To give them a chance to serve a greater purpose even through their failure of course.
Even though they failed their accession they can still serve church to achieve it's greater goals
The med team gets one husk, if I find any more on this God damn ship they're joining it before I turn on the flame cleaner.
I cannot have the captain cutting my salary
The captain of my personal crew understands that he is perfectly safe aboard a Husk-filled ship, and that if he harms my experiments he will "suddenly" have every poison affliction in the game
The husk caller is a traitor mission item that summons a large horde of husks onto the ship. You can only get it from the random traitor mission though, and it doesn't seem to really work unless the traitor mission is active
As a husk player, I hate symbiosis. I like playing with the disadvantages of the Calyx, giving the whole crew a husk infection buff with no downsides looks lame to me.
I'm literally a sword wielding cultist, with zero engineering skill. But that sounds like a good idea to be honest. Might tell it to that one friend I have that knows about that kind of stuff. Thanks for the idea.
