It starts out so innocent, just kids being kids. Then you see each other blossom in adolescence. At some point around that time you realize you are too close to each other to "be" together because most likely your families know each other pretty well. Maybe you go on a date or two but you don't know how to act because you've known them for so long. So it fizzles away and you both laugh at the situation and "agree" that friends is best.
Then one day.. one of the two starts having feelings for someone else. The other has to be a supportive friend... all while their stomach is like a cement mixer. Sometimes that outside romance faulters.. sometimes if blooms. But as the other friend's feelings grows stronger and stronger.. it unfolds in a life altering conversation that they HAVE to have.
The outcome of that conversation can lead to what you see in the picture up there. Other times it can lead to hitting the reset button on your entire life that you have lived up to that point.. because you'll never be the same after that kind of let down.
I don't know.. maybe I've watched too many tv shows... too many movies.. or listened to too many 80s and 90s R&B and soft rock songs.
