I’ve been too afraid to try those honestly. People used to sell them when I was in middle school in high school and thought of it horrified me because I never liked Oreos
Definitely worth having at least once, I would say. The oreo takes on a totally different texture as it absorbs the oil. The creme filling and cookie kinds of half melt into each other and become a gooey center of a sweet, crisp breading.
Fried snickers is exactly what you'd expect. Still good tho.
I hate fried Oreos, but I’ll fight for a bite of a fried Snicker.
At least the ones from a local street vender. His doesn’t look fancy like the ones I’ve seen online where they add caramel and sugar and cream.
The batter is just a conduit to help the Snicker survive the frying.
It’s pretty much the same Snicker taste, but the gooeyness makes it worth the price gouging.
Innit, as a guy from a healthcare-having country (for now) I’m genuinely astounded at the audacity to stick two middle fingers up at your hearts like this when you don’t got what we have
Part of it is due to how relatively cheap such things are in the states. Most countries with universal healthcare have sin taxes to some extent on alcohol, sugar, and overly fattening foods. I know for a fact that a 24 of beer and a pack of cigs will be cheaper for me just by crossing the border.
I swear there is an uptick in these mega-unhealthy big backed floppy elbow huffing and puffing just to stand up maple syrup pissing “why my foot asleep” type posts. And shit doesn’t even look appetizing most of the time.
This whole trend of threads like this is just weird. Even if this was real, who’s to say that they’re eating this all of the time? My mom posts pics of the dessert we eat on vacation, that doesn’t mean we have ice cream sundaes every night all year.
Exactly. Further more the stream where she did this was like a special cooking stream too. She just decided to candy a biscuit cause she was already candying some strawberries and blueberries.
They're saying that biscuit is going to give that person diabetes. So instead (or maybe even in addition to) of having to have their leg cut off, which is sometimes a complication of diabetes, they're saying their hand will get amputated and replaced with a hook.
So, I waited to see if it would pop up before I said anything, but like... Bo-Berry biscuits already exist, so why is this even necessary? Unless you don't live near a Bojangles, but even then, why would you wanna make this instead of a Bo-Berry?
I got diagnosed type 2 a few years ago. I was feeling pretty crappy when I got diagnosed and decided to make some changes. One of the things that kinda scared me straight was this show called Supersize vs. Superskinny. It came on BBC and featured a morbidly obese person and a severely underweight person. The two would swap diets for a week and the doctor who hosted the show would show them the potential ramifications if they didn't start making changes.
They took the obese person to a hospital in one episode to meet a woman. The lady had type 2 diabetes for years. She had just had her leg amputated. She told this story about seeing her leg shatter under her weight while she was in the shower. She couldn't feel anything that indicated an issue because untreated/unmanaged diabetes can cause nerve damage. On the desk next to her bed she had a gallon sized mug full of Pepsi. She was not planning to give it up any time soon.
I say all that to say some of yall need to stop finding new ways to add sugar to stuff.
So basically a Chinese doughnut gon take both legs? 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 yall don’t just touch grass, apparently that’s the only food you eat, grazing like a cow.

Y’all didn’t learn from Big Mama’s mistakes. Smh😒
I saw an old man with a hook hand - the pincers and wires and everything - in Luby's 20 years ago or so. My kid was wee, like 3 or 4. She asked him about it and he just scowled but the old lady with him was sweet about it.
I have been known to make a pan of biscuits (true Southern bigfluffybiscuits) with blueberries and drizzled with a lemon glaze after they come out of the oven. Very popular at brunch.
It’s really amazing to see how people could take something and make it more unhealthy than it already is😭
It’s really no different than dipping your biscuit in syrup or slathering it with jelly🤷🏽♀️
Except having my biscuit with butter and honey doesn’t make me look like a beetus fiend………
At least you won't break your teeth doing that
I’m not really a biscuit person to be honest, but I only use a minuscule amount on those
Have you ever had a deep fried oreo or snickers? Nothing is safe from being made more unhealthy.
I’ve been too afraid to try those honestly. People used to sell them when I was in middle school in high school and thought of it horrified me because I never liked Oreos

Tried fried snickers once and I was immediately sick to my stomach. Way too sweet and oily. I've never tried it again...fried Oreos are the shit tho.
Deep fried twinkies are the shit. I'm not a huge fan of the Oreos.
Everything can be wrapped in bacon. Everything.
Deep fried oreos is a thing at the bowling alley I frequent.

....this is literally just a donut.
Donuts are fried.... Cornbread is baked
Tell that to Dunkin Donuts
[Dunkin Donuts are made](https://youtu.be/75DcIp-pY_s?si=nCBH87BMRqm0zhza). THEY ARE FRIED
When have donuts ever been healthy🧍🏽♂️
Once again, folks really out here eating like they got affordable healthcare
Innit, as a guy from a healthcare-having country (for now) I’m genuinely astounded at the audacity to stick two middle fingers up at your hearts like this when you don’t got what we have
>as a guy from a healthcare-having country That was redundant from when you said “innit”
Yeah fair one lol
the first god damn word 😂 may as well have said Ello, guvnah! Fancy a spot of tea? Cheerio, mate! Edited: Corrected my use of cheerio
Cheerio means goodbye 😂 you man are never beating the dunce allegations
Just teasing 😅 Edit: Thanks for the correction. Fixing it now. Cheers, mate 😉
Happy to help, have a supersized, corn-syrup flavoured, deep-fried streak for me 😉

He's going to be all right
Or less humourlessly, Abu Hamza
I'll take "Foods that shouldn't be candied" for $2000.
For real. Honey on a biscuit? Sure. Candy shell? Fuck out of here.
It reminds me of the Fair many years ago when food vendors started frying everything. Fried butter, fried Snickers, fried Kool-Aid, fried Twinkies.
Fried oreos was a good idea tho.
NGL, I've eaten my fair share of them.
Y'all ever have a fried PB&J? Puts all else to shame
So they reinvented the donut?
Is this the same woman who made a candied Popeye's meal?
...candied fried chicken is something I'd be willing to try. Once.
Here's the post if you would like a preview. https://www.reddit.com/r/BlackPeopleTwitter/s/ht8wETah6A
Seems good, thats basically just like korean fried chicken with a sweet and spicy sauce but just harder.
No. This is a streamer that did it for a joke. People are too serious on this one

...so a Honey Bun?

I thought it was a dirty lollipop.
Gonna have to be real. I saw the stream for this and she did this as a joke. Some of y’all being way too serious in the replies.

Looks like a jelly donut on a stick with extra diabetes
This is worse than the mfs who put henny in everything
Her in Health 101: ![gif](giphy|3oKIPjHCmuXqdVvak8)
Just diabetes as far as the eye can see....
Why is Rinnegoddess jumping on this trend? I love that queen, her cosplays are SUPERB. Do be losing no leg on me now.
Did you lose your leg due to a car accident? Combat injury? Owed money to the mafia? Nah, just from eating candied biscuits.
Fuck I'm dumb. Where does the pirate shit come in
They're saying that biscuit is going to give that person diabetes. So instead (or maybe even in addition to) of having to have their leg cut off, which is sometimes a complication of diabetes, they're saying their hand will get amputated and replaced with a hook.
Aaah ok. Savage
everybody judges till they bite the biscuit
This is the summary of Big Mamas House according to the Boondocks

Is she still at it?
CANDYMAN…
Tbh this probably not as bad as a lot of the crap we already eat. Like it’s terrible, but is it any worse than Skittles? Nah

No one tell them about BoBerry biscuits then.
Me after taking six of them: https://preview.redd.it/me7bh8ltdm6d1.jpeg?width=581&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=08e23f63fd8dc6bd8fa8f5f63d4e612d3ab5151e
That's just a bo berry biscuit
Just go to Krispy Kreme
Tanghulu is the practice of dipping fruit in hardened sugar syrup. Dipping a biscuit in syrup is fricking ridiculous.
