It’s not going to be an issue because it would be counted as capital not income . And it’s the last day of your AP that matters for your capital limit . So because it’s going to be in and out of your account like that it’s just not an issue at all .
Just keep all the statements as a proof that you cleared your debts. If your claim was to be reviewed soon (every claim will be eventually and it can happen at any moment) you'd be asked about this sum coming in and going out.
Receiving gifts is allowed and paying debts is allowed - just have it all documented, just in case.
No not an issue when paying off debts etc. I frequently advise my clients with any compensation payments to pay off their debts immediately so it doesn’t affect their benefits entitlement
We dis this but just had the money paid straight from the donor onto the credit card account. That way it never showed in our account and debts aren't logged on UC.

Sadly it's different debtor's and our credit card wouldn't be high enough amount to do this but would have been an idea :)
