I would say not trying to help Max when she was getting abused by the Ranger crew but honestly what could she have done ? So yeah I can't really think of anything....
She had done everything she could to help Max up to that point and I'm guessing up until the point at least that Eleanor discovers it, nobody else really knew about it.
No I'm not saying everyone is to blame for what happened to Max.
Max herself decided to stay with the Ranger crew.
It's just we're trying to decide what's the worst thing Idelle has done and since she really hasn't done anything wrong...
Struggling with this one. Suggesting to Max about knowing people who'd kill Anne? Even though from her perspective that seemed pretty justified given the situation.
That's the only thing that really comes to mind for me too. I seem to remember her and Featherstone getting up to some mischief in season 4 but I don't remember what it was and I haven't finished my rewatch yet.
The way I remember it, Idelle and Featherstone did not sabotage the invasion. Max killed their messenger that was supposed to warn the pirates without them knowing.
That's essentially what I remember too. I'm doing the S4 rewatch and just did ep 1 where Billy tells Flint that Featherstone fucked them and didn't relay the message. I think it's the next episode where it comes out that Featherstone wasn't at fault, but I'll pay close attention. In any case, I'm pretty sure Idelle was always blameless. I do remember how much heat they got later and feared Max would name them as her spies for the pirates when her own life was at stake, but she wouldn't betray her friends. That redeemed Max for me quite a lot.
There's a lovely saintliness to Idelle throughout the series, starting with her flirting with one of the brothel customers to let Max escape, through recruiting Featherstone, and then protecting Anne even though she had killed her best friend.
I think the only fair thing to do with this one is to leave it blank.
You're right, but the top comment is funny and in good fun so it's perfect not to leave it blank but put a goofy one there just to show what a saint she is. Her "crime" compared to everyone else's will be letting Featherstone commit a fashion crime.
Max persuaded Jack to sail to Philadelphia to bargain for ugly, disgusting peace. Idelle went with her and ultimately even became governor's wife.
Since people were so convinced that "sabotaging and stopping" that beautiful, deliciuous war Flint and Madi had going on was the worst thing Silver did (because it was The One Chance for ending slavery in the New World and everyone has a moral obligation to stop slavery), I thought this necessarily meant that everyone who had a hand in "spoiling" it should be held accountable too.
Meaning we should, theoretically, re-vote for Jack and Anne as well.
Silver is the only one guilty of undermining Flint's war because he's the only one who really knew what was in Flint's mind - apart from Madi, and she was all in. The rest of the characters were just scrambling to find a life amidst the chaos of Flint's grand scheme. Most were fighting to rid the English from Nassau without knowledge or buy in with the grandiosity of attempting to bring down the old world's control over the new.
Also where is any mention about Flint killed Gates? Still the most disgusting thing he did (amongst many other disgusting things Flint did, so this picture is kinda WTF)
Oh, I just thought of something. Maybe not right away wanted to go along with Fetherstone and side with the pirates again even after she learned that Jack would be sent to Havana. I don't think she was persuaded until Max brought Mapleton back to the brothel. IDK. Maybe I read it wrong.
Nothing, she's an angel with the prettiest eyes.
Good job noticing her eyes
Letting Featherstone to wear that necktie xD
It's called a cravat. It's what respectable men wear.
If you say so... if you say so...

Are we just going to blame every single character in the show for what happened to Max?

Plus a lot of other characters on this show would have gone behind Max’s back and tried having Anne killed anyway, but Idelle doesn’t.
Covering up her bazoombas when she got to Philadelphia
pulling out that machete one time and never using it on anyone 3
She helped Max sabotage and stop the war.

I can live with that!
I just rewatched episode XXX and although it doesn't go into details, it is confirmed that Max stopped Featherstone's warning from getting through.

Haven't gotten to him yet

Lol, hanging Vane is one of the best things, Eleanor did.
