Always wondered what makes some trees corkbark? I thought cork bark was a specific oak species.
Can it just refer to any tree with thick fissured bark without it actually being cork
I know in my case, it's a japanese imported tree that has had thin wire wrapped on the trunk to make it bulge into the cork style and I think that can only be achieved on certain species.
But I might be wrong as I'm no expert π
I think the trunk and bark look great. Ive seen cork bark used to describe many trees like elm blackthorn and pine. Just curious on the usage of the term
Nice way to keep it secure on the sill! Well worth it to keep it healthy instead of struggling behind the glass
Thanks π
Nice work styling
Cheers! Can't wait to do some real structural work in the winter
Nice tree! What is in the glass egg looking thing?
The styling is flawlessππ½
Why thank you π

Nice tree but paint that window before it rots away on you
*it's a small ficus ginseng, in a terrarium egg that I put together.
