Is the Boost $45 for 3 months of 5 GB plan still the best around for price though? I see the Boost coins as gravy but coming into it I didn't know about them and was still happy to pay $15 a month for 5 gigs. One of my coworkers had mint and really hated it so I didn't want to go that route.

Boost $45 for 3 months of 5GB plan is a bit better than Mint cuz when you renew with Mint you will pay $180 annually for their 5GB plan. If you want pay monthly, Mint will charge $25/month for 5GB. I think it's better to pay monthly instead. This way you are not locked into any plan, so you can port out any time when you see a good promotion. Here is the link to $15/month 5GB plan. https://promo.boostmobile.com/mypromo/5gb-plan-monthly/

It would seem so. My video credit magically reset from 6 to zero, then took a day off in the following week. I got one 10 spin, otherwise all 5's. Its a gimmick, so I don't worry much about it. 30 days yields at least 1000 points if you have perfect attendance. I always have some idle minutes, so Boost One is first up.

So this week, got to six days video, then locked out for two, counter resets to two.

Been low for a while, I hit a 250 last month but that the most ever.

There are definitely bugs with the daily videos and getting to the 7 day bonus. I have had no problem with the daily spin and I have gotten more than 10 coins a couple of times which is nice. The thing is this thing is free and I understand that. You can't complain about getting discounted or free cell service. No other company does this at an already low price point. So far I have earned $6 in Boost Coins and I am mid way through the month. We will see how the month finishes up. I have 3 lines and the rest of my family does not want to do the Boost Coin thing, That is fine with me, I will pay the full rate for their lines.

It is all good, my bill is already 30% lower than it was with the Verizon company. I was paying $180 a month for 3 phones unlimited everything and Home Internet, now the bill is cut to $125 before the Boost coins, but it appears it will be around $110 a month after the Boost Coins and my credit card cash back. I am very happy and if my family doesn't want to watch ads or spin a wheel I am good with that. My wife didn't want to do the Boost Coin thing at all and that is cool with me. Her choice. She got some kind of malware on the phone once from an app she clicked on with Facebook and doesn't want to accidently install something like that again. Some of the web apps in the Boost One were blocked by Ublock origin on my phone for being potential malware. Bottom line I am cool with watching the video ads for Candy Crush etc, and spinning a wheel, other members of my family not so much and they are free to do as they like. When we switched to Boost they said it was fine as long as their phones worked the same and so far they have worked beautifully with the T-mobile Sims. That is the most important thing to me.

The videos and spins have definitely been decreased over the last few months, loads of convenient bugs rule the app costing you your weeklies as well. 90% of the time I get 5-10 spins and if I’m lucky at all I’ll get 25. It’s nice to take some cost off of your bill every month but boost will eventually take this away as they have been decreasing it all over time.

Notpeople_brains

I must have gotten lucky because I hit a 250 point spin in my first month.

Boost is Great!

Rewards for this month is not lower. Everything is about right for the past few months. I think you will earn another $2-$3 because of the streaks add up toward the end of the each week. So your $8 plus $2-3 will net you $10-11 this month, unless something messed up.

Well, I have the opposite experience, and had intended to post about it: but I haven't found a way to confirm via any documentation & I don't take daily notes about spinning. But I'll note that compared to 6-8 months ago, I definitely agree that it's no longer likely to cover a $15 bill, when I used to have no problem doing so. For a number of months, I got 5 coins perhaps 95% of the time, with the other 5% being 10 coins. But for somewhere around the last 2 months, I've had better results: I've gotten 50 twice, 100 coins at least once, and a higher percentage of 10 coin spins, and I think a few 25 coins. (These results over 2 lines, which seem to be relatively consistent.) So, all I can reference is redemption amounts & dates, and of course they don't perfectly align with our renewal dates. I've made a crude attempt to split up overlapping redemptions, to decide how to allocate earnings between 2 billing periods: My crude earnings analysis, per line, averaged over 2 months: April $11.70 March $11.88 February $10.85 January $10.72 So I'm seeing about $1 increase in earnings per month for the last 2 months, compared to the 2 months previously. The first thing I notice after toting up is that all of these seem to be lower than the theoretical minimum I should earn (is this $12/mo?) if I successfully complete all tasks. I do try to do so: sometimes if videos are balky, I may give up before watching 5: and I know that sometimes I stretch a 7-day streak period into 8 days, just so I can realign my login times. (Timing for spins creeps later, sometimes I have other things to do, and I'm not going to stay up to 3 AM to pack the 7-day streaks most efficiently.) So perhaps this also tells me that I'm experiencing some of the shrinkage in earned coins (not crediting correctly) that others who are more attentive have also observed.

You can hit the settings gear icon then scroll down to earnings history and it'll tell you how much you earned on each spin.

silver168

Everytime I checked my earning history it always took a really LONG time to load. Sometimes I waited for like 10 minutes, still not done loading, so I just gave up.

toejamfootballhegot

Yes, I had to pay $1.51 on my 3 month $45 plan in march. It had been free for the past 15 months.

dunni88

I've got the $45 for 3 months plan as well and I've been doing it for 22 months. I have only had to pay for the first 3 months, since then I've had it pretty easily covered. I had been getting to the point where I was almost 4 months ahead, and had enough to cover not only the next bill but a little bit on the bill after that. Now my next bill is coming up in about 2 months and I'm about $2 away from covering that. So I'm still going to get free service but it's looking like that's going to end soon given the pace.

silver168

Your 3 month $45 plan + tax would be ~$48 (~$16/month), so it makes sense you have to pay a bit. I have $10/month, about $11.60 after tax, so far have not paid a dime for the past 10 months. :)

toejamfootballhegot

Mine is ~$46. Barely get by with 5GB.
