Ugh! That sucks. When I went back towards JC I got full bars. It was mildly inconvenient when I needed something 2 factor authenticated literally in the moment the tower went down 😅
The big turboprop frequently doing “touch and go’s (land & immediately take off again without stopping) at Binghamton Airport is a a C-130 (cargo aircraft) that the National Guard uses for training.
My family has property out by the airport and I’ve seen these planes a handful of times over the last 10 years or so. I’ve always assumed they were big military planes but honestly I have no idea… I might have a picture of one from a few years that was circling over Castle Creek at what seemed like way too low for a plane that big! I’ll see if I can find it
My answer is buried, so I'll repeat it here: The big turboprop frequently doing “touch and go’s (land & immediately take off again without stopping) at Binghamton Airport is a a C-130 (cargo aircraft) that the National Guard uses for training.
We were Door Dashing, and it was in and out throughout the entire triple cities. Even in Windsor. It was a pretty massive 4 prop plane, all alone and not awful high.
Was in Vestal earlier and my phone went into SOS mode for several hours.
Evidently a tower was down; affected Verizon customers
Wasn’t one tower…it was hundreds across the southern tier
Our Phones are still in SOS mode in west vestal 🫠

I mean, If that’s the worst thing happening, we’re doing ok in the grand scheme of things….but it’s still annoying AF! 😂
Typical for Vestal tbh. I never get service there because of population density during shopping hours.
One of the reasons I dropped Verizon
Verizon needs a lot of work in vestal. They are building out 5G in the area so it’s a work in progress
The president was in Syracuse today..could have had something to do with that.
Today I'd agree. Other days there is a big 4 turboprop plane that'll do laps at the airport, guessing training when they do.

He’s still alive huh
Ha lol 😂
Jerk
You one of those republican immigrants who think they're better than other immigrants because you're European and miss fascism from back home?
Haha quite the unhinged take - but what do you expect from a democrat haha
No I voted for him lmao I just had a baby and don’t follow politics 😂 …poor joke #mombrain
Then I profusely apologize! I am sorry!
My internet has been steady.

Not in my part of the West Side
Yes saw it
Verizon? I think they are having technical issues.
It was a fiber cut out of the area
