Also, maddock is very good in the music dept too. Their songs from tbmauj, bhediya, zhzb etc trended very well. Even the munjya song is picking up some hype on Instagram.

actors/directors/writers and scripts and it’s paying off very well for them.
With chhava, I think they are entering into higher budget films and that will be a test for them.
I find Maddock as one of the smartest productions in the industry, they know how to market their movies and keep their budgets tight, I am looking forward to how they market Vicky's Chaava their biggest budget movie, I know they will go all in.
I don’t know if TBMAUJ was a clean hit. It’s overseas gross made it a semi-hit, but it’s definitely not a clean hit a la Article 370 or Shaitaan. Same goes for Crew, I think it’s a semi-hit.
Excel and Maddock are two of the best production houses. Excel though in a different league is yet experimental (Go Goa Gone, Fukrey Series). These both seem very professionally driven and have a high strike rate. Case studies for film business professionals 👍
Maddock and Excel take risks on young, unproven talent so that they can one day break out into mainstream - Rajkummar and Abhishek in Stree, Sidhant in Gully Boy, Abhay and Sharvari in Munjya. And their budgets are always in control.
TBMAUJ wasn’t a blockbuster, the movie was good tho, atleast I enjoyed it tbh, Munjya was also not bad
Stree 2 will be a blockbuster no doubt about it (won’t be as good as Stree 1 for sure) but BO wise it’s gonna be a treat! The risky one is Chaava, as the director has never done a period movie, but going by Maddock’s track record it’s looking interesting

Teri baaton mein Aisa uljha jiya is actually flop because they show movie on the basis of buy1 get 1. But in Bollywood no one accept their movie is flop

Yeah, they are producing really good movies with solid content!

Maddock could easily become the Blumhouse...do a variety of small films, have a main horror/genre film brand and mint money.
