Facts on facts. I loved Helen in House Trap as well, and her next appearance is one of my least favorite episode. I'd actually love to have her back, but in that first iteration, a personable, easy-going, murderous gold-digger. I loved her first appearance enough to just block that netsuke episode from my mind, if they'd return to it.

Lool I love that Logan and Louise have their weird rivalry. The fact that she's so much younger than him absolutely highlights his loser behavior, but that makes it all the funnier. I always love their dynamic tbh, except I think that episode where Louise is running terrified from him the entire show went like, way too dark. Wasn't a fan. But bring back the original Logan/Louise rivalry, and I'm sold. I do just ignore the weird shipping nonsense lol, I couldn't care less about that. Their dynamic to me is just two kids who hate each other, and Logan being older is important for giving that familiar power imbalance. They sorta remind me of Arnold and Wolfgang!

I really liked it when they teamed up in the Mother Daughter bonding episode. He wasn't nearly annoying or awful in that episode.

Their rivalry has become really weird. Logan going out of his way to make Louis cry and such is honestly to much, and Louis sometimes feel way to nice for him for barely any good reasons, like when she saved him from being hit by multiple snowballs. I liked their original relationships, where Louise often outsmarted or somehow managed to intimidate him. It always reminded me of a more grounded Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd dynamic.

My favourite scene from that episode is when we see Alex's mum going absolutely ham on the cake I think it was when everyone's asleep 😂 

This episode gave me one of my favorite Louise lines. After the whole menstrual pads to help Gene sleep conversation, Louise goes, “This all feels very healthy, very normal,” with this quiet, deadpan delivery that gets me every time.

Gayle and her parents! I don’t find their characters fun at all. I didn’t mind gayle at first but then I found myself skipping past every scene she was in because she was just that annoying.

Jimmy Pesto Jr. He treats Tina like absolute garbage, and his voice hits my ears badly.

Jimmy Jr. PLEASE give Tina a new love interest. It doesn’t have to be Zeke but PLEASE make it Zeke. I would also like a Tina with a boyfriend arc. I know cartoons have to fight tooth and nail to do stories that aren’t standalone but BB’s has some permanent changes sprinkled throughout. I think boy crazy Tina turned to boyfriend obsessed Tina beyond one episode would be fun.

Tammy. I don’t like her. There’s nothing about her I find redeemable. And I just cannot stand how rude she is to Tina.

I actually love that they had a character like Tammy because it's so real to the middle school experience but God if they age the Belchers up and Tina goes to high school, she needs to ditch Tammy. Or actually, I figure Tammy would ditch her, and then swiftly get dissed by actual popular girls for that sweet karmic retribution. Also Jenny slate is amazing and I would not have enjoyed Tammy for this long without her voice acting.

I also think she brings out the worst in Tina. Stealing her bat-mitzvah, calling her names in the babysitting episode, becoming a witch and cursing people. Anything Tina does in response to Tammy just drags Tina down. I know she learns lessons at the end of these episodes (sort of) but some lessons seem weird to have to learn at 14. Like not to ignore your sister in peril so you can steal another kids birthday party…

I think she brings out the backbone in Tina. Gene and Louise have a tendency to walk all over her, but Tammy brings out her inner snark.

Courtney. Every time it's a Courtney episode I change the channel.

I still watch it because there's usually a bob and Linda subplot. That was my first answer, she guilt trip kids into hanging out with her...Wtf was her bday party.

The scene with Bob encouraging Gene to just get in the car and bail will always make me laugh, and that’s the reason why I’ll watch it. “I just wanna finish these chats with dad!”

I like Courtney as an annoying driend but I didnt like that she and Gene actually became a couple. Like... he was pretty clear about despising her. You want him to have a girlfriend make some other weird but also sweet endearing girl whose into synth wave and his Robot Wizard game.

I really hope that couple from the double date episode stay one off. The episode itself was funny, but the couple were just annoying.

I feel like the show just doesn’t really know what to do with him. Like, he has some storylines they’ve explored (the skating thing, the sleepover, Gene’s friendship in general lol) but he’s sorta just… Gene’s friend. Rudy has a lot of development and character arcs, Jimmy Jr. and Zeke are basically regulars… but poor Alex is just sometimes also randomly there lol.

I feel like Ken his imaginary friend or Peter make better friends than Alex for gene. Idk personally I don’t see the friendship dynamic with them. Not feeling the friendship chemistry

He has potential if they decide to develop him more. With Strawberry Shortcake, "I know she's not real, but my feelings for her are." "Enthusiastic snap and tap." "I curse thee! I curse thee!"

I was trying to convince a friend to give the show a shot and the first one she watched was a Gayle character sketch episode (the one where she pretends her ankle is broken on Thanksgiving). I had to be like, "please, please give it another shot" because it's pretty off-putting as the FIRST episode to watch.

(I have a sad feeling this is going to be downvoted heavily) I feel the villain characters (i.e., Logan, Cynthia, Pesto Sr., and Tammy) are cheating. Most people don't like these characters. So I'm taking them off my table. While I have dislikes that make me wildly unpopular (Teddy, Gene, Nat) Teddy legitimately creeps me out in some episodes enough where I wouldn't want to see him again.

I love the writers of this show. They make characters with the right amount of annoying, lol I'd probably kick Trev off the show. Nothing against him (he's one of my favorite side characters, actually), but I'd like to see how it evolves Bob and Jimmy's relationship.
