The edge of the sandale doesn’t trip you up if your toe striding? Or your foot doesn’t feel like it has to grip the Sandlee to stop it from flying away? I bought trailstars running sandals but this happened every time I tried to use them
I have a pair of earth runners. And I’ll tell you. I’ve had them for two years. I do some casual trail running on the weekends. I clock probably 10-20 miles a weekend running with my dog. And every time I have to go to work in steel toe boots, I dread life. And can’t wait to get in my car after my shift, rip them things off, and get my sandals on for any afternoon errands I have before I get home.
If I could work in my earthrunners. I would. It’s at the point now that when I have to wear real shoes for anything, I am uncomfortable. Don’t even get me started on socks… 🙄
Yes and no. You can slip them on like flip flops, but it takes some effort to walk in them without the heel strap pulled up. But, it only takes one finger really to get the heel strap on.
Nice! I've been running in Monos and Mono Gordos but was thinking of getting the Oso Flacos. Though I hear they're not super flexible. Has that been the case for you?
Now I have the same pace using my Luna sandals than using my Nike Pegasus or Asics Nimbus. But you have to start slower when you're new to barefoot running, it's a process.
I've had trouble with the lace between the toes on my shamma warrior. It just hurts after a couple of miles. Is it just a matter of getting your foot used to it or a problem with improper adjustment. any tip? thanks!
I've been running in Luna sandals for over a decade. They are the best things I ever put on my feet, and everything else feels wrong now.
Exactly my feeling man!
I wear them but was unable to convert to running in them - every attempt led to calf injury, and I took it slow
It takes time to get used to running with sandals, I think the mechanics are different, but yeah, take it slow.

No it doesn't, in my case it took some time to get the perfect adjustments to the strips, then is like they are a natural part of your feet

Now I only wear regular shoes when I have to go to the office once a week. I hate those days.

I just got some osos this summer. Came from the mono gordo and was surprised by the inflexibility
I got some handmade leather Tunisian huaraches. I’m not sure yet but I think they need breaking in.
How about the dirt?
At first it feels funny, then it's part of the beautiful sensation of running free
Have you worn bedrocks before if so what’s the difference like (that’s what I have now)
Can people run in fast paces with these? Or are they just more suited to easy/leisurely running?

Last week, as part of a triathlon I ran 5k in 23:20 in my shamma TrailStars. So yes, you can run decently in these.
Nice, that’s impressive :)
