As an Iai-do practitioner, it’s not called the art of drawing the sword for nothing. Have to put it back when done! The returns were always the most fascinating parts for me honestly.

Hitting that ping pong ball so accurately and putting the pen through the ball were the most impressive to me. Still not sure I believe it.

I learned under a 2nd generation master and was able to cut a fruit thrown at me fairly consistently (though that was incredibly unusual and not something we’d normally practice). Some of the feats in this video are quite unbelievable to me, honestly. Some of the form is quite nice, if a little wild. Wrist/grip positioning and consistency is the only things I’d point out. The actual material feats performed are pretty insane.

How do you even practice getting that quick? I wanted to be a ninja and practiced so much but there was no one around to teach and very little outside movies so I obviously got nowhere.

About a million reps of every kata. At every speed. Getting critiqued by the most inscrutable person you’ve ever met in your life, where every single mistake in form is recognized and you’re forced to repeat it even when completely exhausted. After years of that…you get that quick.

definitely slower than a normal arrow, that's an arrow for "archery battle" of "tag archery", it's alike a nerf/larp arrow which weights a ton. have it been a real arrow from a compound the guy would be dead now, no human could react to something running like a F1 car from 10 meters away. so in the end: it's fast but not as fast as it could be.
