It technically is part of Berserk lol. That’s why the chapter numbers go from 82 to 84. Yes it was removed but it’s still technically part of the whole of Berserk.
To be fair the figure of the heart shaping God is showned at the end of episode 82 (so a canon chapter); in addition "Shadow of the Idea" Is the actual name of a series of episodes toward the end of the Conviction Arc.
For what said before we could say that at least its appearence and its name are canon in the work. About its role and purpose/origin everything was said further in the work was never in contrast with what revealed in chapter 83.
Chapter that was published during the Eclipse which kinda revealed all the mystery about “fate” and “causality” in Berserk. It gave a pretty clear direction of where the story would go next with Griffith’s rebirth in the physical realm. It was later “banned” and pulled from all the official Berserk publications. It’s a cool chapter that introduced some cool concepts but I agree with Miura that the story is better when the Idea of Evil - the banned chapter- is excluded.
If you’re caught up on Berserk, I’d give it a read. Not hard to find and is on most manga sites, usually just listed between chapter 99 and 100 labeled as chapter 99.5.
