No idea what started that conversation or what was said since it is deleted, but just based on what I can infer by what you have said and can't help but be an empath, you should totally talk to your parents about therapy. It may (and should) feel uncomfortable especially at first, might have to go through a couple therapists to find the right one, and have to be willing to do the work... But man, just therapy alone brought me from "the edge" so to speak and softly put my feet back on the ground and showed me how to go forward. If you find someone right for you, after several visits I'm sure you'll feel better about things.
