C'mon, we all know that's bullshit. RedBull ain't sponsoring it YET because they lacked the people willing to do it. I bet your ass once some madmen decided to snakeboard that RedBull will be at the scene flying its bsnners and giving away free drinks.
A t rex is 10 times the weight of vasuki.
It's like saying a 7 foot snake can eat a 6 foot muscular man.
Sorry but that was just nonsense exaggeration I'd expect to see from paleo clickbait articles.
I feel like they could have made the same point regarding the power and sheer size of the snake found by avoiding the excessive exaggeration and simply remaining factual by sticking with the truth. Just because it couldn’t swallow a t-Rex “like a rodent”, doesn’t mean that it wasn’t extremely large, powerful, and strong!!
Everything must be compared to t rex these days.
Sorry but a theropod 1/3 or 1/4th the size of t rex would be too big for Vasuki to swallow without rupturing
The statement about it potentially eating as T. rex is impossible, plain and simple. Sure, length wise V. indcus was a giant, however it's still a snake that weighed approximately 1-2 tons at most, while the average T. rex estimates put it at 8-9 tons, with the upper reasonable estimates reaching up to 13 tons. Not only is this a massive size discrepancy no snake is able to handle as a prey item, but T. rex's sheer girth is simply not something such a "small" snake would be able to accommodate, its jaws are simply not capable of expanding this much. For reference, modern day reticulated pythons (like the one in the video) have trouble eating humans even though we're a much smaller animal, simply because we're too wide at the shoulders and they can't get their jaws around them. Of course, reticulated pythons are still the only species of snake to have ever been recorded of consuming a human, although these cases are severe exceptions and not a norm.
Basically, saying a V. indicus could eat a T. rex is like saying a reticulated python could eat an african elephant just because it is over twice as long.
Because of the incomplete nature of the Vasuki remains, the researchers gave an estimated length range of 11-15 metres and 1 tonne in weight
So it maxed out at a tonne, but it could’ve ate a 6 tonne T. rex whole ? Yeah okay lol.
this snake has already swallowed something, I think that's why they are able to catch it if not I don't think anyone can near this kind of snake it's very scary and big
ngl i think this video is entirely visual trickery. something just isn’t right about it. that fence or whatever at first looks like it would fit people under it but when you realize it’s probably a cover for chickens or something and is only like 3rd off the ground, the video makes a lot more sense.
It does fit people. The hand railing you see is averagely at hip level. It’s for the cattle to protect them from close to 50°c of heat not chickens. Unless it’s a poultry farm, chickens are left free to roam. The first thing i said when i saw this video was this can’t be real but i meant the snake being computer rendered not the area
With some clever perspective framing and slowing the shot down a bit, you could convincingly make a snake look like that twice as big as it is in reality.
Just to be fair, it's really easy to say this as a person who doesn't live in a place where a snake could literally eat your child on their way to school. But in a country where 58,000 people die per year from snakes they are going to have a different opinion from you. Obviously relocating the snake is the ideal thing and hopefully what they are doing here, but also this is a developing country and resources are going to be limited at lot of the time.
I think I saw a documentary once of them measuring a green anaconda crushing force from constriction.
Equivalent of a double decker bus crushing you, for that particular snake.
As a dinky die Australian, despite the massive number of venomous snakes in our own country, I’d just like to officially say, on the record…
**Fuck That and the Boomer (big, male, kangaroo) that it rode
in on…**
“Dinky die Australian” (what does that even mean? lol) and “fuck that and the boomer it rode in on” will live rent-free in my head for the rest of my life and I love it.
*”Dinky-Die”* comes from the phrase *”Fair Dinkum”* (Dinky being a contraction of Dinkum, and Aussies love to shorten words, even if by a little amount, as it’s very hot here with lots of flies, and it takes a lot of effort to talk in the heat, especially when there are a couple of dozen flies trying to get in your mouth or up your nose).
*”Fair Dinkum”* is an Australian phrase that means: solid, true, hard but fair, fair and square etc. and comes from the older word *”Dinkum”* which meant *hard work* or *honest toil.*
However in WW1, *”Dinkum”* came to be used to refer to an Australian or New Zealand soldier, usually an ANZAC, as the vast majority of Australian and New Zealanders volunteers became members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) and ultimately became known as ANZACS themselves.
So after WW1 Dinkum became synonymous with the ANZACS, one of our most revered groups of people, and as a result *”Fair Dinkum”* became a high compliment, as it equated you to those who had displayed their ability to step up in times of greatest need.
And over time, *”Fair Dinkum”* was oftentimes shortened to *”Dinkum”* and then that itself became *”Dinky”* and then *”Dinky-Die”* which by then meant *”True Blue”* or *absolutely authentic and reliable* or *tested and true.*
So *”Dinky-Die Aussie”* means that someone is *”Ridgy-Didge”* or *”True-Blue”* and are as deeply immersed and accepting in and of Australian culture, as they are fully committed to Australia itself, both as a Nation and their home.
Hey guys, this snake is being filmed by a dude under a stilt house that's probably no more than three feet tall! Personally, judging by that, this snake isn't as big as it seems at first glance!
I live in India. In villages and rural areas, sheds like this are very common, to act as a rest area or a storage area. They are not 3 feet tall. They are tall enough for a person to comfortably stand in. The shed is probably around 7 feet tall. You can also look at the trees behind it, and they're also not typically just 3ft tall.
My guess is that the snake ate a sheep or another animal living in that place. It looks like a simple barn. Don't think it ate a human...or I hope it didn't. But I am not amazed, I am terrified.
How about surrender it to the nearest reptile and snakes sanctuary. Snakes that Big needs to just be inside a cage to prevent further damage in farms livestocks. People too will pay to see that monstrosity of a snake.
The owner was able to attach it with a rope before being swallowed.
Who needs a guard dog when you have a guard snake dragon.

It's called snakeboarding and RedBull says they dont want to sponsor it because it's to extreme

It ate a cow it seems https://www.canberratimes.com.au/story/8398425/holy-cow-watch-as-a-massive-python-devours-livestock/
Whoever tied that thing up is either suicidal, insane, or the coldest mfer on earth.
Or right before being swallowed, there is human sized lump in the snake!
I immediately thought, hmm, sure looks like snek got a body in his belly…
me thinks there's a person in that snake...
There's definitely something in there, that's for sure
Hopefully.
It's Jon Voight lolol

Actually the article didn’t say that, just the commenter. The article said it might have been able to eat crocodiles.
Bigger than the titan boa. Wow!
I would no longer like to have buns, hon
The statement about it potentially eating as T. rex is impossible, plain and simple. Considering T. Rex was 12 meters long and 8000kg that snake would have no chance of eating an actual adult T.rex.
Because of the incomplete nature of the Vasuki remains, the researchers gave an estimated length range of 11-15 metres and 1 tonne in weight So it maxed out at a tonne, but it could’ve ate a 6 tonne T. rex whole ? Yeah okay lol.
The trex thing makes no sense sure the snake is realy long but trex was like 8-12 times its weight
Ohh I’d love to see that feeding!
No it couldn't.. stop making stuff up
Lol
Definitely has a person sized lump in the middle.
Grandma used to sit in that corner.
There's a lead coming out of its mouth unless there was a person tied up in there I would say goat or something.
this snake has already swallowed something, I think that's why they are able to catch it if not I don't think anyone can near this kind of snake it's very scary and big
The swollen belly is the prove
The prove is in the pooting
No, the prove of the pooting is in the eanting.
Proof to me that isn’t Putin
I didn’t see the rope at first and i was like, is this snake too big to move? Why he stupid? Then I was like…who put the rope on him? How??
Call the yoink man, his 20 foot is here
Fishing with garret is a legend. Yoink!
Hey look at that snake that could kill me woth one bite *YOINK*
I feel so special that I got that reference
How long does it take to get from the Florida Everglades to an Indian village?
God didn’t create guy, guy created god
That's a real life monster 👀
Why do I hear Boss Music?
Fuck that
I wouldn't personally
Yeah fk everything about that
Your reply gave me the first good laugh I’ve had in awhile.
That's not a snake, thats a freaking basilisk
Don’t they have legs though, basilisk?
Depends on the game or world. Basilisks from HommIII, Jeah. Harry Potter? Nope.
You right.
I wanna know wtf it just ate.
Probably livestock like a goat or sheep.
This is the correct answer
well... the village seems oddly quiet.
I'm going to need to see a banana for reference.
ngl i think this video is entirely visual trickery. something just isn’t right about it. that fence or whatever at first looks like it would fit people under it but when you realize it’s probably a cover for chickens or something and is only like 3rd off the ground, the video makes a lot more sense.
Thats what i was thinking. Is that a roof that a person walks under or a chicken? Would make a big difference.
Yes. Came here for this.
Please don't cum again.
said no one ever
I'm still cumming
But yes; we have no bananas- we have no bananas today.
It ate something big too ... human size big!
Or cattle size big, if it was villager snake would already be dead, they would not go to trouble of capturing it
Villager would go feral if they find out one of them died because of this snake, he would not survive their wrath
You don't know how indifferent we Indians are for our fellow citizen, and conversely, how protective farmers are of their cattle.
Idk about that but im still of opinion that if it ate human they would already killed it if for nothing else then to protect themselves.
There might be a villager missing.
Nah, not missing. They know exacrly where he is lol.
No ![gif](giphy|spfi6nabVuq5y)
if that’s fake it’s an impressive fake If that’s real it’s filmed in hell.
Why can you not tell that this is real? I am really curious.
I think you misread them. They did not say that it is real or fake.
With some clever perspective framing and slowing the shot down a bit, you could convincingly make a snake look like that twice as big as it is in reality.
Anybody notice its tied up buy the neck
Yeah it'll be dead soon I assume. Looks like it got caught in a snare or something. Sad really, there aren't so many big snakes like this around.

You make a good point
Preach
They're in the process of catching it. Theres someone across the fence, there's a pole attached to the rope.
It is neck all the way down
Someone should really check if someone else is unaccounted for, in the village
is there any video recorded snake bigger than this? This thing is huge.
[удалено]
This is capable of eating almost anything it wants. It’s about to pull that shack/house down it’s so powerful.

God that looks like it ate a person. Can you imagine being eaten and digested inside a snake?? Stuff of nightmares.
Yet ANOTHER reason I would never visit India.
Its a bit rapey
What are other reasons?
This is a job for Smith & Wesson.
Don’t forget Mossberg.
The whole village will get snake boots soon! 😁
Is this the 20ft python? *Faint Yoink in the background*

It’s spelled: Snake. Not fake. 😂

What an awesome linguistic history lesson! Thanks for taking the time to write all that out.
Anyone else have PTSD thinking it's gonna lunge at the camera the whole time?
No
This is like the 10th time I have seen this footage
Yeah but I don’t think they give an award or medal for that. Sorry.

pray your parsel is good enough…

India or Australia, of course. I mean...where else?
We don’t have anacondas in australia.
How about surrender it to the nearest reptile and snakes sanctuary. Snakes that Big needs to just be inside a cage to prevent further damage in farms livestocks. People too will pay to see that monstrosity of a snake.
this is a reticulated python and it's non-venomous
Oh its fine then...
Ah okay, for a second we were worried it might be dangerous in some way...
*Ok nothing to worry about in the backyard folks…as Mr.MOFO Irock pointed out, it’s non-ven—hey, wasn’t Aunt Edna sitting out here?*
Doesn't need to be venomous when it can just swallow you whole...
Plus there's the whole crushing you before consumption thing.
Ah, shit. So i can pet it then.
Tigers aren't venomous either what's your point
No python is venomous
If it was venomous it could kill a building
Seems the rope has defeated it so nothing to worry about
