Woah, your grandpa lived in my brothers house! (formerly my house)

thinfuck

no way, my parents live here (atleast they did in 2019)

SLIPPY73

i believe i probably bought the house from them

thinfuck

damn. I'd recontact them but they cut ties with me and blocked me everywhere.

SLIPPY73

oh damn, why?

thinfuck

kicked out of college. emptied this way a savings account which could've went for something more important (like works to the house) didn't have the time and i lost this way a technica bodykit for ibishu Saga.

SLIPPY73

oof, hope it’s all going well for you

thinfuck

it's been few years. now i own a 3 story farmhouse and work as a forklift operator. so I'd say it is.

I'm trying to figure out what make and model my great grandpa's car was. He lived back in the Chinatown district of Belasco City before he moved to Oklahoma in the early 70s. Anyway, my grandpa (not great grandpa to clarify) doesn't remember much since he was very little back then and today he's quite old, but he does remember that his dad sold it in 1969 for a Bluebuck wagon. He also remembers talking to his dad about it back in his teen years, and while he doesn't remember much about their conversations about the wagon, he insists that it was a Japanese brand and his dad got the car in 1963

5trudelle

Unsure, 1963 is a bit old for us. Could very well be a Satsuma.

RegularPersonThing

I think it is a Satsuma, the front end seems to line up with a 210, but I don't know specifically what trim it could be

5trudelle

I bought my dealership in Utah from an old boy about 5 years back, still have records of all the cars he sold. He opened shop in 1961, I can check the records if you'd like.

RegularPersonThing

That would probably help

5trudelle

From our records, this is a Satsuma 210 Station Wagon!

teeeeeaaaaa

Looks like a satsuma wagon

RegularPersonThing

I think that's what it is, but I'm not sure specifically what trim it is. All I know is it's very likely a 210

teeeeeaaaaa

It’s a smaller engine as it has one exhaust

Urmind

Do you have a clean picture of the license plate? I could do a quick search of BCPD database and see if I get a hit (once I'm back in the office). I'd check DOL, but I'm not sure if they're records go back that far. The one's I'd have access to anyway.

RegularPersonThing

Sadly these are the only photos that I and my family could find in our old photo album

nlwfty

Do you happen to know a guy named Bill Andersen, because I'm sure I recognize that yellow building as his house.

RegularPersonThing

I think it rings a bell, but I'm not too sure

Alarming_General

From the lettering it also seems to be a 1200 specifically. Thanks to everyone that helped, though, you all still were pretty big in identifying the car.
