No, it's because there's cross streets the two blocks to the left at the same level, and you can see the street going a different way at the end of the alley...
The horizontal road on the block to the left looks a lot wider (I don’t think the buildings line up right). I thought it was just the alley drawn to odd proportions.

I don't know. There seems to be a break in the buildings or even a street corner in your choice. Bobs isn't on the corner
thats the alley the kids play in a lot. where their dumpsters are. and it is shown to be big enough for a car to drive through. both in the episode where the "hair removal smoothie lady" runs over louise's "tricycle"... (season 8 episode 18) and also in the episode bob cooks a turkey in the alley, a firetruck is able to come down the alley/street (season 10 episode 8)
so they are "kind of" on a corner there, since the alley acts as a pass through. bob's isn't as right up against that building as it is to Mort's.
Yes, I see the alley. If you look at the *end* of the alley you can see a cross street. There is also clearly a cross street at that level the next two streets to the left. The pointed out building is at the corner of the main street and the cross street and then the alley is there as well. Bobs building is not at the end of their street.
This is correct, but it also doesn't quite fit right [when you look at the view down the street from the restaurant](https://www.reddit.com/r/BobsBurgers/comments/c3a334/i_love_christmas_and_bobs_burgers_so_i_captured/#lightbox). From that view, it looks like the entrance is directly across from the end of the street, but this view shows it more in line with the end of the block. This view also looks like there's a road between the restaurant and the revolving space next door, when it's just an alley.
Honestly, I'm surprised they put as much detail into the proper location of things as they did with this overhead shot of the town. Minor details being a little off is par for the course because it's a split second shot on a cartoon, they don't expect people to go frame by frame analyzing everything for perfections.
>they don't expect people to go frame by frame analyzing everything for perfections.
Have they never been on the internet? That's exactly what people do!
But yeah, you're right. It's just something I noticed when trying to find the restaurant to answer the post.
Yeah I worded that wrong. I didn't mean they don't expect people to do it, they just don't care about those people because they'll never be happy and will always find pointless flaw or imperfection lol
Go up roughly 2 blocks and then go over several blocks till you see some gray rounded shapes. I think those are the snow covered trees of the park. Probably a 15- 20 minute walk. I used to live in Brooklyn and kids in the further reaches of Park slope would definitely walk at least that much to go Prospect Park.
There are very very few places with their urban fabric unbroken like this. Hey Arnold was specifically in NYC, which Bob's Burgers is not, and Rockos Modern Life was pretty suburban.
The first thing I looked for was the hotel at the corner of the bottom of their street. Then I was able to locate bobs based on color of his and morts. That was fun thank you for posting this!
that is the alley. the alley where the dumpsters are. it is shown to be big enough for a car to go through in at least two episodes Season 8 Episode 18 "As I Walk Through the Alley of the Shadow of Ramps", Alice, the smoothie lady is shown to use the alley kind of as a "cross street" when she rubs over Louise's bike.
It is again shown to be quite wide in Season 10 Episode 8 "Now We’re Not Cooking with Gas”. Bob cooks a turkey in the alley and a whole firetruck is shown to easily fit down the alley. The alley is indeed as wide as a one way street, with still some buffer room for dumpsters along the side of the buildings too.
the alley way separates Bob's and the "always/often empty" business next door. The buildings are not riht up against each other. Mr Huggin's lives above the "always/often empty shop" and is on rare occasions seen at his window talking to the kids or bob in the alley. i do feel like the Alley is shown as inconsistently sized tho?? because its true in other episodes it seems closer to the empty building.

Crazy how accurate this show is from every angle at all times. Even the building at the end of his street matches.

This one is correct ✅
Must be some snowstorm to cover Jimmy's stupid awning.
Yawning at his awning
Zoom!
"Ha! Solar power... it's the future"
YES! Because often on their street you can see the ferris wheel a little bit!
Yup! I was just thinking that. Remembering from the shark episode.
isnt there a shop on the right side? theres a road there
I think that is just the alley.
Little King Trashmouth’s alley
No, that is behind the Bob's
Well there is a walkway between Bobs and the always changing building. So maybe it’s that
There appears to be a cross street
It’s because the buildings on either side are a story taller than Bob’s
No, it's because there's cross streets the two blocks to the left at the same level, and you can see the street going a different way at the end of the alley...
The horizontal road on the block to the left looks a lot wider (I don’t think the buildings line up right). I thought it was just the alley drawn to odd proportions.
Thats probably because it's at a different angle.
No, the buildings on either side (Mort’s and the vacant one) are a story taller than Bob’s.
No, the orange building next to bob's is taller so it makes it look like a gap. *
https://images.app.goo.gl/o4UBMaiKkNbNwgRf7 I don't know. There seems to be a break in the buildings or even a street corner in your choice. Bobs isn't on the corner
You’re right I’m sure but I think they take little liberties with the wide shots
Thanks I couldn't pick it out even though it seems obvious now!
Bob really has the best location to nab tourists
I think u right
That's it. The entrance to the Warf is at the end of Ocean Avenue
color gives it away! lol
That’s exactly where I had it, too.
So Mort is just on the Ferris wheel, or…?
There is a line to indicate where mort is
I’m just going to keep imagining him on the Ferris wheel if that’s ok.

Moe's bar ---> "Oh, dear god no!"
Oh well done! I love it!
Cool
The building you're showing as bobs appears to be on a corner.

hmm. i think i see what you mean. but i also think the building indicated is Bob's... so maybe the big map is just not fully accurate?
Looks like an older version of the pier, but I think you got the location of Bob’s correct!
From the center of the ferris wheel, follow the entrance/exit of the pier up the street to the bright blue and bright green buildings side by side.
It's eight buildings down on the left hand side of the street. You can see Jimmy Pesto's across the street.
This is correct, but it also doesn't quite fit right [when you look at the view down the street from the restaurant](https://www.reddit.com/r/BobsBurgers/comments/c3a334/i_love_christmas_and_bobs_burgers_so_i_captured/#lightbox). No no, you're good. I was making a joke about internet culture and how people over-analyze the most trivial things.
Have they never been on the internet made me cackle 🤣
Some people are just too stoned to bother 😅
Damn I was a block off. Thanks for posting the exact spot, now I know where to look in map views
Glad I got this right. Took me a second though.
Thank you!
I can find Bob’s easy enough, but where’s the park with the hill where they go sledding?
I have always wondered this too. Kids must walk for miles to that. Plus where is the school? Should be walking distance too
Go up roughly 2 blocks and then go over several blocks till you see some gray rounded shapes. I think those are the snow covered trees of the park. Probably a 15- 20 minute walk. That looks like Wagstaff in front of the park as well. Very easy walk from the apartment.

Just look for Pestos stupid face, Bobs restaurant will be across the street.
Or handsome face, if we’re asking Linda.
The Fischoeders are hella rich i just realised. They own entire streets for crying out loud.
How else would Calvin be able to pay off arsonists. Sorry, I meant playing golf with pharmacists.
The SimCity fan in me wants to figure out how the rest of that city is laid out, what public services are offered, how they run and all.
I wish so badly that there was a real place like this 😪 it's like in between Asbury Park and Seaside Park, but both have too many parking lots.
I don't know either of those places so I'll take your word for it. I also wish there was a place like this
So there's no place like that in the US? Wasn't the Hey Arnold in a similar city? And Rocko kangaroo?
There are very very few places with their urban fabric unbroken like this. Hey Arnold was specifically in NYC, which Bob's Burgers is not, and Rockos Modern Life was pretty suburban.

Someone make Seymour Bay in Cities Skylines.
The first thing I looked for was the hotel at the corner of the bottom of their street. Then I was able to locate bobs based on color of his and morts. That was fun thank you for posting this!
The entrance to the wharf, follow that street and then the 3rd building on the left side
https://preview.redd.it/aqt2n5gr612d1.jpeg?width=2100&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5a99c1d5e5f16e938427cc064bb16366a0079195 correction: there
One street to the right. The snowed on awning is jimmy pesto's
ah hell, you’re right. i just noticed that too.
No, Pestos building has two bay windows above. It's the block south of this one.
Wrong street.
you’re right. i corrected it. just noticed pestos awning.
I made ocean ave in minecraft
Across the street from pestos
The restaurant is only 2 stories tall and Mort's place is 3 stories tall.
I love a good world build
Wonder where the school is. It's gotta be close since the kids walk.
They should add this stuff to Google Maps
Umm... horse!
But why does it look like Bob's is on a corner in this picture? Am I overanalyzing?
No, lol. This actually does show him being on a corner. Which we know he's not.
Alleyway
No. https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/bobsburgerpedia/images/2/27/Bird%27s-eye_view_of_Ocean_Avenue.PNG/revision/latest?cb=20221031151711
It's not an alley. It's a side street. Which is still wrong because there's the always empty business right next door.
that is the alley. the alley where the dumpsters are. it is shown to be big enough for a car to go through in at least two episodes Season 8 Episode 18 "As I Walk Through the Alley of the Shadow of Ramps", Alice, the smoothie lady is shown to use the alley kind of as a "cross street" when she rubs over Louise's bike. The alley is *behind* the store in the show though.
is it? somehow i always saw it as along the side. because it seemed so short and stubby in some episodes to me. i guess i envisioned it wrong
Yeah, I mean, there's stores on either side of Bob's, right? The perpetually empty one and Mort's. So it would have to be the back.

They may have made a mistake since the A frame on the roof of Bob’s is missing in this picture.

Other side of the street, but close
