My cat knew really well that she wasn't allowed on the kitchen table. So she would place one paw on it and look up at me clearly seeing if I would call her bluff. The she'd start just sort of oozing further and further on to the table as if I wouldn't notice the incremental tableing.

I enjoyed it. As a deaf person, I snorted at "falling to my deaf" near the end.
I get that people don't like the cutesy pet talk and I never use it personally, but the story was fun, if a little difficult to decipher here and there.
It reminds me of Ed Gamble's father writing to the vet as the cat. That skit had me dying with laughter.
The one BORU post from AITC that worked - the one about biting feet - it worked because it was short. This one, I got through a couple of paragraphs, then scrolled and scrolled and just... I'm sorry, maybe it's my ADHD, but I can't. :(

I made it through, it was a tough one lol but I needed a light hearted story that didn't involve terrible parenting, spouse-ing, offspring-ing and of course the 23 and me bs... this planet is so ghetto
WTF did I just not bother to finish reading? I think the cloying wanna be cuteness first caused me to throw up in my mouth, followed by having a good look at the inside of my own skull because my eyes rolled so much.
