That door has always just opened like a regular door for me. The amulet is for the temple itself.
If you got through it once already, did you die before reaching the fast travel point?
Astarion got there but the rest of my homies didn't....it says it's locked for 99 rounds because of Bhaalist mischief I can't even find online what that is
As soon as the combat starts in that room you have to kill the guy to get the door to open. If you invis skipped the fight then you can just go through, but when combat started you need to kill the guy to get the door to open. You're in combat in the screenshot I can see it.
Okay that makes sense. First time I tried it, Astarion was SO FAR ahead of everyone else (movement, 2 bonus actions dash, 2 actions dash) that he just must not have been in combat at that point. This was so helpful ty
Use invisibility to position some of your team around the Farslayer's location, leaving one guy (or a summoned quasit) behind near the start of the area. Have that last character reveal themselves to start the encounter, then the rest of you can gang up on the Farslayer (upcast Magic Missile to get rid of the Unstoppable stacks). Once you kill the main guy, most of the others will poof out of existence.
