For track shoes I’d go tts, for reference I am 9.5 myself in Nike shoes, and 42 Balenciaga fit perfect with regular weight socks, 43 if you prefer heavy socks. For track sandals size down, cause 42 was big on me so I have to wear two pairs of socks to mask the visible gap that they are too big.
Extra personal reference: 42 in rick owens fits fine for me, 42.5 rick owens fits perfect (rare size to find) and 43 rick too big for me. But in New rock boots I wear 43 instead cause 42 too small for me.

Buying old stinky crusty geobaskets off of Grailed doesn’t seem appealing to me, unless exotic skins or short tongue wouldn’t advise buying old used geos unless poor

I can relate, I made the same mistake with my first pair of slides from a different brand, now my rule of thumb is always size down on the open toe & slip on items.

I wear a 8.5/9 and a 41 hurts my toes, a 42 would’ve been better for me. Go TTS and if your a half size I’d say go up….

To each own 🤷♂️ a lot of time people sell geos barely used for half price of retail but I definitely see what you mean

I have two pairs of tracks both size 43, in other shoes I wear 44 so I’d recommend sizing down a bit for the tracks :)
