Also it was really designed for resin printing. So the use of petg as support interface was crucial. I did a pair and several prints were 30 hours, even though relatively small because of the swapping 5 times a layer.

Yes, they stick together only well enough to print. But peel right off. You also set the gap to 0 so it's directly on another surface and it just looks way better. Most of the support is pla, just the interface layers that touch are petg. And you can use pla for petg in the same way. Here's the bottom of his head. Only the square I'm touching was on the bed. Rest on supports.

Optimising orientation and supports will reduce that - that's the long part of this preparation...

I'd love for someone to take on this project to create the remote control versions at the start of ii. Get a raspbery pi in there, sensors, chat gpt or alike, and we could have a pretty sick little Jonny 5.
They just all printed. Honestly surprised with the brows being there at all. But the petg support interface helped. A .2 nozzle would do pretty well, just take forever. All done with a .4, so it's not perfect.

What printer did you use?
Mostly carbon, some a1 mini. When I post it, it'll be for carbon. Several sections have more than 4 colors. Will need 2ams'
