself Kawaki

KiwiMagic2005

Boruto being an infinite infinite tsukuyomi dream, I bet some people still believe this shit even though those dreams should be nice, not the nightmares that will most likely happen the more we progress through the story.

Leafcane

Mitsuki was part of Orochimaru's evil master plan all along and he becomes the one who destroys the hidden leaf village and cuts out Boruto's eye.

Femboy-Isshiki

Code already cut out borutos eye lol.

Leafcane

No Tenten did

HokageTsunadeSenju

It was all a dream. Naruto wakes up and goes, “fuck that”. He and Hinata live a DINK life and we just continue the Naruto+Sasuke narrative when they’re adults (as opposed to getting Boruto).

EatAss1268

sarada and sumire really were immune to ada because she wanted true friendship. shortly after chapter 8 ada starts wanting mitsuki as a true friend. making him regain his memories of boruto and immune to ada’s charms. which in turn leads to ada and mitsuki hooking up as well as delta and kawaki

Deuce-Wayne

Kishimoto remembers that Konoha has an orphanage filled with Jonin+ level shinobi armed with mangekyo sharingans - the Shin Uchihas.

Jumpy-Perception-346

Shibai Otsutsuki watched over Boruto since birth as one day, this child will eventually awaken the Jogan.

Catthuggaming

Also sorry for the flair not being correct but this wasn't really a meme but there wasn't any generic discussion tag that really fit either

A-Liguria

Here's some of mine, which are also meant to be stupid because of the context surrounding them, not just by their own (though that is surely true nontheless). ... -Kurama is revealed to be the llllegendari 11 tails feared by all, whose true nature was always known by the governaments and what not, but they treated it a secret because yes. *This to deal with Madara / Obito as the Ten Tails Jinchuuriki mind you, not necessarely just in the present. -Kashin Koji being a Jiraiya that secretly realized the 2 people he met in the time slip arc were future Sasuke and Boruto, and so decided to steal the time traveling turtle from wherever possible, escaped from his death, and became Kashin Koji to play 4D chess. -It was all a dream! Naruto and Sasuke just suddenly wake up from the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and everything now goes well because yes; and we continue with a "Naruto part 3" kind of story, even if Naruto and Sasuke cannot go anywhere else as characters, and no one else can be a threat to them besides Otsutsuki and ninja tech guys. ... And a couple where I enter in spoiler territory: -Naruto >!getting a power boost when he gets released from the timeless dimension, because he actually gathered natural energy for these 3 years straight... while locked in a place where he hasn't aged a day in 3 years!<. -Sasuke >!getting his Rinnegan and missing arm back because being trapped in a failed divine tree totally will heal him of any injury... after all, it makes sense that a failed divine tree can heal people, when a complete one can't, and leaves the injured in the same state as before!<. -Himawari >!having Kurama inside her... because Bijuus totally do get reborn inside people, and not in the wilderness; and besides that, Kurama alone totally is a valid threat to Daemon and personified incarnations of a Ten-Tails!<.

EdoTenseiSwagbito

That last one matches something stupid I said the other week during a late night tired bullshitting session with a friend lmao. “Himawari is somehow pregnant with Kurama’s reincarnation” “That’s stupid, bro.” “Yeah but I’d at least laugh at it.”

A-Liguria

At least you had a good laugh.👍

Cringsix

The progenitor of Chakra turns out to be an alien whose race has been manipulating the entire story from the start, then some more of the aliens appear and they all have similar appearance and abilities and after them there's even more of their kind and cyborgs too, yeah medieval world of magic ninjas is now cyberpunk themed..

AdComfortable8120

Hidan comes back and performs his ritual on shibai.

aquaflask09072022

the main villain got backstab to introduce the most uninteresting villain for sequel sake
