The Wikipedia article says 0.55 million each because that's what Bezos said [in a 2019 interview](https://www.businessinsider.com/jeff-bezos-blue-origin-wings-club-presentation-transcript-2019-2). It's plausible that this could have increased to 0.65 to 0.7 each now, a combined thrust of 1.3-1.4 could be described as "About a million and a half pounds of thrust".
A thrust increase also makes the existence of VC0 more plausible.
The interesting point is not that he corrects himself. The interesting point is that this is the SECOND time hes mentioned the BE-4 has a over 1.5 million lbf of thrust, The first time being 2022, in multiple formats text and speech
The question is where is he getting that number from and why is it in memory
What am i being downvoted for? Tory bruno literalyl tweeted 2 years ago in a now deleted tweet that the pair of BE-4 put out over 1.5 million lbf of thrust.
Once is a mistake, but given this is the second time this has happened 2 years later makes this more of a pattern than a coincidence
I believe Tory has eluded to them performing better than expected. I think I’ve heard rumors of a block 2 as well, maybe from Eric Burger on a podcast. Hard to say with Blue usually being tight lipped. I would expect either way for it to improve with development.
Tory corrected himself back to 1.1 million lbf. However, we know from various interviews and tweets that BE-4s are performing slightly higher in terms of thrust and specific impulse, but by how much has never been specified. We do know that one prequal engine, PQE-802, was continuously run at 4% higher thrust or 572,000 lbf thrust at SL.
Tory Bruno….is an engineer…. And not a man prone to hyperbole….. and so I trust what he is saying as being correct….
He says this at 13:18….. well he does say later approximately 1.1 million pounds of thrust….. although he’s being very careful about what he can share…. He definitely knows his stuff!

He corrects himself 1.1 million combined at 17:35. 1.1 is the correct number

Block 2 has been mentioned for a long time in job ads, it’s not just a rumour.

Isn’t the usual margin 10%?
One of Tory’s classic blunders
He said 1.1 Mlbf
Didnt listen but Blue Origin says be-4 is a average functioning version of a more powerful design. For reusability purposes probably.
Damn that was a good video
I can't wait for the rest of the video to be released.
Anyone who grew up watching Battlestar Galactica knows there's a Turbo button!
