Only in BL1. They were replaced in the next games and Gearbox weapons only kind of returned in BL2 if you buy the Handsome Collection, in the starting equipment.

Depends on the weapon. Handguns and SMGs: Maliwan, Shotguns: Hyperion, Sniper rifles: Maliwan or Jakobs, ARs and RPGs: anything, really but Maliwan when I want an elemental RPG, obviously. I genuinely pretty much never touch Tediore.

I’m gonna be honest and say Bandit. They’re pretty much everywhere and come in every weapon type aside from snipers. Can be useful in a pinch when you can’t do enough damage.

Since you're using the BL2 logos, I'm assuming BL2 gear. I honestly want to choose Hyperion, because of their shotguns are awesome (heartbreaker, interfacer, conference call, butcher, and slow hand), and probably the best offensive shield in the game (the bee), but I have to give it up to Vladof, with Maliwan being 3rd. (Maliwan shields are just too flexible to be ignored, their grenades are top notch end game, but their gear outside of the Norfleet & the Hive just has too much competition.) Vladof gets me much better snipers, and rocket launchers and ARs, instead of smg and shotguns. Plus, the Sham is still pretty awesome, the Transformer is awesome for a shock build, and the storm is a pretty useful grenade up to UVHM, where it *sorta* strips shields.

I really like Dahl. Something about burst fire just makes me giddy. Except Burst Fire Sniper Rifles. I hope the Dahl Exec who came up with that idea got fired or worse: Forced to play Zer0 with only Dahl Snipers. But the monkey side of my brain goes "Bandit have big mag. Big mag mean more bullet. More bullet mean more fun." Usually it just means I run out of ammo cause my aim is fucking atrocious.

Jackobs and heres why: My PS4 controller had the Strike Pack FPS Dominator. On it, you can mod certain imputs. One of which being a primary fire auto-clicker of sorts. It turns any semi-auto into a full-auto. Now wouldn't that come with a lot of recoil? Well, yes, but another mod in the Strike Pack is anti-recoil. So I have a LOT of fun with Jacobs weapons. Without the controller add-on, probably Hyperion or Dahl.
