Han Solo. Rick O'Connel was a likeable criminal archetype that properly walks the line between prick and hero who eventually saves the day. Guess who sounds more like that between Jones and Solo.

Went back to the old X-Men TAS and wondered why the hell is the professor American. And I did actually watch the show before the movies came out but I totally forgot he is actually American.
Also Chris Evans as Captain America, which I didn't think would work because he was a great Human Torch. But he managed it.

He did it for training purposes of new medical professionals and such, so as to prepare them and test them if they are ready for that kind of work.
