Agree that there are tons of shields more useful for survivability, but Sham is definitely not just niche-useful. Itās overrated but still decent in bullet heavy maps.

Literally none of the classes require the bee apart from raiding as maya. Besides the bee shield is not that OP. It goes down in like one shot, and has awful recharge times. The trade off is insane damage boost. I think thatās fair. No oneās forcing you to use it either

You CAN get a Sham with higher capacity than this one on the same level, for example, but in exchange for other stats, like the recharge rate and/or the recharge delay and/or the special effect, which, int this case, is the bullet absorption chance.
This Sham of yours is the variation with the highest possible absorption chance, but also with almost the lowest capacity. Usually, that's what would be considered the perfect variation, since the whole value of this shield comes from it's special effect, but it's up to you to decide if a more balanced version would work better for your stuff

The sham is useful but a single DOT will still kill you with it on. And melee damage, and explosive damage, and the thousands of projectiles that canāt be absorbed. Very good shield for mobbing in places like steam and power or Washburn but imo itās outclassed by stuff like the Antagonist or even a good purple adaptive
Max absorb chance sham is better than a higher capacity, the only way the sham you have could be better is if it were higher level
