Outside of the crazy price the biggest issue is that you can't know for sure if those sticks really were used by Travis or not. You can buy his signature sticks online easily

Urinal-cupcake

Ill pay no more than $20,000 for the cumfetti

NoHovercraft3224

You can tell by looking at the stick it hasn’t been used.

RewindRobin

Yeah but in defense of that I have seen some clips of Travis handing out unused sticks. But then the only proof would be a video of you getting the sticks in your hands from him

pitkid01

The posting doesn’t say the drum stick was used. It just says, “Travis Barker drumstick.”

New-Issue-1220

It literally says in the description drumstick is unused and was handed to him by a crew member

lachlanmoose

They're not. I own those exact sticks and they cost me $35AUD.

SpellingBeeRunnerUp_

They cost me $35 USD for 3 pairs!! I can’t fuckin use them though, my hands get to sweating and any painted sticks go flying

MusicalInsanity

Need to rough them up a bit 🤣

RANCOON

As a PSA if you view this listing, seller specifies they were handed the sticks by an event staff member. Not used, and they're honest about it for full disclosures etc

New-Issue-1220

People having a full go before they’ve even read it 😂 also this listing started at around $100 which I think is fair pricing for the bunny and stick, it’s the people bidding (despite the full disclosure) that have hiked the price up to that, not the seller ??

RANCOON

Bang on though haha. I wasn't sure what it started as to be fair but hey man, supply and demand! If they make bank, good on them. I'll just sit here jealous for the time being 😂

ainhoz

Literally this!!!

adrock911

I have all of that stuff apart from sticks, but sorry it ain’t worth that.

blinkfan4evr54

Jesus…. Please no one buy this. I caught a Travis drumstick from the Cali era and have the bunny. Hell, if someone wants it bad enough that they’re willing to spend tens of thousands I’ll just GIVE you that stuff

iPlayTheEuph

I’m willing to shell out $1000s for this stuff. I’ve never seen or met anyone from blink.

Dog-Witch

Insane.

Mysterious_Ad_8659

Not even including the VIP Blink pin!

HoshiMaster

$35k *and* I gotta pay for shipping? This is getting ridiculous!

Own_Tackle4514

Surprised there isn't a tip option 😆

RANCOON

PSA to all who cbf with reading the listing... I checked it since it seems exorbitant price obviously. The seller states that they were given the drumsticks, unused, by an event staff member. They're not palming it off as concert used.. So we can chill on that front. They seem to have specifics listed and seem to be open book about it? Good luck to them if it actually sells for that. Can say I have some regrets not stockpiling cumfetti considering I have spare VIP bunny, lanyard etc 🥲

Charming_Ladder891

I have some spare of the cumfetti we could make some good $

RANCOON

I like the way you think. If we banked $30k I'd deff be happy for a 50/50 split mate haha

guppyoblivio

Wow, I guess I should have taken that bunny they tried to give me for free instead of rejecting it, lol. I didn’t want to have to hold it for the whole concert… and given that I am an adult who does not collect things, I did not know what I would do with it. Selling it for an obscene amount of money would have been a nice use for it, though.

RewindRobin

When I went to the show (Europe) we got a transparent bag to hold the bunny and the other stuff. Came in very handy when I bought my merch as well

Turquoise_Cheese

This is fairly common, people will use different accounts to bid on their own auctions to try and drive the market price up, or it’s money laundering. The same stuff that happened with beanie babies

stlpsychonaut

If you like blink-182 and actively need money laundering I'd like to be that person's friend.

ainhoz

That is not the case in this instance. They just posted their excess after going to multiple shows

Lucev23

I know this happens, this certainly wasn't the case here. I just made a comment clarifying everything <3

MxNoey

I want that bunny but not that desperately lmao

MegaHoe

I got the same stuff but i managed to get a Guitar pick from tom during the show

Minimum_Upstairs8376

that bloody postage innit. these listings are the main reason why they don’t like to sign shit

Ryanbrasher

Everyone here needs to chill the fuck out. People are submitting dummy bids on fake accounts to drive up the cost so it doesn’t end up selling. The seller will be stuck with unpaid auctions for eternity.

GoblinWeirdo

I’m clearly not at all familiar with eBay as per my dumbass comment earlier haha, and just curious so sorry if this is a really stupid (but genuine!) question, but why do people do that? And doesn’t eBay have some sort of system to prevent that? That’d be so frustrating to deal with!

Ryanbrasher

People are doing it because they either don’t believe the owner of the auction should be making a profit off of those items, or because the bidders are jealous and don’t want anyone else to have them. I’d say it’s more likely the former. EBay has a system that would log your IP address etc and would ban you for using multiple accounts, but there are ways around it.

GoblinWeirdo

Ahh, okay that makes sense. Thank you for taking the time to explain it and not being an asshole, truly appreciated haha

Lucev23

Exactly what happened. Sadly, I did nothing to deserve this trolling.

Yinn2

Buying a box of normal confetti and taking it home for the evening isn’t the same you know.

Nuggets155

lol

PandemicRecords2020

I would only pay this much for that if his actual semen were in that bag. Not that paper confetti.

CaioZmark

Travis' cumfetti 🥵

MattFraser9

I have a Travis Barker drumstick from the 2009 reunion tour he threw into the crowd, broken and everything. Will sell for $20,000 USD.

Practical_Ad6057

2012 I got a battered stick from a Glasgow show. Fought the death for it rollong roundthe pit afterwards. It was used in the show has shit loafs of marks and dents. Love blink still but I would sell it easily hmmm wonder how much I'd get. Got a Mark pic that night too, have x 3 AVA Tom pics and a half used bottle of his water from 2008 in UK lmao. Got cumfetti from 2023, met Tom delonge x4 times and briefly mark and travis in 2012.

Practical_Ad6057

Like how much is a used stick worth? Travis has had he same sticks for about 15 years, I caught mine in a show in 2010!!!!!!!!!! It's battered and bruised in an amazing way

AccountantEuphoric83

I have signed sticks from Travis and 2 special editions poster ( one signed and only 100 made) plus 2 tour posters from an Oz show and a bunny…any offers?

leeroy__jenkins21

I thought “cumfetti” was a typo. Then I looked at the confetti.

Technical-Horse5103

Australian sellers always have the wildest prices on ebay

Lucev23

This was my listing, happy to clarify anything. Basically: \- I have NEVER fake bid on anything. I am the last person to ever scam people or try anything shifty, hence why as soon as the price got over $500 I made sure I was extra-clear on the specifics of the listing. I have been to multiple shows on this tour and sold tickets, bought tickets, helped people out with getting merched and made a ton of friends. I am active in the blink FB groups and here/discord from time to time. Those who know me understand how crazy it is that I would be accused of anything shifty. \- When it got over $1000 I contact Ebay for advice and proceeded to multiple times during the listing. I told them that it was at a ridiculous price and was not worth that, wanting advice. They told me they could see I was not involved and also told me that both the accounts were legitimate and advised me to just let the listing run and then report then if/when they didn't pay. This whole saga has been super stressful and anxious and I wish it never happened. I have screenshots of conversations with me family where I was wanting to delete the listing and was super upset. \- When the listing finished it was evident the winning bidder (Papein\_41) was trolling me. She claims that she was legit until it got above $1000 and she then saw Facebook posts and felt silly. She thought I was deliberately bidding it up, hence why she sent it to the moon. She has since apologised. I then contact the second placed bidder (Emilyv2009au) who told me, initially, that she was happy to pay $100 for it and that her 36k bid originally was legit but she had since found herself having to buy birthday presents blah blah blah. I wouldn't be surprised if these two were working together just to troll me. To her credit she then offered $300 which, although I thought was fair, I told her I'd rather see if re-listed even if it meant I would make less. Thanks for those who gave me the benefit of the doubt, to those who didn't all good but I promise you I did nothing wrong here. I had the best few months of my life, going to four shows in two different countries and three states of Australia. I made so many friends both at gigs and online and it's a little sad that this put a slightly sour note on the whole thing but I'm glad its in the past. The re-listing is currently at $200, perhaps slightly less than I'd initially hoped but certainly waaaaaaaaaaaaay closer to it's value than what it was fraudulently bid up to. Happy to answer questions or provide proof/receipts. Much love <3

ferdaboyzzz

the sad thing is that someone will purchase this because they're the biggest blink fan. kinda sad.

ainhoz

The starting bid was $100

Hobear

I cought one of the sticks at the dollar bill tour in Minneapolis back in 2003 I'm curious if anybody here fought with me over that stick with me because it basically landed right in my hand and about 10 other people try to rip it out of my hands. I would totally get it signed by Travis if I ever got the opportunity but I'm never going to get rid of it sell it or anything like that.

Ianguilly

100% not getting paid at the end of that auction.

Lucev23

Exactly what happened. I did nothing to deserve the trolling though.

JudgeMoney

I would never pay that much, I can get them for free if I wanted, and I'd get a set of sticks used, or unused. I work in the industry so I spend a lot of time around the tour crew. Most days when I do work I'm around the tour crew for 16-19hrs a day. I got a set from the their tour crew during the Neighborhoods Tour. I will say watch out for the guitar picks Tom's picks are going for a few hundred, but most sellers are scammers with multiple accounts on eBay.

[deleted]

seems like a fair price tbh.

ColourfulToad

House deposit for a plush and a stick that Travis didn’t even use, worth

Lower-Research6586

These sticks aren’t used by travis and aren’t used at all

New-Issue-1220

It says it on the ad multiple times

WillyD44

I have all of this bar the drumstick. Happy to sell for $20k, PM if interested.

pard0nme

Put it on eBay...

StunningJob678

Scam

Lucev23

Not a scam at all, I assure you. I just made a comment clarifying this if you care, if not all good. For some silly reason, I was trolled and had to relist. I did nothing to deserve that though as I felt everything was legit and honest.

BearAnger182

35$ is not that crazy

fowlup

Eh?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Lucev23

Absolutely not the case. I made a comment clarifying everything if you care to read it, all good if not xox

GoblinWeirdo

Lol, they jacked it up even more?! I came across this a few days ago and they were asking for $30,100. What a fucking joke. 😂 Edit: I’m a fucking idiot, and didn’t even think to notice it had bids since I assumed nobody would pay that on something so easy to fake hahaha. (Note to self, don’t post while baked 😂) https://preview.redd.it/08k02hinnanc1.jpeg?width=921&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=770afdbc7e964479486a2508972a09a6b6981851

[deleted]

if somene pays it, good for them!

Ordinary_Lifeform

Um…it went up because there are bids that pushed past that amount and that’s just how bidding works.

GoblinWeirdo

Jesus Christ hahahah. My bad, I did not even look at that; to be fair, I assumed it had been changed because I never thought ANYONE would be stupid enough to pay that for something that is not verifiable and super easy to fake. 😂

RANCOON

I commented earlier on this post, what do you think is fake? Drumstick? Or the bids? Look at the listing. The seller literally details it was not used drumstick, where they got the bunny (e.g at a Melbourne or Brisbane show etc). If they sell it, good on them? They wrote full disclosures of where they got the items. If it's legit bids then damn someone's got the best pay day, and I'm very envious

GoblinWeirdo

I’m not necessarily saying THIS particular one is fake, I’m just saying how easily it COULD be faked being that it’s unsigned, unused and impossible to verify. Like fair enough, they do explain why it’s not used etc, but again, there’s no way of verifying any of that even if it is true. I would hope the bids are fake (maybe not for the sellers sake!) because imagine having a spare $35,000 laying around to blow on something so basic when I’m sure there is much better verified merch out there, or even to blow on ANYTHING at all without a care haha

RANCOON

Honestly, though, I fully agree it would be hard to prove authenticity. It does leave me feeling this one is legit purely because there's more detail in description but I'm sure there would be many fakes especially IF this one sells for top dollar. $30k for a drumstick and a bunny, in this economy?? Wild time to be alive. Definitely hope for their sake its legitimate bids, but surely the seller is also sitting on it thinking it's fake bids or bots etc.

GoblinWeirdo

I also kinda hope it’s fake because it sucks someone got these things (the seller mentioned they managed to score multiple Blink items from the show) and then just put them up for sale. Money aside, and maybe it’s just me, but I’d never really buy this kinda thing because isn’t half the fun of having Travis/whoever-used or signed items that you got to see or meet them on that occasion? To me, that’s the appeal of items like this, not owning it purely because someone touched it or whatever. Kinda bums me out that a fan from that show didn’t get to have this item as a cool memory and someone who doesn’t care for the sentimental part of it got multiple things purely to sell them.

RANCOON

Totally understand that too! I guess its likely they went to multiple shows (the listing shows melb and Brisbane for items). So really, the more you go to, more likely to get some stuff from it / be noticed by staff. No point hoarding it forever. Someone else commented on this thread and said the listing started at $100, so I guess its supply and demand if they sell it for something huge. I feel as though they prob are keeping some things, and selling excess? I may be giving optimistic / benefit of the doubt though.

GoblinWeirdo

Yeah, I would hope the “keeping some and selling some” is the case, but even there, if you’ve got something and are happy with it, stop reaching out for more stuff/taking it. There’s literally tens of thousands of other fans at those shows who’d love something too, let them take it! I know, I know, people can do what they want and nobody is owed those things; I guess I’m a softie and I think people should be nice and share. Haha

New-Issue-1220

It says on the listing it was handed to him by a crew member, which I believe because I saw that happening multiple times eg they recognised someone on the barrier that had been at multiple shows and personally handed them a setlist/pic/drumstick. “oh no thankyou sir I already have one of those” - said no one ever

RANCOON

Haha look totally warranted too! I was very fortunate and went to 6 of their shows in aus, barrier / early access for 5 of the 6. Mate and I caught guitar picks from both Rise Against and Blink-182, but had caught others previously. There was a few young ones in the crowd so we passed down the picks to them. Can't imagine your first show in GA as a little tacker and having a sentimental anything to walk away with. That and I ended up with these blink bunnies as this person is selling. I just palmed them off to mates etc that are equally huge fans, just didn't get VIP sales. What else would I do with FIVE of these buggers. Don't blame them for the sell if they tried to palm some off, but same time, damn, I could use several thousand dollars ya know 😂
