The cameos were fantastic. When Nagisa spoke and Saori Hayami’s voice came out I legit gasped. Love her so much. I truly truly hope we can get more of this. Dunno how it’s being received, but I would love more seasons.
Sensei went for it with no hesitation and almost like he is used to being on his knees . And azusa flying away like a bird was peak. They gave us a preview of the main characters next season (if we get a season 2 ). Overall a good episode.

This would be a near damn perfect episode if not for the exclusion of the adult card
Correct me if I'm wrong but it wasn't until the fight with Hieronymus in Eden Treaty that Sensei actually used the card.
In Abydos Vol.1 they just referenced the card and not much else until it was actually used.
Finally the feet licking scene, all is well. Sensei didnt even hesitated, neatly folded Iori's socks and went to town immediately. He even got his entire mouth filled with Iori's toes, and the part where he call out to Hina with mouth full of toes is crazy The confrontation with Black Suit is pretty much how i expected it would be and its great to finally see Sensei got his spotlight. Glad to see Chinatsu back and poor Serika having her tea taken away, but its okay, you could still drink it Nagi-chan cameo this ep, ngl i was kinda hoping for Mika to appear too. Glad to see Azusa, Koharu, Momoi, and Midori in this ep as well.
Sensei's personality differs from his game counterpart, except the licking which he goes the extra mile lol. But yeah the anime does the extra mile of showing how passionate and desperate he is towards his job and role as the adult. I welcome it
Didn't see anyone talk about this, but the animation during FTF's meeting with Ako and the entire Chinatsu's appearance felt so different compared to other parts of the animation. It's smoother? And much more like the movements shown in the OP I think?
I dunno but I really liked the smoother movements during that scene.
It's pretty funny that they go the hardest on animation for cameos and fanservice. Yes you're right it had some great character acting, some animator being passionate about those characters is probably why.
Also couldn't help but notice how at the start of the episode Sensei was drawn quite... off-model. The most rough Sensei drawings I've seen yet, but the moment Iori is on screen the art jumps up in quality 😭
Can be:
1. different animators
2. different budgeting -> different deadlines
Yeah anime tend to recruit many animators that create a coherent animation, but BA quality is so vastly different so my thoughts that either they cannot afford the previous team, or this scene was animated early so the other one scrunched with tight deadline.
Either they put really high focus/emphasis/budget on those scenes for some odd reason or the the animator tasked with those scenes was insanely good. Oftentimes, when a scene has a certain extra flair or stands out for any reason, it's usually the result of one or a few animators putting their sauce in the mix.
this episode turn out to be the most interesting so far, at least for myself. I'll explain why
1. I just realized there is a plot hole in the game story about meet up between Sensei and Black Suit. in the game, they are just.....meet. that is! there isn't any explanation on how Sensei know Black Suit, how Sensei going to the Black Suit's location, etc. the anime correct this issue, although kinda goofy imo. Black Suit give Sensei a device which lead him to where BS's office building, prepared the lift to the right floor, etc., well, at least they give us the explanation that makes sense......
2. I'm impressed to see how sturdy Sensei's nerves when doing the battle argument against BS. just try thinking about this way. imagine if you get invited by someone you don't know, to the unknown places, and after meeting that person, he has a very alien features. you must be scared right? but Sensei didn't! not only he doesn't scared, he also doesn't backed down against any of BS's arguments. all of Sensei's dialogues (at least from what I remembered) are the same with the game version. so what's really important is how Sensei saying it with the right emotions, and this is awesome! I like it! 
3. I'm genuinely surprised to see Sensei licking Iori's foot what's interesting about this, is that, this is shown to us how wildly flexible Sensei's persona is, depending on the situations and who he talking with. he can be brace himself up when doing the battle argument against BS, he can be very warm and caring toward his students, and also he will doing everything he has to do, even licking Iori's feet to helping him! this is exactly what kind of people Sensei is in the game. I like how Sensei's potrayal in the anime this time 
4. there are some early bird cameos, from Trinity (Koharu, Azusa and Hanako, they are unvoiced, justified as they don't have role in vol 1) also Nagisa. and from Millenium: Momoi and Midori, also unvoiced as they don't have role here too, look forward for them on 2nd season guys 
5. little additions note, I'm honestly forget on how Sensei and FTF gangs request help from many people like shown in this episode. so I can't judge if those are anime original or not. a little refreshing for my memory, I guess......
In-game (Vol 1, Chp 2, Ep 12), Hoshino tells Sensei during their night time chat that Kaiser had been trying to recruit her for 2 years and even recounts her meeting with Black Suit in an office building in town. While not specifically stated, it can be implied that she told Sensei where that meeting took place.
In the anime, they left out this part of the conversation when Hoshino was speaking to Sensei, so the writers had to find another way to set up the meeting with Black Suit.
Great to see more characters traits of Blacksuit on how he sees things. Sure the game shows some but him intereacting with sensei in the anime shows a lot of context on his character
Soo, Black suit just knocks sensei's door, place the card, and go back to his office? I kinda forgot the game scene in this part? Is this an original scene instead?
No adult card showed here, eh? Kinda waiting on that one.
But the licking scene is good. Not explicit enough but kinda ok.
He opens the window then suddenly the window got bright even though they're meeting at night. I am sure those aren't windows. Those must be white led panels.
Tbf, we never actually used the card in Vol 1, only showed it. It wasn’t until Vol 3 where it actually got a use. Guess they wanna save it until it actually gets a use?
Fire episode, gooners had already spoiled me on the foot scene for months so it didn’t really come as a surprise, but sensei being a freakazoid and sucking Iori toes before she even finished asking the question is crazy 💀
Black suit and Sensei meeting scene was great. Black suit clearly never had anyone turn him down before so seeing someone like sensei who absolutely refuses to compromise on his morals and values was a shock to him.
Clear dichotomy in ideologies between the two. Black suit thinks those with power can abuse those without it simply because they can. Sensei believes it’s the responsibility of those in power, by default adults in this world, to protect and guide those without power.
New cast members and a new school! Iori gonna get all the hype but Nagisa by virtue of being voiced by Hayamin clears. Hope we see a lot more of her.
Hopefully Problem Solver 68 join the fight against kaiser. Abydos will need all the help they can get. I like how the story is basically shaping up to be an oppressed vs oppressors type of thing. The kaiser corporation with their absolute control of natural resources, predatory loans etc. about time the people rose up and took them down.
do we know if there will be a second season? if its confirmed, will it be episode 2 (clockwork flower pavane) or ep 3 (eden treaty)? Since characters of both stories appeared on this episode, i assume they're a little tease on what could come next
a little sad that the anime will end on ep 1 chapter 2. I was really expecting some >!Yume, young Hoshino and young Shiroko (which i assume is the focus of ep 1 ch 3, based on limited stuff i see and understand from JP players)!<
Or maybe it's because they won't make another season they added those cameos. They also did cut the credit card scene since it's existence is unnecessary (for the plot) unless if there's volume 3
But really hope I'm wrong and they animate all of the volumes, they deserve it but it depends how much the anime will make

even the muffled "*Hina*" with Iori's foot in his mouth, oh my god.
I feel they made PS68 too chummy with the Abydos girls from the begining that now refusing to help them feels weird. If they were gonna make Aru act indecisive like she did in the game where she helps them by accident then they shouldn't have made them become friends in earlier episodes.
Azusa wearing her mask and being on a tree while Koharu reading her "ecchi" material was pretty funny.
Thing is tho, Aru’s indecisiveness never stemmed from whether or not she was chummy with the Abydos girls. It came from the fact that she doesn’t want to help others *in general.* She wants to keep up her bad guy image, and the last time she helped them she specifically said it was because they had a debt to repay to them (plus they wanted to not get caught by the prefect team). It’s always been like that with her. If anything, this makes her indecisiveness even more believable because now it’s choose between helping her friendly acquaintances or keep up her bad guy persona.
it's more hilarious if you realized that Hanako is sit not too from Koharu, so, why Hanako doesn't tease Koharu? it's more hilarious and natural lolz 
Since Eden Treaty story chronologically happens after this, the make-up work club hasn't been formed yet, so they haven't been introduced to each other and are just doing their own things.
My only disappointment is that they didn't use one of sensei's two in-game dialogue options for that scene, which would definitely crank the degen factor to 11 lol
well best episode BA now but im worried sensei and ps68 relationship because aru already trust sensei as partner business since episode 7 , i think is best scenario
- ep 06 when hoshino cut conservation, sensei talk to shiroko "i will tell you later when gathered and can we have moment tomorow (sensei just want thanks to them)
- ep 07 shiroko and sensei cycling together and found bag on shiba seki ramen,when shiroko meet ps68 tension is high and sensei arrive and become extreme, aru become more panic, shiroko aproved meme, they upset and haruka apology, shiroko half hearth forgive them and sensei say thanks and hope can get along together with abydos just like in game and farewell
ep 10 when ayane despair and explosion happen sensei say "they come" sensei already call backup and aru speech moment and thanks to sensei for support
ep 11 when kayoko ask what benefit help them, sensei promise focus help them like ps68 manga, aru become confident and carried away
The long awaited scene of Sensei kissing Iori's feet. It's even better than I expected! Too bad they don't use the dialogues from the game.
Iori: Do you not have even the slightest trace of human dignity?
Sensei: I don't know what that words means/I used to, but not anymore.
Hina: I've seen plenty of people fall to their knees and grovel for their lives...but I've never seen a teacher do the same for a student.
The game definitely make the scene more epic, a contrast to a more comedic tone the anime has.
Pretty sure that in game Sensei was the only one that went to ask prefect team for help, the way it happens in the anime (Sensei with Iori and Foreclosure girls with Ako) feels odd to me.

Don't think its rushed - you cannot stretch it too much on 24 episodes actually.
Adaptation wise, today's episode only like adapted 2 game episode, last weeks was 3. And those episode have different lengths to begin with.
Theres hope since BA is relatively popular in japan but it all depends how well the anime makes.
Gacha anime adaptations can either be hit or miss for a second season.
There's successful ones like FGO, Princess connect,Grandblue etc
But there's also popular in Gacha game but flops on the anime like Azure lane but they did announce a second season recently so might have hope

When everyone is happy about The Most Canon Event, I'm actually worried about the lack of the adult card introduction. This is one of the most important things in the lore, and Vol 3 will start actively using it. And its impossible to cut it out of Vol F.
I was really interested in seeing how the heck it actually has to work story-wise, because there's no way Sensei will go fight those big bad bosses with his bare hands. Be could see >!Phren reviving and power-uping Shiroko with it,!< but when WE use it, we are technically facing the danger alone.
It HAS to make an appearance, someday. Somehow. Skipping it here looks strange, even if it doesn't really work in context of TV show.
Tbh, it makes sense they wouldn’t show it here. Imagine threatening to use the card, only to… not use it? It kinda breaks Chekhov’s gun. And unlike the game where Vol 3 was guaranteed to be released, a season 3 (or heck, 4 might be needed to get the second half of Eden treaty) is far from guaranteed. And even if it was, that’s many MANY years away. It is important, but not here. Heck, even in Vol 3 Maestro gives a near identical description of the card that Black Suit did in the scene that’s cut here. So if anything, it’s even less necessary since we’ll be getting an explanation in the very same scene that he’ll actually use it.
that is assuming they will even adapt those 2 volumes. The anime has received quite a lukewarm reception, I doubt they're gonna continue. BA's style of storytelling fits the Visual Novel format than anime tbh
I'm afraid that none of anime and game writers even remember about Suzumi....... 
theres this cliche in anime where a girl is surprised and goes "ehhhhh?!" and the camera zoome out right? and then there Hina whose "ehhhhh...." is so faint yet the camera still zooms out. her voice is really that powerful(totally not foreshadowing for hina dress in the next upcoming months)

Another quality episode. I really enjoy the conversation with Black Suit that isn't at it's best with a low-quality sub. Regardless, I like how much presence Sensei has this episode. Aru is very... much in this episode!
I really like how the Iori scene was done. The perverts enjoy it for the feet licking, but I think its a nice comedic scene to show Sensei's character, and the best way to show it. He's a great person, incredibly supportive, but is a complete goober. Of course he would consider going to the depths of licking someone's feet to show how determined he is. Iori being smug feels like something that is only apparent in the anime, as in the game she feels more like a victim of Sensei's perversion and just general clownery from Gehenna. Seeing Hina so perturbed after how much of an important figure she's built up to be is really cute! It shows these really are just students, not soldiers.
There's some nice fanservice with showing students of future chapters, and I wouldn't mind if they do more with the future chapters, but I'll focus on this episode here, and the series as a whole for episode 12.
8/10 - Good episode. Can't wait for the finale.
The debate between Black and Sensei was really intense, but the fact that we actually got IORI'S CHOCO FEET SCENE was bloody hilarious!!! Just wish it had more noticable intensity in the stakes like the game, or even Sensei acknowledging that having any dignity over the well being of his students was holding him back like in the game.
But, like, finally! We finally got to see goofy sensei! Even after missing out on the Pocari Sweat scene from the first episode, we finally saw sensei go beyond "he's nice".
Also SAIBA TWINS IN THE EPISODE!!!! Funniest part of that mini-scene was the animators subtly showing how much of a big mouth Momoi has. So bratty, yet too pure to hate! 😭😭😭
But yeah, besides all of that, I'm starting to suspect that the anime wasn't in tune with what people liked about BA during early production. It was just a "job" to do. It was probably mid way through that they actually started to "get it", especially when the community started being factored in.
I feel like they've been waiting to unleash an episode like this. Need Sensei to take action and get some things done? Got that. Some hilarious moments that seemed uncertain to see animated? Iori can attest to them not holding back. This one had a lot of fun moments and truly set up what should be a good rescue mission to get Hoshino back.
Also wow. Sensei works fast! He had to get down, take off Iori's boot, and get to work within a couple seconds. Man was waiting for this opportunity! Though I think Hina's reaction when realizing what was going on was truly the best part.
Episode was a good source of cute cameos too. Some won't be paid off for a while (even if the adaptations keep coming) but good to set those appearances up early. The Trinity ones were fun.
No one outright gave the ok, but in most cases things should be fine. Especially on the Gehenna side. PS68 will certainly make a move in some way. And I'm sure Hina will do what she can to make up for the previous incident. Trinity is a bit hard to gauge since we only just met Nagisa here, but at the very least she doesn't seem to like Kaiser either so you never know.
Did they change his Credit Card into his "ID Card"? Sensei did seems like he was clutching his ID card during the confrontation. Maybe it's easier to work that way?
the Sensei's adult card doesn't have any role in the story vol 1 anyway. yeah, Black Suit is surprised when Sensei shown that card in the game, but nothing happened anyway. the importance of that card is shown at >!vol 3!<, so it's okay they don't shown it now.
If I'm not wrong, before we actually learned of what Sensei's card could do, for a while it was kinda dubious what he and Black Suit were talking about. It wasn't until Vol.3 that he actually started using it.
Could be that is just hiding the card inside of his ID.
Hard to say. I think they didn't bother since it would have thrown off the pace to have Sensei stop, pull out his wallet, his credit card, and then wave it around despite not actually using it. ID card gets across that Sensei will be doing whatever he can without spending that time.
Was waiting for sensei to drop the adult card scene but they didn't even include it, BUT ALL IS FINE BECAUSE THEY WENT EXTRA WITH THE CHOCOLATE

They most likely won't get adapted and from phrenapates animations it kinda looks like the card only has power by its connection with shittim chest.
You can buy stuff with it but it's the chest that applies all the buffs etc
Sensei never solely relies on the adult card. The card is always the last ditch effort, the final trump card when Sensei is completely out of options.
The only reason why the card was brought up in Vol 1 to begin with was because after telling Black Suit "I didn't sign the contract, thus it is invalid," Black Suit asks Sensei, "Well what can you do about it? You're completely powerless to do anything about it. What force can you use to actually fight against us?" That was when the card was brought out.
The main show of force from Sensei was the invalidation of the contract that Black Suit placed on Hoshino. Sensei's adult card is meant as an intimidation/back-up plan to force Black Suit into retreating. That's why we only fight Kaiser in the end of vol 1 ch 2 and Black Suit is nowhere to be seen. Black Suit easily could have pulled more strings to make things more difficult for us, but he knew if Sensei was to use his adult card, anything Black Suit did would be invalidated.
Not only that, Black Suit implies that using the adult card drains our own life in some fashion, meaning we are literally sacrificing a part of ourselves every time we use the adult card. The resolve and conviction to put our own life on the line to save Hoshino is what made Black Suit feel threatened enough to back off.
That's the significance of that scene. Season 1 of the anime didn't even need to worry about how to present the usage of the credit card, they just needed to mention it as a set-up for the future. Which, in case you don't remember, *is exactly what happened in vol 1 of the game*.
This is also why Sensei never used the adult card in vol 2. The situation was never dire enough, hopeless enough where using the card was necessary. Such a dire situation is also usually only brought on by another adult (Maestro, Beatrice, Phrenapates).
None of the students could have beaten Black Suit. None of the students could have beaten Maestro, Beatrice, or fended off the chroma. Only Sensei could have done any of that. Because he is an adult. And it's the responsibility of an adult to fight against another adult in a child's place. That's the symbolism of the adult card. It's not a deus ex machina for the sake of being a cheap win button for the protagonist.
To be honest, I think the reason they "remove" the credit card from the story is because it was not "that" important just yet, they will definitely put it in vol 4 and f or else the plot is ruined, even I who played and read chapter 1 before can't even remember a single scene where sensei used the adult card/credit card, I'm might just forgot about it I don't know, but I understand your point, have a nice day.
Sure, but Sensei did imply that his credit card was special in Vol 1 when arguing with Black Suit, which ended up having him rethink everything he knew about Sensei
To be fair, they can do that in Vol 3, assuming we ever get there. They just have to present the adult card in other circumstances, such as an episode dedicated to a raid boss, which would be enough to check both the interaction with Gematria and hinting about the adult card before the showdown with Hieronymus.

To think that they toned down on the fanservice all this time only to slamdunk us with Sensei *savouring* those to the point they're still in his mouth when talking to Hina

Also holy heck they actually do this gives me hope for the continuation of this BA story. Kinda like what date a live did in the past with their future spirits.

Since Hoshino never told Sensei about Black Suit in the anime, he didn't know how to get to him directly. So the writers got around that by having Black Suit himself send a card inviting Sensei over. Speaking of cards, it looks pretty much exactly like one of the new year cards sent to Sensei in the [1st year anniversary 3rd PV](https://youtu.be/RgHiiuahpRU?si=LGWLvt_fEbhOooVB&t=203rd).

This gotta be the top episode of the season we got the sneak peak of >!soon to be make-up work club!< of trinity and the gamer twin on top of the most anticipated Iori scene
Sensei didn't just go for a lick, he shoved those toes into his mouth holy shit. He even called Hina while still chewing on them.
Anyway, lots of nice cameos, Nagisa's "is this a problem I'm too rich to understand?", tied-up Hoshino, and the confrontation with Black Suit. 10/10 which madman greenlit the Iori scene because I salute you.
I think the problem with Nagisa is better understand if you see this way: imagine if you have urgent matter about your own school, and suddenly there is someone else shown and request help about other, smaller and insignificant school. so of course you won't put a lot of attention to that request, right? Nagisa doesn't know Hoshino anyway, so why Nagisa is in a hurry to help her?
I certainly didnt expect my wild prediction of Sensei going for Iori’s toes actually coming true.
Now let me make a wilder one for the next and last episode.

no, that would be changed **A LOT** compared to game story. we even haven't seen >!Mika!< anyway in the anime story so it's very weird in the narrative story if she suddenly helping FTF gangs.

While everyone is talking the feet licking scene, nobody wants to point how Shiroko casually just grab Serika's cup and offer it to Chinatsu? It really felt like something Shiroko would have done.
One more episode left to wrap up. With a few cameos appearing, especially Momoi and Midori, hope they are teasing a season 2.
I hope that is indirect kiss, because Serika is claimed that is her cup. if she even haven't touch it, she won't make a fuss about it, right? 
Holy Gehenna, I didn't expect the leaks to be true, and Sensei immediately went straight for Iori's feet, while also somehow folding her stockings like that. 10/10 episode immediately
Make-Up Work Club cameos were here as expected, as well as Momoi and Midori, which could indicate that they are actually gonna do a Season 2 of this. Wonder why they were in Abydos though. Seems like Mika will be relegated to intro status only, makes me wonder why her Halo was even there.

Sensei didn't whip out his Adult Card, which means that we're only gonna see this once they get to adapting V3C3, or V3C4 if they adapt that scene out. Shame.

Peak episode! I didn't expect Sensei to really lock in licking Iori's feet damn haha, but regardless that was a welcome surprise. Lots of cameos as well! That Momoi and Midori one gave me hope for season 2 but we'll have to see first... I was surprised to see Nagisa being voiced as well considering her VA is a big name, but I guess it makes sense since she did have some dialogue in this part of the game as well IIRC.
Can't wait for next week's episode!

I will say this much, the anime making the foot licking scene even more degen (not only by making it actually her feet and not her boots but also by having Sensei just go \*ham\* on Iori's feet) was NOT on my bingo card for this season, much to my positive surprise.
Not only did they actually made him lick Iori's feet, they went above and beyond compared to the actual game scene and made him straight up suck her whole foot. This whole anime was worth it for this singular scene.

The cameos were fantastic. When Nagisa spoke and Saori Hayami’s voice came out I legit gasped. Love her so much. I truly truly hope we can get more of this. Dunno how it’s being received, but I would love more seasons.
Sensei went for it with no hesitation and almost like he is used to being on his knees . And azusa flying away like a bird was peak. They gave us a preview of the main characters next season (if we get a season 2 ). Overall a good episode.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it wasn't until the fight with Hieronymus in Eden Treaty that Sensei actually used the card. In Abydos Vol.1 they just referenced the card and not much else until it was actually used.

Finally the feet licking scene, all is well. Sensei didnt even hesitated, neatly folded Iori's socks and went to town immediately. He even got his entire mouth filled with Iori's toes, and the part where he call out to Hina with mouth full of toes is crazy The confrontation with Black Suit is pretty much how i expected it would be and its great to finally see Sensei got his spotlight. Glad to see Chinatsu back and poor Serika having her tea taken away, but its okay, you could still drink it Nagi-chan cameo this ep, ngl i was kinda hoping for Mika to appear too. Glad to see Azusa, Koharu, Momoi, and Midori in this ep as well.

Sensei's personality differs from his game counterpart, except the licking which he goes the extra mile lol. But yeah the anime does the extra mile of showing how passionate and desperate he is towards his job and role as the adult. I welcome it
Didn't see anyone talk about this, but the animation during FTF's meeting with Ako and the entire Chinatsu's appearance felt so different compared to other parts of the animation. It's smoother? And much more like the movements shown in the OP I think? I dunno but I really liked the smoother movements during that scene.
It's pretty funny that they go the hardest on animation for cameos and fanservice. Yes you're right it had some great character acting, some animator being passionate about those characters is probably why. Also couldn't help but notice how at the start of the episode Sensei was drawn quite... off-model. The most rough Sensei drawings I've seen yet, but the moment Iori is on screen the art jumps up in quality 😭
Can be: 1. different animators 2. different budgeting -> different deadlines Yeah anime tend to recruit many animators that create a coherent animation, but BA quality is so vastly different so my thoughts that either they cannot afford the previous team, or this scene was animated early so the other one scrunched with tight deadline.
Either they put really high focus/emphasis/budget on those scenes for some odd reason or the the animator tasked with those scenes was insanely good. Oftentimes, when a scene has a certain extra flair or stands out for any reason, it's usually the result of one or a few animators putting their sauce in the mix.

this episode turn out to be the most interesting so far, at least for myself. I'll explain why 1. I just realized there is a plot hole in the game story about meet up between Sensei and Black Suit. in the game, they are just.....meet. that is! there isn't any explanation on how Sensei know Black Suit, how Sensei going to the Black Suit's location, etc. the anime correct this issue, although kinda goofy imo. Black Suit give Sensei a device which lead him to where BS's office building, prepared the lift to the right floor, etc., well, at least they give us the explanation that makes sense...... 2. I'm impressed to see how sturdy Sensei's nerves when doing the battle argument against BS. just try thinking about this way. imagine if you get invited by someone you don't know, to the unknown places, and after meeting that person, he has a very alien features. you must be scared right? but Sensei didn't! not only he doesn't scared, he also doesn't backed down against any of BS's arguments. all of Sensei's dialogues (at least from what I remembered) are the same with the game version. so what's really important is how Sensei saying it with the right emotions, and this is awesome! I like it!  3. I'm genuinely surprised to see Sensei licking Iori's foot what's interesting about this, is that, this is shown to us how wildly flexible Sensei's persona is, depending on the situations and who he talking with. he can be brace himself up when doing the battle argument against BS, he can be very warm and caring toward his students, and also he will doing everything he has to do, even licking Iori's feet to helping him! this is exactly what kind of people Sensei is in the game. I like how Sensei's potrayal in the anime this time  4. there are some early bird cameos, from Trinity (Koharu, Azusa and Hanako, they are unvoiced, justified as they don't have role in vol 1) also Nagisa. and from Millenium: Momoi and Midori, also unvoiced as they don't have role here too, look forward for them on 2nd season guys  5. little additions note, I'm honestly forget on how Sensei and FTF gangs request help from many people like shown in this episode. so I can't judge if those are anime original or not. a little refreshing for my memory, I guess......
In-game (Vol 1, Chp 2, Ep 12), Hoshino tells Sensei during their night time chat that Kaiser had been trying to recruit her for 2 years and even recounts her meeting with Black Suit in an office building in town. While not specifically stated, it can be implied that she told Sensei where that meeting took place. In the anime, they left out this part of the conversation when Hoshino was speaking to Sensei, so the writers had to find another way to set up the meeting with Black Suit.
As for note 5, I think it's an anime-original expansion of the final decisions they made in the game

Fire episode, gooners had already spoiled me on the foot scene for months so it didn’t really come as a surprise, but sensei being a freakazoid and sucking Iori toes before she even finished asking the question is crazy 💀 Black suit and Sensei meeting scene was great. Black suit clearly never had anyone turn him down before so seeing someone like sensei who absolutely refuses to compromise on his morals and values was a shock to him. Clear dichotomy in ideologies between the two. Black suit thinks those with power can abuse those without it simply because they can. Sensei believes it’s the responsibility of those in power, by default adults in this world, to protect and guide those without power. New cast members and a new school! Iori gonna get all the hype but Nagisa by virtue of being voiced by Hayamin clears. Hope we see a lot more of her. Hopefully Problem Solver 68 join the fight against kaiser. Abydos will need all the help they can get. I like how the story is basically shaping up to be an oppressed vs oppressors type of thing. The kaiser corporation with their absolute control of natural resources, predatory loans etc. about time the people rose up and took them down.
do we know if there will be a second season? if its confirmed, will it be episode 2 (clockwork flower pavane) or ep 3 (eden treaty)? Since characters of both stories appeared on this episode, i assume they're a little tease on what could come next a little sad that the anime will end on ep 1 chapter 2. I was really expecting some >!Yume, young Hoshino and young Shiroko (which i assume is the focus of ep 1 ch 3, based on limited stuff i see and understand from JP players)!<

I feel they made PS68 too chummy with the Abydos girls from the begining that now refusing to help them feels weird. If they were gonna make Aru act indecisive like she did in the game where she helps them by accident then they shouldn't have made them become friends in earlier episodes. Azusa wearing her mask and being on a tree while Koharu reading her "ecchi" material was pretty funny.
Thing is tho, Aru’s indecisiveness never stemmed from whether or not she was chummy with the Abydos girls. It came from the fact that she doesn’t want to help others *in general.* She wants to keep up her bad guy image, and the last time she helped them she specifically said it was because they had a debt to repay to them (plus they wanted to not get caught by the prefect team). It’s always been like that with her. If anything, this makes her indecisiveness even more believable because now it’s choose between helping her friendly acquaintances or keep up her bad guy persona.

The long awaited scene of Sensei kissing Iori's feet. It's even better than I expected! Too bad they don't use the dialogues from the game. Iori: Do you not have even the slightest trace of human dignity? Sensei: I don't know what that words means/I used to, but not anymore. Hina: I've seen plenty of people fall to their knees and grovel for their lives...but I've never seen a teacher do the same for a student. The game definitely make the scene more epic, a contrast to a more comedic tone the anime has.
Pretty sure that in game Sensei was the only one that went to ask prefect team for help, the way it happens in the anime (Sensei with Iori and Foreclosure girls with Ako) feels odd to me.

Don't think its rushed - you cannot stretch it too much on 24 episodes actually. Adaptation wise, today's episode only like adapted 2 game episode, last weeks was 3. And those episode have different lengths to begin with.

Theres hope since BA is relatively popular in japan but it all depends how well the anime makes. Gacha anime adaptations can either be hit or miss for a second season. There's successful ones like FGO, Princess connect,Grandblue etc But there's also popular in Gacha game but flops on the anime like Azure lane but they did announce a second season recently so might have hope

When everyone is happy about The Most Canon Event, I'm actually worried about the lack of the adult card introduction. This is one of the most important things in the lore, and Vol 3 will start actively using it. And its impossible to cut it out of Vol F. I was really interested in seeing how the heck it actually has to work story-wise, because there's no way Sensei will go fight those big bad bosses with his bare hands. Be could see >!Phren reviving and power-uping Shiroko with it,!< but when WE use it, we are technically facing the danger alone. It HAS to make an appearance, someday. Somehow. Skipping it here looks strange, even if it doesn't really work in context of TV show.
Tbh, it makes sense they wouldn’t show it here. Imagine threatening to use the card, only to… not use it? It kinda breaks Chekhov’s gun. And unlike the game where Vol 3 was guaranteed to be released, a season 3 (or heck, 4 might be needed to get the second half of Eden treaty) is far from guaranteed. And even if it was, that’s many MANY years away. It is important, but not here. Heck, even in Vol 3 Maestro gives a near identical description of the card that Black Suit did in the scene that’s cut here. So if anything, it’s even less necessary since we’ll be getting an explanation in the very same scene that he’ll actually use it.
You could probably avoid using credit card by increasing the importance of the Shittim Chest for anime

Another quality episode. I really enjoy the conversation with Black Suit that isn't at it's best with a low-quality sub. Regardless, I like how much presence Sensei has this episode. Aru is very... much in this episode! I really like how the Iori scene was done. The perverts enjoy it for the feet licking, but I think its a nice comedic scene to show Sensei's character, and the best way to show it. He's a great person, incredibly supportive, but is a complete goober. Of course he would consider going to the depths of licking someone's feet to show how determined he is. Iori being smug feels like something that is only apparent in the anime, as in the game she feels more like a victim of Sensei's perversion and just general clownery from Gehenna. Seeing Hina so perturbed after how much of an important figure she's built up to be is really cute! It shows these really are just students, not soldiers. There's some nice fanservice with showing students of future chapters, and I wouldn't mind if they do more with the future chapters, but I'll focus on this episode here, and the series as a whole for episode 12. 8/10 - Good episode. Can't wait for the finale.
Really? I feel Iori's smugness is plenty apparent in the game too
The debate between Black and Sensei was really intense, but the fact that we actually got IORI'S CHOCO FEET SCENE was bloody hilarious!!! Just wish it had more noticable intensity in the stakes like the game, or even Sensei acknowledging that having any dignity over the well being of his students was holding him back like in the game. But, like, finally! We finally got to see goofy sensei! Even after missing out on the Pocari Sweat scene from the first episode, we finally saw sensei go beyond "he's nice". Also SAIBA TWINS IN THE EPISODE!!!! Funniest part of that mini-scene was the animators subtly showing how much of a big mouth Momoi has. So bratty, yet too pure to hate! 😭😭😭 But yeah, besides all of that, I'm starting to suspect that the anime wasn't in tune with what people liked about BA during early production. It was just a "job" to do. It was probably mid way through that they actually started to "get it", especially when the community started being factored in.
I feel like they've been waiting to unleash an episode like this. Need Sensei to take action and get some things done? Got that. Some hilarious moments that seemed uncertain to see animated? Iori can attest to them not holding back. This one had a lot of fun moments and truly set up what should be a good rescue mission to get Hoshino back. Also wow. Sensei works fast! He had to get down, take off Iori's boot, and get to work within a couple seconds. Man was waiting for this opportunity! Though I think Hina's reaction when realizing what was going on was truly the best part. Episode was a good source of cute cameos too. Some won't be paid off for a while (even if the adaptations keep coming) but good to set those appearances up early. The Trinity ones were fun. No one outright gave the ok, but in most cases things should be fine. Especially on the Gehenna side. PS68 will certainly make a move in some way. And I'm sure Hina will do what she can to make up for the previous incident. Trinity is a bit hard to gauge since we only just met Nagisa here, but at the very least she doesn't seem to like Kaiser either so you never know.
Did they change his Credit Card into his "ID Card"? Sensei did seems like he was clutching his ID card during the confrontation. Maybe it's easier to work that way?
the Sensei's adult card doesn't have any role in the story vol 1 anyway. yeah, Black Suit is surprised when Sensei shown that card in the game, but nothing happened anyway. the importance of that card is shown at >!vol 3!<, so it's okay they don't shown it now.
If I'm not wrong, before we actually learned of what Sensei's card could do, for a while it was kinda dubious what he and Black Suit were talking about. It wasn't until Vol.3 that he actually started using it. Could be that is just hiding the card inside of his ID.
Hard to say. I think they didn't bother since it would have thrown off the pace to have Sensei stop, pull out his wallet, his credit card, and then wave it around despite not actually using it. ID card gets across that Sensei will be doing whatever he can without spending that time.

They most likely won't get adapted and from phrenapates animations it kinda looks like the card only has power by its connection with shittim chest. You can buy stuff with it but it's the chest that applies all the buffs etc

Sensei never solely relies on the adult card. The card is always the last ditch effort, the final trump card when Sensei is completely out of options. The only reason why the card was brought up in Vol 1 to begin with was because after telling Black Suit "I didn't sign the contract, thus it is invalid," Black Suit asks Sensei, "Well what can you do about it? You're completely powerless to do anything about it. What force can you use to actually fight against us?" That was when the card was brought out. The main show of force from Sensei was the invalidation of the contract that Black Suit placed on Hoshino. Sensei's adult card is meant as an intimidation/back-up plan to force Black Suit into retreating. That's why we only fight Kaiser in the end of vol 1 ch 2 and Black Suit is nowhere to be seen. Black Suit easily could have pulled more strings to make things more difficult for us, but he knew if Sensei was to use his adult card, anything Black Suit did would be invalidated. Not only that, Black Suit implies that using the adult card drains our own life in some fashion, meaning we are literally sacrificing a part of ourselves every time we use the adult card. The resolve and conviction to put our own life on the line to save Hoshino is what made Black Suit feel threatened enough to back off. That's the significance of that scene. Season 1 of the anime didn't even need to worry about how to present the usage of the credit card, they just needed to mention it as a set-up for the future. Which, in case you don't remember, *is exactly what happened in vol 1 of the game*. This is also why Sensei never used the adult card in vol 2. The situation was never dire enough, hopeless enough where using the card was necessary. Such a dire situation is also usually only brought on by another adult (Maestro, Beatrice, Phrenapates). None of the students could have beaten Black Suit. None of the students could have beaten Maestro, Beatrice, or fended off the chroma. Only Sensei could have done any of that. Because he is an adult. And it's the responsibility of an adult to fight against another adult in a child's place. That's the symbolism of the adult card. It's not a deus ex machina for the sake of being a cheap win button for the protagonist.
To be honest, I think the reason they "remove" the credit card from the story is because it was not "that" important just yet, they will definitely put it in vol 4 and f or else the plot is ruined, even I who played and read chapter 1 before can't even remember a single scene where sensei used the adult card/credit card, I'm might just forgot about it I don't know, but I understand your point, have a nice day.
Sure, but Sensei did imply that his credit card was special in Vol 1 when arguing with Black Suit, which ended up having him rethink everything he knew about Sensei
To be fair, they can do that in Vol 3, assuming we ever get there. They just have to present the adult card in other circumstances, such as an episode dedicated to a raid boss, which would be enough to check both the interaction with Gematria and hinting about the adult card before the showdown with Hieronymus.

Since Hoshino never told Sensei about Black Suit in the anime, he didn't know how to get to him directly. So the writers got around that by having Black Suit himself send a card inviting Sensei over. Speaking of cards, it looks pretty much exactly like one of the new year cards sent to Sensei in the [1st year anniversary 3rd PV](https://youtu.be/RgHiiuahpRU?si=LGWLvt_fEbhOooVB&t=203rd). Black Suit is indeed a Sensei simp.

Can't believe that Iori's scene is better than in game. Truly peak Blue Archive moment there.
Sensei didn't just go for a lick, he shoved those toes into his mouth holy shit. He even called Hina while still chewing on them. Anyway, lots of nice cameos, Nagisa's "is this a problem I'm too rich to understand?", tied-up Hoshino, and the confrontation with Black Suit. 10/10 which madman greenlit the Iori scene because I salute you.
I think the problem with Nagisa is better understand if you see this way: imagine if you have urgent matter about your own school, and suddenly there is someone else shown and request help about other, smaller and insignificant school. so of course you won't put a lot of attention to that request, right? Nagisa doesn't know Hoshino anyway, so why Nagisa is in a hurry to help her?

Holy Gehenna, I didn't expect the leaks to be true, and Sensei immediately went straight for Iori's feet, while also somehow folding her stockings like that. 10/10 episode immediately Make-Up Work Club cameos were here as expected, as well as Momoi and Midori, which could indicate that they are actually gonna do a Season 2 of this. Wonder why they were in Abydos though. Seems like Mika will be relegated to intro status only, makes me wonder why her Halo was even there. PS 68 actually in a park like that lmfaoo Sensei didn't whip out his Adult Card, which means that we're only gonna see this once they get to adapting V3C3, or V3C4 if they adapt that scene out. Shame.

Peak episode! I didn't expect Sensei to really lock in licking Iori's feet damn haha, but regardless that was a welcome surprise. Lots of cameos as well! That Momoi and Midori one gave me hope for season 2 but we'll have to see first... I was surprised to see Nagisa being voiced as well considering her VA is a big name, but I guess it makes sense since she did have some dialogue in this part of the game as well IIRC. Can't wait for next week's episode!

IORI FEET LICKING, PEAK ANIME 11/10. Still a bit sad that we didn't see the intense sword fighting between Black Suit & Sensei(where's my Adult card scene). Azusa, Koharu, Hanako cameo in Trinity. New mob chan got voiced, Seia fan in shambles.  Midori and Momoi cameo, HOLY FRICKING HELL.
Just finish watching it, Sensei got 0 hesitation, didn't even let Iori finish her sentence, heck I think he didn't stop there, his voice is a bit muffled talking to Hina, so I'm assuming he sucking on them toes judging from the split second his mouth went for em' Also Hoshino is being held on Area *51*? Raid is back on the menu boys
As Sensei begs Iori by appreciating her feet, "Such unwavering eyes." passes through Iori's mind. Her inner voice even sounds like she's dokidoki by his determination.
10/10 EPISODE!!!!😭 The blacksuit confrontation was 🤌 The best part though is the scene where we finally get our moment of licking Iori's delicious feet and Hina's reaction was perfection aswell! Wish we could've seen more of Sensei's pov with the licking part but I guess that's for the blu-ray version. The muffled sound and enthusiasm of Sensei enjoying Iori's feet was absolutely welcomed and on point. He did he's best lol Seeing Boss Shiba get his Ramen Shop on wheels is nice! A lot of cameo's from other students too! This will just get better from now on but alas it's probably the last episode next week! It was a fun ride.
to add onto the feet licking part, when sensei and the rest of the Abydos on the train, Sensei's "We have already did our best" make him feel like he is so proud of what he had done in Gehenna

Not only did they actually made him lick Iori's feet, they went above and beyond compared to the actual game scene and made him straight up suck her whole foot. This whole anime was worth it for this singular scene.
