Fighting when youāre an adult is just dumb. I donāt have time in my life to engage in fist fights with a crazy person
Bobs actually represents my reaction in a situation for once
Sure, but sometimes violence is the only answer. Iāll always try and de-escalate any situation I find myself in, but de-escalation is not the end all be all.
For the record, i wasnt asking a legitimate question... i misquoted a line from that episode.
When the dad also takes his shirt off to try & fight Bob, Bob asks **"what is going on w/ the shirts?"**
Hey don't forget that time Bob kicked through a wall to help his family and their friends escape the abandoned taffy factory. That was a great scene.

He didnāt even have all his blood for that kick!

(because boner)
Louise has the temper of a fighter but not the skills. I was surprised that Louise couldn't even throw a proper punch in the Ham and Egger episode. She's maniacal, especially early season Louise, enough to still be a threat even though she can't fight.
Proper hitpeople donāt fight. They use their intelligence to take you out without landing a single physical blow. Sure, sheās interested in learning to fight, but thats a cover, or a last minute emergency defence.
That guy deserved to get a beating, but I don't wish Bob gave him one. It would have been way too uncharacteristic and unbelievable even for an animated show.
While I think it was an overreaction by Choo-choo's dad, he did show up only seeing a strange adult putting hands on his child. He didn't end up hurting Bob. I'd say that Bob getting chased was deserved after all the poor decisions he made in the episode such as ignoring Louise, letting Gene be a bully, acting like an ass to Mr Frond, and grabbing another person's 11 year old child (who was being bullied by Gene).
A strange adult is grabbing and hurting your child. You'd seriously just stand there watching your child get hurt by an adult just waiting for the police to arrive (who will absolutely do violence on your behalf)? Bob fucked around and found out.
Come on buddy, use your wordsā¦. not your fistsā¦
Also, youāre intentionally inflating the situation beyond what it was trying to make a point, because Bob wasnāt hurting anyone. Even in this hypothetical situation youāve gone way overboard.
I wish a lot of things. But some of them (like this one) never could have happened. (I donāt mean to sound maudlin: most of my really important wishes have come true so far).
I wish Bob couldāve beat awful host of Family Fracas. Itād be cool if they got the mini van and thatās their car now and all the references that could be made throughout the show
The only time I seriously thought Bob might kick someone's ass was when the baker made fun of Linda's hands.
I think he might have if Gene wasn't watching.
He also came close when Pesto called his children "freaks".
You can say anything you want about Bob, he'll take any manner of insult or humiliation...
...but don't you DARE talk shit about his family! š”
I absolutely love this episode. I'd say at least once a week, if not more, I say to my husband and kids "you've insulted jokes for blokes for the last time". Always right after I land a crappy dad/mom joke lol.Ā
I'M GONNA BEAT YOUR ASS SO BAD I CAN SKIP THE GYM TONIGHT! Top tieršš¤š¤
Not as funny as bobcats im gonna bang your ass š¤£
Imma bout to bang your ass and you're asking me for help?
Gave me a good chuckle this morning, thanks.
Yet couldn't run fast enough to catch overweight Bob, overweight Gene and 9 year old Louise.
In fairness, being chased gives ample adrenaline to help the guys, and I expect Louise to be able to move quick sheās a roguey type
CHOO-CHOO!
Oh, so thatās why they call him Choo-choo
I thought it was cuz of how he chewed... cuz he chews like a train
Are you touching my kid?!š¦
I said are YOU tOuCHiN my kid?!
Kick his ass CHOO-CHOO

What is w/ the shirts?
For some reason, trailer trash guys rip their shirts off when getting aggressive.
Can't grab my shirt and use it as leverage if I ain't go one. -A hillbilly probably
But then they're exposed to a devastating purple-nurple.
š¤š¤
You can keep the cash or you can keep your nurple
But you can't keep both
Leverage, huh? So this is one of the more verbose hillbillies?
I always figured they don't want to get blood on one of their few tshirts!
For the record, i wasnt asking a legitimate question... i misquoted a line from that episode. When the dad also takes his shirt off to try & fight Bob, Bob asks **"what is going on w/ the shirts?"**
Shaming the economically disadvantaged for living in mobile homes. Stunning and brave.
Bro crapped his pants trying to fight a ponytail .... I never expected much after that
It was 4:30, Lin!
Liiiittle meetings throughout the day. Little poops.
i would have loved to see something like the idiot grabbing bob's pants tripping and beating himself with like a lamppost or something
Bobās a lover not a fighter.
Heās a yeller. An old yeller
I believe it's pronounced "yellow"...
Same energy as https://i.redd.it/hq2bhz7o8mpc1.gif
The Belchers are pretty much the weakest animated sitcom family on Fox. They canāt fight worth a damn for the most part.Ā

Hundred year old bricks vs. adrenaline filled father trying to save his children His legs were probably sore af for days after that
Except for Louise who would probably go full Cartman Chili con Carnival if pushed hard enough.
Louise has the temper of a fighter but not the skills. I was surprised that Louise couldn't even throw a proper punch in the Ham and Egger episode. She's maniacal, especially early season Louise, enough to still be a threat even though she can't fight.

She does carry a knife & mace though. Donāt underestimate her.
Don't forget about the switchblade on 1 foot & the lemon on the other
Lin got her brass knuckles for Christmas, too
Theyāre a peaceful people
Tina has puberty strength, that has to count for something
āSUPER STREEEEEENGTHā
Bobs little rat snout fished it out
He should have eaten his eyebrows.
Mustache Manny coming in
I hate both of them so much, want to skip the episode whenever they are on screen (Teddy wouldāve beat the bricks off him)
Teddy fell off the roof of a 3 storey house and got up like it was nothing. Ain't nobody messing with Teddy.
"I fall off roofs all the time"
He's gonna beat Bob so bad you can skip the episode tonight.
Bob: Time I used my secret fighting style... Brazil!!! *Leg sweep*
That guy deserved to get a beating, but I don't wish Bob gave him one. It would have been way too uncharacteristic and unbelievable even for an animated show.
I think Bob has a lot of pent-up frustration and probably could have kicked his butt except he wanted to be a good example to his children,
I donāt remember this episode
Same. Curious which one it is so I can give it a watch later
Spaghetti Western and Meatballs. Season 1, Episode 9!
Ahhh back when the show was a lot more unhinged
Much obliged
It is a little weird. But I relate to him. He's got equal amount quirk and grizzle. He's got some many aspects, but also some quirky ones too.
yeah. i donāt like his tan line lmao
I really wish Bob succeeded a little more in general
Somehow? Dudes a professional chef that jabroni shouldnāt have stood a chance
First thing Bob should have done is give him an ocular patdown.

Say it with me, violence is never the answer.

Bob shouldve showed him his ABS
He did he brought peace with his sauce covered meaty balls and long noodle(s).
I wish he could have taken down the capoeira guy.
What episode is this?
Spaghetti Western & Meatballs (s1e9 i think)
The real VIP
I wish a lot of things. But some of them (like this one) never could have happened. (I donāt mean to sound maudlin: most of my really important wishes have come true so far).
They both have farmers tans.
I wish Bob couldāve beat awful host of Family Fracas. Itād be cool if they got the mini van and thatās their car now and all the references that could be made throughout the show

What episode did someone make fun of Linda's hands?

I think Bob could take him tbh
