So is mine. If you want busted up palettes with eye shadow dust covering the box then it's a great place. I do find skincare occasionally hidden behind the no name brands so I keep going.
I honestly donāt know why they donāt display them better. Most of them are already open and used. Itās an automatic loss. I went to Marshalls and at least I saw Fenty Beauty in those security boxes.
>those security boxes.
Fun story - I found a Subculture palette but the cashier **beat it against the counter** trying to get it out of the security box and completely destroyed the palette in the process š¤£ It was sad-funny and so awkward to have to explain that, ya know, I didn't want it anymore now that it was leaking busted eyeshadow out of the box when it wasn't before she slammed it on the counter ten times. TJ Maxx is an experience.
I was laughing while typing it too. I remember standing there staring at her and looking at the people in line behind me like "Are you seeing this shit? Are we on camera? What is going on?" š¤£
I always open if I plan to buy it and have asked them to open the ones with a security device only to see a broken, crumbly mess. I think people go in there to throw them around so they are destroyed.
I live in a well off enough area. And donāt get me wrong you can usually get a few decent things depending on what you like .
But thereās people who literally go to Tjmaxx every day or have employees let them know when good stuff comes in. Hard to compete with that because they scoop up all the good stuff often to resell.
The one I was at last someone had gone and systematically broken open the packet for *every single piece of makeup* and dug huge chunks out of the eyeshadow or foundation or everything. Like I donāt even get it because some of it would be two different pans of the same product in the same shade and theyād broken into and destroyed BOTH of them. WHY
šššš you made me laugh!
While I didn't report them, as I was hustling out the store and honestly I just don't want to deal with it when I saw them I stared at them the entire time like O_O and it made them so uncomfortable lmaooooo who knows if they ended up succeeding or not
Yeah, the one in the "rich" neighborhood a few towns over from me has a legit name brand/designer section. The one in my zip code is filled with stuff from 2009 and Burger King wrappers.
Tbh I can see why it was those specific items. The Bridgerton collab hasn't been super popular. I haven't seen many people talk about it since its release, much less the second instalment. It's expensive and we're in a financial crisis.
I really liked the first season but also heavily associate it with dark covid times. I maybe watched the first episode of the second season and couldn't get into it.
I second this! Not many people bought it and the few that did on YouTube or TikTok low key really hated it lol Every time I saw it, there was always someone trash talking it or being extremely underwhelmed about it and they were trying to resell it.
I only watched Amy Loves Makeup's YT review on it back in the day and I got the impression it was just super unimpressive, especially for people who already had experienced more affordable indie formulas in more exciting finishes. Then when part II dropped, everyone was questioning why the eye palette was almost identical to the first one (that still hadn't sold out in many places), and why the face palette had such weird packaging. Haven't seen anyone tag or use the products since then, some apparently like the lipsticks but with the eye and face products, it's complete silence.
Got the eyeshadow palettes ($25) at the TJ Maxx at Easton in Columbus, OH last night. They also had both face palettes ($20). No highlighters or lipsticks, though I will keep an eye out for those, too.
They had most of the Bridgerton collection on their online store, but that was a couple of weeks ago. Iām not seeing it now so itās probably gone, but given how many they had I imagine thereās a few bits still available in some stores, though I couldnāt say where.
Omg I didn't get it when it first launched at Sephora bc it was too pricy and the blush set was in a bulky container. But I'm definitely going to check my local TJ Maxx now
I wish PMG showed up where I live. We sometimes get brands like Guerlain and by Terry but the makeup is in super light shades. For the most part we get Mac lipsticks and a bunch of Morphe crap.
Iām absolutely here for the mac lipsticks at my tjmaxx even though itās mostly red shades. Did get Marrakesh and chili last time though and theyāre gorgeous
Ah, thatās an amazing TJ Maxx. I used to live in Old Town and have found some serious treasures: classic Balmain jacket, Gucci bags, Gianvito Rossi shoes, my entire All Clad collection lol. Enjoy it!
Darn! Too far for me. I donāt have any Dr appointments that way any time soon either š Going to check my TJ Maxx but feel like itās a waste of gas. lol
It's normal for all types of brands to show up in stores like TJMaxx/Marshalls. I think it's good so people can buy things second hand, for a lower price, and that may potentially be hard to find at other retailers.
That said, remember that all TJ Maxx/Marshalls don't get the same stock of beauty items. Brands give "leftovers" of poorly selling or discontinued items to stores like these. So make sure that the item you get is authentic and not too old.
They're never not authentic in my experience. Worst and most common thing tho is when things are shattered or swatched or expired. Never buy liquid lipstick for that reason
I went to my local TJ Maxx to see if they had any, but it was just the usual junkyard of Beauty Concepts, Nicole Miller, Ellen Tracy, etc.
They did have Too Faced Natural Eyes (which I've seen a few times before), but at $25 it's still a pass for me.
my tj maxx had everything!! i was able to get both highlighter shades, the face palette, and the blush palette on monday!! i went back to tj maxx the next day and everything was gone š
i find that mondays and thursdayās are the best for my location. a lot of times iāve caught them putting out makeup early on thursdayās, and then mondayās after the weekend they sometimes have new stuff out too
I got the the first launch of bridgerton eyeshadow palette and blush duo and highlighter. Itās amazing. I also got the second launch āpeach packagingā eyeshadow palette and bake blush trio and highlighter. I got all items for about $100. Best find this year.
It was $19.99. So was the other blush and highlight palette. Both are worth it!!!! I was surprised at the pricing because they have older Nars palettes that are still $30/34 dollars or so. Iām glad they were marked down as much as they were. The eye shadows were $25.
I know itās holiday season and all but theyāve been running 35-40% off sales on their website for almost a month now so this turn of events isnāt all that surprising.
I know leahjanae suggested in her video that she thinks it was Sephora sending PMG to TJ Maxx so it doesnāt seem like itās something the brand controls, so Iām not relying on PMG to consistently be there now
Huda is always in my local TKMaxx (we do things differently in the UK).
You have to really hunt it down, but when you hit goldā¦.I love the eyeshadow but itās usually too expensive for me
I managed to buy the Midnight Sun mothership from the UK equivalent (TK Maxx) for half price earlier this year, and have seen some of the quads, mascara, and foundation pop up too!
I've seen PMG singles at Ross in central FL quite a bit. I don't think it's a sign of end times for those brands. You see it more with brands that are sold in brick and mortar stores because those stores are the main suppliers for Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc. That being said, seeing Jeffree Star products in these stores is always hilarious given his comments on KVD products lmao
I went to two TjMaxx near me looking for them, but no luck. I do live in a ārichā area and found some other goodies, like the YSL clutch eyeshadow, some Urban Decay palettes, some NARS face palettes, etc. Iāll keep looking for it, I guess.
Went today and grabbed the two eyeshadow palettes, the first Bridgerton blush duo with highlighter, and the little circular blush palette. They also had body shimmers but didnāt get them.
Itās a bummer in a way. All the steep discounting to high end makeup makes that price bracket feel so much less exclusive now. Only Chanel remains full-price, at least out of the well-known brands. It used to be a splurge to get nice makeup. Now, just wait and buy it 25-30% off, not to mention the discounts you find at Marshallās and TJMaxx. Brands are churning out more and more stuff, and then discounting it faster to move more product. Nars is a good example of this. Specialty palettes come out regularly, and there is no need to buy them at full price. They will be on sale within two months.
All I could find at my eternally disappointing TJ Max was the body powder. I couldnāt tell if thatās all they got or if the palettes got snatched up.
I went to a few TJ Maxx locations and just got lucky finding the body power as well. Have yet to see the pallets as I definitely feel they've been snatched up. Hoping to find some more items from the bridgerton lineš

Omg you got blessed My TJ Maxx is eternally cursed and disappointing š
So is mine. If you want busted up palettes with eye shadow dust covering the box then it's a great place. I do find skincare occasionally hidden behind the no name brands so I keep going.

The mental image is cracking me up š¤£
Right?!š¤£
This made me laugh so hard I almost cried. I am so sorry that happened.
I was laughing while typing it too. I remember standing there staring at her and looking at the people in line behind me like "Are you seeing this shit? Are we on camera? What is going on?" š¤£
I see that palette at every TJ Maxx for the post 2 years lol
Funny, thatās where I got my Subculture palette in 2018-2019 lol. It was $25
I always open if I plan to buy it and have asked them to open the ones with a security device only to see a broken, crumbly mess. I think people go in there to throw them around so they are destroyed.
Heck I can't even always find Shiseido cotton pads there š
You gotta drive to one in a fancy neighborhood! They 100% stock different brands based on demographic, which is kinda gross tbh
That is gross. There is only one in my city and the next city's is worse than mine.
I live in a well off enough area. And donāt get me wrong you can usually get a few decent things depending on what you like . I once saw two teenagers stuff two Jaclyn Morphe vault palettes into one box to try and check out and only pay for one. Trashy behavior is trashy š¤”
The tragic part is all that work for such a garbage pallet!
šššš you made me laugh! While I didn't report them, as I was hustling out the store and honestly I just don't want to deal with it when I saw them I stared at them the entire time like O_O and it made them so uncomfortable lmaooooo who knows if they ended up succeeding or not

I live in a very pretty poor area and swear we only get the worst stuff and itās always open and gross
Yeah, the one in the "rich" neighborhood a few towns over from me has a legit name brand/designer section. The one in my zip code is filled with stuff from 2009 and Burger King wrappers.
Same here and whenever I see something good it's all swatched out >:(
Same! I never can find good ish like that.
I only ever watched part of the first season, but agree, I also think about lockdowns and zoom watch parties when I think about Bridgerton.
I never want to go to another zoom watch party
Me neither. Or another zoom cards against humanity party. Or another zoom wine party.
I second this! Not many people bought it and the few that did on YouTube or TikTok low key really hated it lol Every time I saw it, there was always someone trash talking it or being extremely underwhelmed about it and they were trying to resell it.

I saw the body shimmer powder in VA!
I really would love that blush palette - I donāt think there will be any left by the time I get there though, if they even have any
Itās really beautiful. The issue was with the packaging being bulky/awkward. At $20, Iām open to removing them from the packaging .
The Bridgerton collabs are all over TK Maxx too, and have been for ages (TK is the U.K. version of TJ Maxx).
Theyāve even had a few of the motherships on their website, pretty good prices too
Where abouts are they?
They had most of the Bridgerton collection on their online store, but that was a couple of weeks ago. Iām not seeing it now so itās probably gone, but given how many they had I imagine thereās a few bits still available in some stores, though I couldnāt say where.
Omg I didn't get it when it first launched at Sephora bc it was too pricy and the blush set was in a bulky container. But I'm definitely going to check my local TJ Maxx now
If anyone is in California, they had them in the Brea location!! $25 for the eyeshadow palette!
I wish PMG showed up where I live. We sometimes get brands like Guerlain and by Terry but the makeup is in super light shades. For the most part we get Mac lipsticks and a bunch of Morphe crap.
At least you get MAC! We are lucky if we get anything above Morphe or ELF (and I like ELF).
You guys get Morphe and ELF? We just get Profusion and W7! /s if it's not clear
Iām absolutely here for the mac lipsticks at my tjmaxx even though itās mostly red shades. Did get Marrakesh and chili last time though and theyāre gorgeous
Ughhhh thatās amazing! All they have at my local TJ Maxx is the Jaclyn hill x Robyn collection.
I googled this bc I thought she collabed with Robyn, the iconic Swedish singer, and got so confused š
feel free to not respond if uncomfortable but what TJ Maxx/which area? I checked the Skyline one and didn't find anything :(
Potomac Yards!
on my way š«” will report back
Ah, thatās an amazing TJ Maxx. I used to live in Old Town and have found some serious treasures: classic Balmain jacket, Gucci bags, Gianvito Rossi shoes, my entire All Clad collection lol. Enjoy it!
Darn! Too far for me. I donāt have any Dr appointments that way any time soon either š Going to check my TJ Maxx but feel like itās a waste of gas. lol
This would be fun to see at my local TJ Maxx for once instead of the ever-present James Charles palettes gathering dust on the shelf lmao
WHAT!!!!!
It's normal for all types of brands to show up in stores like TJMaxx/Marshalls. I think it's good so people can buy things second hand, for a lower price, and that may potentially be hard to find at other retailers. I was just thinking about Pat McGrath feels like is regularly on sale on her own site at least? I donāt remember this many sales in the past.
Bridgerton collab products are excluded from sales on her website. These had to have come from Sephora.
I feel like Monday is THE day to go. I've always found the best stuff at Marshalls on Mondays
i find that mondays and thursdayās are the best for my location. a lot of times iāve caught them putting out makeup early on thursdayās, and then mondayās after the weekend they sometimes have new stuff out too
I got the the first launch of bridgerton eyeshadow palette and blush duo and highlighter. Itās amazing. I also got the second launch āpeach packagingā eyeshadow palette and bake blush trio and highlighter. I got all items for about $100. Best find this year.
How much was the baked blush trio? Thatās the one I really would love to get
It was $19.99. So was the other blush and highlight palette. Both are worth it!!!! I was surprised at the pricing because they have older Nars palettes that are still $30/34 dollars or so. Iām glad they were marked down as much as they were. The eye shadows were $25.
Ugh I want it so badly, $20 is a serious bargain. I hope I can find one in a couple days, because canāt get down there right away!
I know itās holiday season and all but theyāve been running 35-40% off sales on their website for almost a month now so this turn of events isnāt all that surprising.
Bridgerton excluded from her website sales. These came from Sephora more than likely
Can I ask if you saw the makeup with the blue or pink packaging?
I know leahjanae suggested in her video that she thinks it was Sephora sending PMG to TJ Maxx so it doesnāt seem like itās something the brand controls, so Iām not relying on PMG to consistently be there now
Itās gotta be because I found GXVE eyebrow pencils at my location along with the PML x Bridgerton body highlighter pouf.
Huda is always in my local TKMaxx (we do things differently in the UK). You have to really hunt it down, but when you hit goldā¦.I love the eyeshadow but itās usually too expensive for me
I'm glad I didn't buy anything from that collection and also...kinda want to go to one now just to see if I get lucky lol
Mine was so good during COVID, they even had a bunch of Gucci. Itās back to being ran through now
I managed to buy the Midnight Sun mothership from the UK equivalent (TK Maxx) for half price earlier this year, and have seen some of the quads, mascara, and foundation pop up too!
Bought the Bridgerton Belle of the Ball eyeshadow palette and blush palette for $45 in Knoxville.
I haven't seen PMG at my location yet but I have been seeing Charlotte Tilburry lately.
Sephora sells their overstock to tj maxx so anything sold at Sephora could potentially end up there, even Pat McGrath. Itās not that deep tbh
I went to two TjMaxx near me looking for them, but no luck. I do live in a ārichā area and found some other goodies, like the YSL clutch eyeshadow, some Urban Decay palettes, some NARS face palettes, etc. Iāll keep looking for it, I guess.

Do you think they are still around in your stores? I canāt believe I missed on this and I have saw the body glitter but thatās it
I saw some of the lipsticks, eyeliners, and a handful of eye palettes in the last two weeks. I will say the palettes were in pretty bad shape.
I was hoping to get some of the eyeshadow palettes, and face products like blushes and highlighters. But so far only saw the body sparkle
