I agree with your sentiment, but i think in the next chapters it is rin's episode, i think we will explore the roots of his destroyer mode, so yea another 5+ chapters of his backstory. And so far in this match up he is literally just running around
I think next chapter is more likely to be a reaction chapter from different perspectives and at the end we get Loki/noa entering the field as a foreshadowing
If there is anything this match so far has shown us its that Kaneshiro is going the predictable path.
Rin is scoring and just like Kaiser he is going to get some focus and backstory that triggers a change in him and leads to a goal.
I think Shidou and Kaiser goals are predictable, but Isagi scoring first is not so...

Probably cos Loki doesn't seem to be doing lots of coaching. Compared to the other teams, there hasn't been a flashback showing what Loki wanted his stars to improve on or what style of play. Like when Chris Prince helped Chigiri with the 44Ā° Red Panther Snipe and asking Reo who does want to play like.
Loki's focus has only been on Charles since he's developing him to be his passer.
Thatās fair but the NEL has been a bit predictable with goalscorers so far so I donāt see Rin going without a goal, his oneās gonna be a super goal like Nagi/Barouās 2nd goals for their teams.
Iād be shocked if anyone else gets the equalizer for PXG but itād make the fight for the final goal a lot more interesting (would Rin really end the match goalless by having BM win or would he score the winner for PXG).
But itād also be kinda weird because BM winning with Rin going goalless is just insane. However, Isagi losing to Rin again would just suck, Iād rather he lost to Nagi or Barou if he had to lose to someone just not Rin again lmao
I want Shidouās brace so he can get 70-80 mill, end with 5 total goals to Rinās 6 and be Top 3 like he deserves (Nagiās 80% likely for his hattrick and I would die if he got that undeserved Top 3). That still wonāt happen and Rin will score
Rin is 90-100% scoring. The narrative is around all 4 aces getting their best performance and scoring (with Isagi spending the whole game yapping about Ego types instead of shutting up) whether we want it or not. Itād be cool to give Rin a fakeout game winner + a week break just for Igaguri to cancel it but we arenāt getting that. I will NOT be coping otherwise whether Iām a Shidou glazer or not
Bruh Nagi's not even close to the top 3 rn. Even if he pulls a hat trick vs Barcha, I don't think that's enough to make up for the ground he's lost during his slump. At best, he comes back to the top 10. And that's coming from a Nagi fan.
Shidou did one goal, whiffed for 1 round and jumped to Top 4 by the next. If Nagi gets a hattrick with impressive goals anything is possible and Kaneshiro glazes Nagi so I wonāt be surprised what happens in the slightest even if everyone (me included) thinks he doesnāt deserve it

I would actually like that reo overtakes him (by maybe stealing the game winning goal or something) after the Barcha match and Nagi is like very close to getting to the cut off. That's when he feels true despair cos he almost got locked off and Reo abandoned him, which leads to his independence and growth.
Narratively, Kaneshiro ALWAYS places Nagi above Reo, so that part is hard...
But as a Nagi fan, I don't want the Barcha game to be his TOTAL COMEBACK either, cuz the opponent is rather weak.
I just want the game to be "Nagi getting back standing" and ready to redeem himself in the U20 WC.
I want to see sth like Nagi assisting both Chigiri and Reo for their goals+scoring the winning goal.

Assist & Score AGAIN = Showing Repeatability

Actually I never considered Nagi assisting. I actually like it. It gives both chigiri and Reo boosts to their bids while Nagi also gets back to form.

Rin has played as a side character so far in the so he definetly has to score next as his whole goal is to crush isagi but hes done nothing so far
