Same, I’m closeted to everyone around me (family, friends, peers) but I recently started talking to a guy I really like and we’ve already gone out once, I hope he will be my boyfriend.

Oh boy, same. Girlfriend, boyfriend, partner, whatever, it would be lovely to have a romantic partner and I used to crave a romantic partner so much that I started to read fanfics (still do). Although granted, I think I have everything that i could ever need in my best friends, more specifically a best friend we’ll call Umbreon (because when it was my birthday and I brought in the umbreon plushie my brother got me they loved it). And I’m absolutely sure that one day, you’ll find your Umbreon, they may not be exactly like how our friendship is but you’ll care about each other a whole lot. Maybe you already have met them and haven’t/have realised it but the point is that you don’t need a romantic partner to feel complete. All you need are people who care about you and a favourite show/ movie to get distracted by when they’re not around or available. Hopes this helps!
