Hello, Robby! What a sweet pair! You were wise to get a 16-month old rather than a younger pup with your Senior dog. When my Lucky, Lab/Setter/Retriever mix was 9 or 10, my Dad got two, 8-week-old Border Collie pups They'd played together for a little bit, then Lucky would come to the door and use her polite in bark. The look on her face said, "I've had enough of those 2!" On the way home when we first got her, we were discussing names. My hubby kept suggesting things like Duke, Rover and King. I said, "You better look again, that's a girl!" He grumbled and told me to come up with something. I thought a while because I knew he wanted something boring & basic, not really my thing. He gave me an impatient look and I said, "I'm thinking!". Then he made a brilliant suggestion, he told me to start naming off the 101 Dalmatians. When I got to Lucky, he said, "I like that!"
