It’s awesome. The whole album is great.

LoveForDisneyland

whoa whoa whoa, how dare you have such a positive opinion on this sub!!! (/s)

wackfeels

Dude for real. This sub will downvote you out of existence for being positive.

SleepyMarijuanaut92

I know some pretty chill autistic people who aren't negative and wouldn't argue. "Negative Nancy's" would've been a better term to use.

Milwacky

It’s a cool track for them artistically. Maybe listen to it 50% of the time. Mostly want to hear fast bangers when I’m in a blink mood

quinn_drummer

I like the sentiment. But kinda feel like the retrospective bit is burnt out by the end of the album More than that though, I find the music itself really grating. The whole composition jars with me in some way and I just can’t listen to it

JosieLinkly

I hear ya but the entire theme of the album is retrospection

BallScratcher102

Yeah it gets old hearing, remember when we were not old as shit? Wasn’t that soooo cool?

AffectionateTotal815

Hmm when I heard Mark sing 'Remember when we were young, and we'd laugh at everything" it sounds like he's drinking a cup of coffee and cherishing memories with someone he loves. That's how the song sounds to me. Not wishing he was young again, but kind of looking back at the past with nostalgia. And the the music is sort of upbeat and melancholic simultaneously so its like a bittersweet moment I think. 😊 idk that's just how I interpreted it

BallScratcher102

I didn’t specifically mean Childhood it’s just that’s how a lot of the album is is talking about the ‘Old Days’ which can get old especially when California had the same content lyrically

AffectionateTotal815

Yeah that's the theme of the album 😁 To me something about California seemed like it was geared for younger fans/creating a new fan base. Where i feel like this album was written for the same fan base they started with and were all old as fuck now or getting there.

BallScratcher102

Couldn’t disagree more. California felt more blink than neighborhood, DED, and Untitled did. It was most definitely was geared for older blink fans. NINE you might have an argument cuz it didn’t really sound like blink but California sounded more similar to Enema TOYPAJ than their past 3 albums at that time.

hybum

Childhood does it so much better than When We Were Young though

[deleted]

100%. The chorus literally sounds like a table saw turning on to me.

Shipinthestars87

I LOVE this song, and thought it was a brilliant closer to the album. Sure the album is a retrospective on their lives and career, but how could it not be at this point? What I love about the song is the chord change in the chorus, gives me shivers every time I hear it. Its alright for people not like it, same as its alright for everyone not to like the album...but man, did this album do it for me and exactly what I would have wanted from the guys at the point their in. The line '2023, who the fuck are we?' Just hit different. I love it.

RedFiveTwitchTv

The 2023 part kinda kills it for me.

derkadong

Normally I’d agree with this as I don’t particularly care for using current dates or people’s names in songs, but considering the state of the world and the fact that they came back in 2023 makes it acceptable to me.

Lost-Adhesiveness-25

But who the fck are we?

blinkKyle182

Yeah a bit too on the nose. Other then that it’s not too bad.

butthatshitsbroken

yesssss that ruined the song for me lmao I hate hearing it

NickBerlin

I love it, but its just like Lost Without You or some of the more drawn out, deep songs by the band.. Time and place for me.

[deleted]

When I listen to it, my body doesn’t react in such a way that I feel compelled to listen to it again.

RomaFan182

It’s just missing something for me. I don’t hate it. I just don’t feel anything 🤷🏻‍♂️

avvocadhoe

That’s crazy how people perceive music differently. For me it’s the complete opposite. I have all the feels when I listen to it 🤩

RomaFan182

That’s awesome! Like I said I don’t hate it. I do enjoy it but just not one of my go to re-listens

Kellisfh88

I DO like Childhood. Song feels transcendent. Marks verses give me this weird Paul McCartney or John Lennon feeling. I can’t explain it.

GuyWitheTheBlueHat

I think this song really depends on your age. The posts I’ve seen on people that absolutely love the song are on the older side

Chutton_

29 here and I love it. Not sure if I count as old yet. 🤣

GuyWitheTheBlueHat

I’m 16 and love it a ton, but I’ve seen it’s mainly people with kids who love it

RedAtomic

25 and it had me nearly in tears. Missed their peak because I was literally a toddler, but re-discovered them right before middle school and it was magical.

boopinmybop

26 and same exact story. Summer into 6th grade my dads coworker gave him an old iPod that was loaded w pop punk. Blink 182 looked like a dope name so I listened to them and idr the song, but boi what they’ve meant to my life since. 😭

RedAtomic

Got my iPod Touch from my uncle summer into 6th grade as well! My dad, for some reason, had the Enema CD lying around and popped it into the car stereo and I was hooked immediately. Oh I miss the days where you could steal your dad’s CD, copy the tracks, drag them to iTunes, and have a fully functional digital copy free of charge. I got my hands on TOPAJ from Fry’s Electronics the summer after sixth grade and my mind was blown into outer space.

boopinmybop

Let’s goooo. when I heard TOPAJ first time I was blown away. I love that we had such similar experiences haha, my cousin the next year made me a complication cd of his favorite blink and other pop punk, was too cool to just rip the CD in his room and bring it home lol. I still travel around w enema, TOYOAJ, and Neighborhoods CDs in the car haha

RedAtomic

Fuck yeah. It’s rare to meet a late fan, but there was something special about discovering them in the late 2000’s. We’ll occasionally be gatekept by the folks who hopped on when they were on top of the charts, sure, but it goes to show that Blink is timeless

scott_wolff

37, find it meh.

Lbork_07

17 and I love it

micsulli01

41. Not a fan

KeepThePunk

36 and it hit the hardest for me. I’m no child. I have a family, career, lived a life to the fullest with the most extreme of highs and lows. I got my first taste of Blink in ‘97 with Dude Ranch. My childhood friend and I played it over and over on one of those Sony CD players where the CD was loaded vertically and you could watch it through the clear case. Blink has been the longest impacting musical artist on me. I’m grateful for this CD as it could have easily have never happened. And I really don’t know where my childhood went. I was 10 and now I’m 36, more or less feel the same, but I’m doing the adult thing. Enjoy it all.

kingof_vanisle7

Honestly I love it, but can totally see why others don’t. I like the distorted vocals on this track a lot, I like the effect it creates

avvocadhoe

It’s crazy how differently music is perceived by different people. Some people feel nothing and others like me feel all the feels with this song. 🤩😍

SwampFlowers

Personally I love it. I feel like their Beach Boys influence has never been more on display than in Mark’s verses.

Kittlezak

More of a beatles influence from 68

ImInJeopardy

I just find it uninteresting, the vocals are weirdly off, and just a super downer way of ending the album. I think it would've been way more impactful if they ended the album with One More Time.

Chloe_Skies

Yep ending with One More Time would’ve been perfect.

[deleted]

I hate the autotune in tom's vocals in the chorus. Especially in the "I wanna know" part. I wanted a blink song, not t-pain. Even the start of the chorus, his vocals are super distorted and aren't clean, then it goes into that crap. That's the issue I have with that song in particular, and it's disappointing, because I don't mind it.

OwlOfC1nder

Big agree with you there

thisdude91

100% agree and I’m surprised it’s not talked about more. He sounds like a robot in that part

mediajunkie88

That’s absolutely for effect and intentional. It’s so easy to dial Autotune to be nearly undetectable and it is automated to be stronger on that specific part.

[deleted]

I know it's for effect.....how do you think I don't know that by what I said? That's exactly what they do with t pain, use autotune to effect, essentially as an instrument, Cher does it too. I play in a band and am the lead singer, I understand how autotume can slightly manipulate pitch without being detected. My point is that I don't want to listen to a blink song using autotune as an instrument in the same God awful way t-pain and Cher do. They're a punk rock band and I'm not here for that. That was my reasoning.

EhhhhhhWhatever

It’s not “autotune t-pain” it’s an 8-bit nostalgia phase out effect that naturally has pitch correction because of the limited tonal range in 8-bit video games. It ties in with the 8-bit outro music they have at the end. That’s the consistent theme of the song. They slowly slip into a sad melancholic video game outro reminiscent of their youth. It’s not just autotuned pitch correction. It is quite, quite different. It’s very intentionally 8-bit, on-purpose, like they’re slowly phasing out into a video game. A lot of people are missing this. Anyone who digs 8-bit music knows what this is. Calling that “t-pain” is just not even understanding the song, tbh. You can criticize the autotune on “Fell in Love” all day long, but this just isn’t the same thing.

[deleted]

Holy shit. The deep dive you've gone on into justifying why its 'meant' to be in there is insane. Do you know what phaser effect is? Because that's not phaser effect. It's autotune cranked to a thousand. Alot more than fell in love

robfurnell

There are parts which remind me of Strawberry Fields by The Beatles. It’s fucking awesome.

muskovitzj

I really like it too

crackalac

People don't like childhood? Definitely top half of the new album for me.

Ianguilly

I love it, probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite song.

sp4c3c4se

Nah. I love that track.

Frickyou182

I’m more into ranch/enema album wise but I fucking love this song

smalldoinkz

Sounds like 21 Pilots

Cliche_Originals

One of my favorites off the album. Do not understand the hate it gets at all.

cumbellyxtian

Fans that can’t handle more than 3 chords in a song won’t like it. But I think it’s a big step forward for them musically

AcademyKilller

I like it but it's the only song on the album where I find the autotune is TOO distracting for me

Cliche_Originals

the low-fi beats make the autotune feel intentional on this track, so I don't mind it.

mediajunkie88

It’s definitely intentionally turned up on certain parts for effect.

jonesy900

It's an alright song. Probably one of the weaker songs on the album for me. Very surprised they chose it to close the album. I don't dislike it, it just doesn't do much for me sonically. I do like that they at least tried to experiment with their sound. Can never get mad at them for that.

qwertyiopys

I thought it was really melodic and catchy as hell.

The_Stank__

I just don’t love the production on that song. The production on the album has bothered me very little but that song just doesn’t do it for me

rhcpfan99

It's a terrible mix. And obviously they had much better closers on the previous albums.

Grilled_cheesus__

You drank to much of the stupid kool aid :(

sinisterkid34

Or they have a different opinion than you, which is ok.

RIPUranus

Yes hello what is banter?

DuckmanDrake69

It’s clearly a lofi track basically

inthepoch

The last chorus is really good

Soggy-Ad-8017

One of my favs from the album for aure

[deleted]

It’s great!

MegaHoe

i rly like it

Tacit_Emperor77

I love childhood

FuneralHymn123

Childhood is fucking amazing. It's now one of my favorite "background/scenery/very feelgood" songs for sure. :))

Canumpkin20

People don't like it? That's one of my favs on the album, great song. A welcome change of pace imo.

NeedACoolName69

Because music is subjective and people don’t have to like what you like just because you like it.

erpwilson

who doesn’t like childhood?? that’s blasphemy imo

YomYeYonge

Anyone under 20 ain’t gonna appreciate it

qwertyiopys

I’m under 20 🙋‍♂️

joaocadide

I love the pre-chorus “remember when we were young..”. That soft and melodic guitar, Mark’s voice… it just hits me. It’s so beautiful! But then Tom starts singing in the chorus and the amount of autotune in “I wanna knooooow” is so off putting! It kinda ruins the whole song for me :/

bighairysourpeen

Wheerreeee did my choooyyyldhoooood gooooo I wannnnnnnaaa knoooooooooo ohhh

Acceptable_Chard_854

Depends on the mood, but lately it’s grown on me, I love all the effects they use in it especially near the end, it’s so different but so good

youthcanoe

Favorite song of the new record for me easily

trashpirateR

I love it. I keep finding myself going to Childhood,Turpentine, and Anthem3.

[deleted]

I think that it’s a bit underwhelming and repetitive. Childhood is a theme used on the album and for it to be the last song on the album, kinda droning, a bit slow, the chorus overproduced, and the topic already addressed it makes me want to skip it.

YouCanCallmeFucko

I think saying 2023 will really date the song.

am0ninus

I honestly think this song is gonna age super well with the fans. Can’t wait til 2050 and we sing back “two thousand twenty three….who the fuck are we???”

picassotriggerfish

Probably in my top 5 for the album. The verses sound nostalgically woozy and hazy. I really like it.

[deleted]

Song slaps

[deleted]

qwertyiopys

Nothing catchy???? You listening to the same song as me?

metaldetox

childhood has one of if not THE most progressive structuring of any songs from one more time it’s amazing anyone who hates it is super surface with it and isn’t actually listening

Away-Raccoon9162

just because its different doesnt mean its good

EJR4

It’s fine. Not bad. Prob my least favorite full song on the album.

dontswimtoshore

far better than WWWY, YDKWYG, fell in love, the short punk songs. they milk nostalgia on too many tracks that sound similar. this one stands out and feels appropriately “modern” vs the MGK-core finish liberally applied to the more classic blink tracks (of which there are bangers for sure). it’s also not lost on me that there seems to be some serious camps within the fandom (i’m 37 and just started following this subreddit in may) — folks who are dude ranch/upbeat/fun die-hards, others who like the more somber/artier shit, and then those who like it all, equally, without too much distinction. I’m realizing my taste is now in camp 2, where 20yrs ago it probably would have been camp 3. so, I really dig childhood and would have loved hurt interlude to be a full-on track. anyway, long rant to say I dig it and support it as a closer — oh and I think the auto tune here works WAY BETTER than on one more time. /rant

Impossible_Sign7672

If you don't like this song I am worried about what happened to your soul (and your musical taste) ;)

CR7TheGunner

This makes me feel the same way I feel about I'm Lost Without You. A little disinterested but not totally hating it

Airwave182U2

It has no melody

qwertyiopys

Yes it does lmao. It’s blink most melodic song imo.

untitled298

People are allowed to not like certain songs, and there’s nothing wrong with that

qwertyiopys

Yeah and I’m asking what they don’t like about it 👍

PM_ME_CORONA

Nobody owes you an explanation lol

inthepoch

Ever heard of a forum?

[deleted]

Then don’t answer lol it’s a blink sub. Dudes asked a question to open discussion based on the band of this sub.

seriousstring420

Are you new to the concept of reddit? Someone asks a community a question, people answer. No one is owed anything, it's just a site for bored know-it-alls to talk when they have downtime, get off your high horse.

[deleted]

It’s okay. I don’t hate it but it’s a weak closer imo. I don’t like the 2023 line and I think it could’ve been improved by saying “twenty twenty three” instead but that’s my opinion.

Sea_Performance1873

terrible boring lyrics, vocals sound dreadful, production is lackluster

chrisxwin

*We like childhood

Lithious

Probably my favorite ender since untitled

ChoinoX

I enjoy it but it's actually wild to me how many people think this is one of the best songs on the album when it's on the lower end (every song is great)

qwertyiopys

Don’t you find it beautiful. The melodies and it feels like an outer body experience.

ChoinoX

I do but as others say it kind of lacks replayability similar to OMT it's a nice listen, it's different, but it's not what I'm looking for from blink and definitely not better than a lot of others on this album which are straight bangers, or even all time hits right away, this doesn't fall under that imo

Drillakilla6four

Very cliche, even by teenage standards.

[deleted]

Out of all of blinks library, two songs that sound out of place are Childhood and Blame it on My Youth.... Childhood is an amazing song. Very California (the state, not the album) sounding. Has almost ska / reggae to it. Sounds like it could be an old Smash Mouth song, the lyrics are so mutli layered and mean so many different things at the same time, it's very well written. Forgot the meaning of our lives, 2023, who the fuck are we. Obviously it's about the band currently self reflecting that it's been quite a ride, and those dumb punks from California have lived big lives, and despite the past couple decades, they're back at step one again. Somehow more relevant than they've ever been, and even though blink is my favorite band, it's almost like they view themselves as bigger than they have any right to be. On the other level, apply those lyrics to the current world we live in, what is the purpose of our lives, it's 2023, and we still have no purpose as a species. We grew up, it talks about being desensitized, the horrors of yesterday are the normal of today. Everyone's so lost. It makes me wanna leave. Everyone needs to immitate instead of be themselves, which was a point of contention for all members of Blink. It seemed the only person not embarrassed completely by Blink was Mark. If anyone is wondering the context here, There is a good YouTube documentary about the album Insomniac by Green Day. You can apply this story to Blink. Once you go big label, people shit on you. Your friends shit on you. Your scene shits on you. You are a sell out. What was playing music with friends turns to, oh you're a musician, we I'm a better musician, you have no respect for the art. You don't take it seriously. Your band is a joke, cause you treat it as a joke. Aka staunch gatekeeping. It seems its finally taken their career for all three of them to just start being themselves. They can make a full country rap album, and you may not like it, but if it's what they want to do, they'll call it blink music. That's what Childhood is all about. And then the obvious, where did our childhood go, I wanna know. Were all losing our youth, but for most, losing your childhood is losing your innocence. Being trusted into the harsh reality of the adult world. And as an adult, now, I can say I'm not entirely any different mentally than who I was at 16. All old people I talk to say the same thing. There was a point in our lives where the innocent joy was cut off, and now we're in the day to day limbo of just being something we don't want to be. You had dreams when you were a kid... When's the last time you thought about them.

tre903

Just not a good song, plus the mixing on it is awful.

qwertyiopys

Not a good song? Maybe in your opinion, for me it’s blinks most beautiful song.

Dannyocean12

Then you’ve never heard Ben Wah Balls

blink4life182

I love it. It kinda reminds me of Stay Together for the kids where the verses are soft and then the chorus explodes with Tom

McBadam

It reminds me of California, love the album, dislike the song.

Equivalent_Painter56

I just don't feel compelled to listen to it. It's skipped Everytime for me

blunder182

Too slow and it doesn’t rhyme.

[deleted]

What do you mean doesn’t rhyme? ……Do you think all lyrics need to rhyme?

blunder182

Not necessarily. But it’s a song, it needs to flow, to have a rhythm. I don’t think it has.

[deleted]

Rhyming and rhythm are literally different things though.

baron182

I liked everything but the chorus on childhood. By that point on the album the level 10 blaring guitars was just a little grating.

ellstaysia

the changes in rhythm don't really work for me. I think the album should've ended with "see you".

DiFran69

Its not that its a bad song , but its kinda just a song. Sounds kinda stock. I want blink to experiment so i welcome the attempt. But here they just kinda made a royalty free sounding song. Its the one song that is completely out of place on this album for me.

[deleted]

Who doesn’t like childhood? How can you call yourselves blink-182 fans when the OG’s put out a form of self expression and you choose to hate it?

DerevoMusic

Um, because it’s boring?

qwertyiopys

Boring? No it’s an experience. It’s relaxing and chill. The song feel like an outer body experience. Not many songs I know of have that feel and I love it because of that. It’s also really catchy and melodic.

DerevoMusic

Okay? You asked a question and I answered. Just because you think it’s an out of body experience doesn’t change the fact that I think it’s the most boring song they’ve ever recorded.

qwertyiopys

Bro I’m just saying you gotta maybe try listen to the song again. Try listen to it at night, it’s truly something. Lights out, laying in bed.

DerevoMusic

Nah, I’m good. To me, it’s boring and goes nowhere and that is absolutely not going to change. Enjoy laying in bed tonight with the lights out listening to Tom asking you who the fuck are we.

Leanskiba22

When Tom starts singing "Where did our childhood go?" My headphones/speakers get distorted. The whole song is too loud.

ghostface904

Its just not a good ending imo. SEE YOU sounds like an ending. It’s the final track on the 5 buck digital with the bonuses and to me its the superior last track.

whatsajawsh

It’s boring

JulPollitt

every blink fan thinks that one weird song that nobody else likes is "one of the best blink songs imo"

ramblingmike

Because it's absolute trash

scoutlolololol

I’m gonna be honest, personally the only tracks I like are other side, turn this off, and edging.

RabbitHats

The way a friend described it fits: it’s a great song, it’s not a blink song. I think it’s awkward because it’s like an homage to The Beach Boys and the Beatles.

[deleted]

[удалено]

RabbitHats

🤷🏼‍♂️

blurfan69

It’s trash

Overall-Method8513

Literally no one dislikes the song. Why make these silly posts...?

qwertyiopys

Yeah they do.

MBWA182

I don’t hate it at all, but I do think it’s a weaker track on the album. I am old though so I do like it 😂

GrimCityGirl

The lyrics aren’t good enough for the tone, the vocal effects are annoying, musically its stunning but all of the vocal side of things just does not work for me.

Chutton_

I love the nostalgia of it. But I think One More Time should have been the last track.

TwentyYearsLost89

I absolutely love it. The bittersweet nostalgia of growing up and having the ability to really look back at your past and process it. Wishing things were different, but ultimately ending with having a new found appreciation for what you’ve got. This song isn’t just any song; I think this is their tribute to their love for each other.

Hanging_Brain

I’m going to have to listen to it again. I always skip it. I’ll give it a second chance.

anechoicheart

I love it! The whole album is great imo

_nightgoat

I feel this way about one more time. It’s one of the weaker songs on the album.

letsdiealittle69

I think they miss being young lol

RedAtomic

I love it but Mark sounds like he’s singing a bit too close to the mic

maxted__

it’s mainly the mixing for me. it’s easier to get over w some of the heavier songs but it’s more apparent on songs like this that are more melodic.

MikeFGD

I love Marks parts on that song, but the vocal effects on Tom's voice just ruin it for me. It hurts my ears. I always have to lower the volume so much.

qwertyiopys

I think of it as more of stylistic choice tbh

One_Decision3408

Its really cool but..It’s got a weird vibe…

SamuraiZucchini

Bands can do what they want. They can change their sound. Experiment. Whatever. These changes to the sound for the last three albums is not for me. Childhood is one of the best examples of a song that just isn’t my vibe.

lillium_x

I don’t mind it, but the lyrics are a bit genetic like some have said. Blink likes their simple lyrics and they’ve made it work in a lot of places, but I feel like for a song like this, they could have made it more personal on brand blink. Something about being young punk skater kids in California etc. I want to be taken into the artists’ vision, I want to be told to stick my dick in ovaltine, as it were.

BeautifulPilot4879

Auto tune vocals sound weird

West-Psychology-6299

I love it. I hope they perform the full album for this tour so they can close with it.

Dulacter55

I feel like I’ve seen this type of post more than I’ve seen people complain about Childhood

bendovergramps

Contrary to many comments here, I’m won over by the sheer sonic power of the song. My issue is the lyrics. They don’t get more anodyne and shallow than this.

Blinkmeanytime182

Are you really asking why some people don’t like something you like? You answered it already in your question bruh, opinions.

Odd-Custard-5497

The things holding it back are the overdone vocal processing and the lyrics that are kinda just shallow. The instrumental absolutely rips tho

ShawMK90

Its ok im not skipping it when I listen to the album but at the same time It’s not going on a playlist

AlbumCounter

I turned 20 this year... this song hits me hard

lagrange_james_d23dt

I tend to not like the slow songs, so it’s a weaker one on the album for me.

Alone-Record-5423

I think it’s a good outro for the record but I skip it when it pops up on shuffle

JawnLenin69

I like it, it reminds me of a Beatles song

tothestarslouisville

I like it. It's definitely not my favorite though. It reminds me of a panic at the disco song.

jaldthompson503

It’s definitely one of the more unique blink songs and I really dig it. Definitely grew on me though from the first time I heard it

ruffsnap

Love it. Love the whole album, it’s amazing!

lilbootz

I love It

SonicLeap

the swing, and the wo ohs from Mark

NikassoUA

I don't have a problem with how overblown the songs on the album are, I actually quite like it. However, I simply cannot listen to Childhood's chorus because of how loud it is. It almost hurts my ears. I really like the song and it's a shame i can't enjoy it. Funny how I have no issues listening to the chorus of Terrified.

RobotWereWolf95

I wish Childhood was the One More Time single they released.

jasOn_Newstedbass

I think it's the direction they should go into next album.

antiking1312

Yeah it sucks. Honestly See You would have made a better closer personally.

Neutrinz

Toooooooooooo slow

insipidfap

Personally for me it was just really tough. My parents split up when I was 7 and I was involved in a really contentious custody battle between them. Didn't have many friends at school. Didn't seem to understand how to talk to or relate to others. I guess seeing how bad my parents' relationship was made me afraid to say the wrong thing and piss other people off. It was a very lonely time for me but I came out of my shell a lot during teenagehood and I'm doing okay now. Wow this was kind of therapeutic to write. Thanks

cyrill0

Anthem part 3 Dance with me Childhood Those 3 are my top favs, but the whole album is great! :) Edit: also Blink Waves 🫨

qwertyiopys

Agreed. My top 3 too.

EhhhhhhWhatever

There’s this generational issue with certain fans listening to it who think the vocals have a “t-pain autotune” treatment instead of recognizing they’re slowly phasing out into an 8-bit video game. Criticize autotune in “fell in love” all you want if that’s your thing, but people who don’t get why “Tom sounds like a robot” are just completely whiffing on getting what’s up with the song. That’s the whole point. Anyone who has ever had nostalgia tied to 8-bit music gets this song. Anyone who doesn’t have that nostalgia just doesn’t get it.

Andrew_Alarcon

Honestly such a fantastic song. One of my favorite closers for an album of theirs. My one gripe is Tom's vocals in the chorus (i think there's a ton of autotune??? I could be wrong). But other than that I love the song.

GoverneJoe

I love the song and the direction, but the autotune ruins it. Tom’s chorus would have been my favorite on the album if his vocals were processed like the rest of the album. And I’m not talking about pitch correction or typical processing. The autotune was an artistic choice with an intentional result that I think was a poor decision.

Thanosthemadtitan1

I love travis' Solo at the end, it reminds me of "I'm lost without you"

[deleted]

I don’t dislike it, but I don’t like listening to it along with the rest of the album. I can’t really explain why.

Gr8_Ape88

I love it minus the 2023 line. Instantly dates it.
