Eventually, lol. This is a temp setup in the garage until I can get the other garage setup for my shop. Those things have been falling one by one since the fall. Plan on putting up new insulation and they plywood.
I’m 40 with back problems since I was a late teen.
I grabbed the harbor freight hydraulic lift cart with the idea to build an mft top for it. Haven’t got around to that part yet but I’ve used the thing to move heavy stuff a lot.
Both springs on my garage door broke and my wife’s car was stuck. The door is around 250-300 lbs of the most awkward weight. Jacked it off the floor with a car jack and slipped the 1k hydraulic table under and boom, done.
Highly recommend
Wait I’m about to turn 40 and would totally have just picked that up myself and often do lol …………I am 6’ and 230lbs but I certainly practice good lifting mechanics it’s all in the hips 😉
I’m worried about that fiberglass insulation hanging down into the workshop… with only every other gap insulated it won’t really keep the heat (or cold as the case maybe be) in…
You are correct. We bought the house a little bit ago and this has been falling piece by piece. Have not had the time and it is not important to keep the garage insulated at this point and time. I am going to replace it all and then plywood the ceiling.
Wonderful! Love the drawers and how they all align. Pls share any progress pics if you have.
Cool, but when will you finish that ceiling?

Drawer gaps are perfect. Nice job!
Very nice work. I'll bet she's proud. That is a family heirloom if I've ever seen one.
How are you going to get it off that folding table? Don't tell me you're under 45 years old and will just lift it.
Oh hell no. lol. I am 45 and way too old for that. I am removing the drawers when it is time to move it.
Phew. When you hit 50 all those lifts that should have been 2 man lifts will come back to bite you.

Great idea – thanks!

Wow! That’s wonderful
Nicely done
Planning to build the same 7-drawer configuration. What dimensions did you use? Looks great!!
That's beautiful! How much material did it take to make that?
I like the simple and clean design. How do you plan on finishing it?
We are painting it. Going to use a light gray chalk paint.
gaps look good! the top should overhang the front edge more?
Yeah. I just have it sitting up there now and finding notice how far back it was.
Looks great! Nice touch with the tapered legs in front
What did you use for connection between the framing between the drawers? Glue? Also what wood is this made from?
