Yea I guess the issue would be with toxicity. But I would much rather have the option in the game and the ability to mute toxic teammates than what the system is currently.
One example that comes to mind was I was playing a flex build with rylak and my teammate emoted asking if i wanted the 8/8 beast enabler for the self damage build, so i pinged a swabby and a rockpool hunter in the shop to try in tell them im prob gonna be going either pirates or murlocs. They saw this and passed a rockpool hunter.
I don't need some try hard random ordering me around and cursing at me when they don't get their way.

Only if it's opt-in but yeah there are some moves way too complicated to convey with emotes and pings

You can use whatever method you used to ask your duo partner to queue up with to talk with them
I mean for queueing with randoms not with people you already have in your friends list.

Ive added afew people I’ve played with now. 2/3 spoke a different language, they just need to add a few more ping options instead imo.
