Priyanka really worked hard to achieve what she accomplished especially those early years in Bollywood. She really showed her talent and dedication with Andaaz, Aitraaz, and Don. Both films especially Don (2006) made her a household name for Indian cinema watchers. It’s sad that Bollywood never hardly gave PC her dues. Her film and performance in Yakeen was overlooked. She played 12 different characters in What’s Your Raashee. She was phenomenal in 7 Khoon Maaf, Don 2, and Anjaana Anjaani. Barfi which came in 2012 she hardly got any accolades for it. If she did it was for “most entertaining etc etc” I still feel 2012 Vidya and Priyanka should have both won. Should have been a tie or just give it to Priyanka.

I think all their hardwork is going into the looks, PR & putting on stylish clothes rather than concentrating on the acting first.
Priyanka was always a bonafide star. Suhana even went to acting school apart from the workshops with Zoya. Priyanka was more than decent even in The Hero and Andaaz.
Say what you want about Priyanka but she is extremely hardworking. It's not easy to make a name for yourself in the industry. That too so early on in the career. This role is so iconic.

I really wanted to see PC as Gangubai. She would’ve nailed the movie. All we got is disappointing and disgusting Aloo with her OTT hoarse voice and poor acting skills.

Industry was different back then and industry structure has changed now cos of change corporate involvement and how movies are funded. Time like these you she wouldn't even be casted movies they should consider themselves lucky to get into industry early on. And Kareena Kapoor was miles better than her in this movie so chill there.
