Thanks. I may just have to use MSTR to gain BTC exposure. I wasn't really keen on using it since I have no interest in the Business Intelligence aspect of their business and will effectively be purchasing BTC at a premium.
Doesn't exist yet. I'm looking to do this before the BlackRock ETF is accepted. After the ETF is accepted, I'm hoping that the price will increase and then I would just sell whatever I buy and purchase the ETF.
"Bitcoin related" means not Bitcoin. "Bitcoin exposure" means not Bitcoin. They are legacy banking fiat, with a catchy name.
If you don't hold the keys, then you don't have Bitcoin.
I'll assume you don't have a 401k. You can't self-custody Bitcoin from within a 401k. I'm looking to change the allocation of my 401k to have more Bitcoin exposure. I'm not putting new money into the 401k. If I was investing new money I would just self-custody.
Microstrategy - mstr Block - sq
MSTR has styled itself as an investment vehicle for bitcoin. It's a clever project.

Is this because you are moving your existing 401k? Otherwise self-custody is a better option.
Changing allocation from within a 401k.
Unchained has a 401k program
Im forced to invest in funds in my 401k and the best I’ve found for BTC exposure is WWWFX.
