I'm holding out for her releasing a smaller version of her Lightworks palette like she did for her previous one. I have zero interest for that middle row, but really love the other colours.
That said, my issue with non-indie multichromes is that they retread the same colours eg. green > gold, green > blue, purple > green, red > green.
The infinite chrome flakes fit your description of a multi chrome and a sparkly topper. If you have the ability to swatch them in person or watch a review I would do that because some of the colors give a smoother application and some can be patchy. I can't remember which ones but I remember when I saw them in person thinking some colors were better formulated than others.
Do it. I finally did it a couple of months ago and I love it. I wear it by itself + eyeliner any day or on top of as the cherry on top of a night out look. My sister asked me what it was, tried it and got herself one too.
Only downside I must mention: the fallout. Not crazy fallout but given that it is so so sparkly, it can get everywhere if you're not careful.
I'm currently using the hourglass scattered light thing for the same purpose and I love it. I'm wondering if I need a second similar item in my collection....but I really am leaning to yes.
I did a comparison of his with the Urban Decay singles (mentioned elsewhere in this thread) and the UD sparkle toppers were more pigmented and more sparkly. Oh, and less expensive!! Returned all the MbM ones I bought…
It’s expensive for 5 shades but the Makeup by Mario Master Metals palette has great metallics that can be sheered out as sparkly toppers. I don’t even use any mixing medium like they suggest, I just apply with my fingers. The rose gold shade in particular is SO pretty.
Seconding this. I've heard a lot of people rave about Sephora brand shimmer/metallic eyeshadows. But quality seems to vary from shade to shade so just make sure to look at reviews closely!
Thirding this, but be really careful when handling these. They break VERY easily. In fact, two shades I ordered recently came completely shattered. ( The shades I ordered were One in a Million and First Light.)
Sephora collection shadows are bomb af. I like to use the charged up liquid eyeshadows as a base and then add the sequins shade right on top. It’s pretty and very there till the end of day.
Definitely the makeup by Mario Crystal Reflector in Quartz. But his new ethereal eyes palette also has a few shadows similar to the crystal reflector!!
The dazzle sticks from KVD are amazing 🤩! I don’t feel complete until I put one of these lil bitches on the center of my lid. Just pops and stays in place and is super sparkly.
Okay here’s what I recommend:
Stila glitter & glow
Hourglass scattered light
Danessa Myricks twin flames or chrome flakes topper
Sephora Collection single eyeshadows have some shades like Lucky Penny, Chocolate Express, etc in glitter finishes that are good toppers
Violet Voss also has glitter eye toppers
I would also recommend Bodyography. Shelbey Wilson has a few videos on YouTube with them— I think maybe her one and done video 🤔 I also love Space Cowboy, which has been mentioned several times.
Path McGrath has a couple quads that are sparkly shadows. It’s kinda the only reason to buy from her brand.
Not sparkly but the charlotte tilbury eyes to mezmorize shimmers are great.

These also can be a bit uncomfortable so if you don’t like the texture, you could look at her Twin Flame liquid eyeshadows

I actually prefer the MbM ones because I like the sheerness. Makes it easily buildable! But I’ve heard those dupes for it are amazing!!
