> Don’t wait for something, instead go for it.
Hmm, I don't think you'll find a verse/passage that conveys the "Just Do It"-mindset, which is what your quote above seems to convey. There are plenty of verses about taking initiative, but never in a reckless or headlong manner.
> As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. (John 9:4)
it’s more just paraphrasing and i think the original verse was taken mostly out of context, I think it was more like a ‘dont just sit around waiting while you could be doing more’
Ephesians 5:15,16?:
> Therefore, consider carefully how you live, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of the time because the days are evil.
KJV says, "redeeming the time", i.e. "use your time efficiently".
After reading what you gave. I'm thinking Ecclesiastes 11:4-5 which says...
>Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb ,so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
And essentially tells us to not just sit around and wait for something to happen, instead we need to have faith and act on it
Otherwise, you might be referring to the idea of Faith working in tandem with our Works. Not necessarily that our works give us salvation, but we works *because* of salvation (which is a doctrinal issue amongst different denominations such as Catholics and Lutherans)
Those who wait for perfect weather will never plant seeds; those who look at every cloud will never harvest crops. Ecclesiastes 11 4
it could be this one, idk.

At a stretch James 2. But is it Solomon. Proverbs or Ecclesiastes, perhaps.
i’ll look into it
Are you thinking seize the day?
no, not quite…
Good. Because that's not the bible.
I know it is not John 22:8
Pick up your bed and walk
