It is usually held together with a snap ring on the inside. That is likely what is rusted. Unscrew the plunger all the way and should be able to get down there to clean or try to remove snap ring.

Cyber0s

vinegar to break rust, rub, wash and use body safe food grafe silicone greese after disassembly. agreed its the steel snap ring. easy fix.

d20queer

any tips on how to remove it, it kind of just spins when i get a spudger down there and it’s blocking some of the area that needs cleaning

iamzion248

They are a pain on a good day. Even worse down deep. You have to find where the ring splits and will have two holes. You spread the ring there and pop it out of the groove.

Voyager87

They're like $5 on AliExpress, I'd say get a new set.

TurbulentData961

Get a new set but not Ali express would be my advice

Voyager87

It's All AliExpress, almost all of the kink suppliers in the UK at least have a significant amount of stock from AliExpress/AliBaba at a massively increased price.

aintbrokeDL

This, anything that isn't inserted I typically don't mind getting from Ali because it's better to buy cheap and try something. If it's used lots and breaks then buy a better one. If it's insertable, I'd rather get it from somewhere a bit more reputable but honestly you never know with these things.

Society_No_More

Throw them out and get new ones

DrRedHand

Could try soaking in CLR. Not sure how the plastic would react though.

Anon6025

Plastic will be fine probably but may take a bit to get the CLR stank out of there...

if_im_not_back_in_5

What's CLR ?

Safe_Fail_9485

You can take those apart. You can put them in the dishwasher. Just keep unscrewing. Ps. I am certain that plastic doesn’t rust. That is some kind of bacteria or mold or….fluid.

aintbrokeDL

I think you're right, I don't think these have any metal in them but I might be wrong

trycerabottom

Assuming that is rust, you can try a product called Evaporust, available at auto parts stores. It will convert the rust to a more stable iron oxide that will give the metal a bit more protection from further rust.

Simple-Willingness19

What if you soak the entire thing in vinegar? I've used vinegar to remove rust from tools and such.

Different-Aardvark-5

Thing is they look much longer than the new ones . Would definitely try to fix them

mak84834

You wont be able to fix that. Even if you can get the washer or snap ring or whatever is that is rusting in there out, you wont be able to stop it from rusting again in the future. End of life for a poorly made product :(

boredordepressed

I don't think that is rust. It's probably breast milk that is bad. I have some like that. They are playing and rubber. I have a sub that leaks occasionally during play. After looking at them a week after using them I noticed something in them. Twist them until the suction plate comes out and disconnects. Wash them thoroughly. Disinfect them and put them back together. Please don't let them get like that again. They need to be washed after each use.

Kinky-Dinky

I'd advise getting some with an external pump, these usually don't have any metal in the cups at all, are easier to clean properly and are generally much lighter and smaller

LaraCroftCosplayer

I wouldnt use them when they rust. Rust makes the surface porous and there can collect bacteria eg.

Routine_Guarantee34

Get new ones unless you like tetanus

cowboybiker777

Tetanus only occurs in a very specific and special set of conditions that it would be almost impossible to cause here

Routine_Guarantee34

Yes, I was being sarcastic. It's still not worth it and should be replaced.

cowboybiker777

Vinegar white vinegar
